Rare and Expensive collectibles: How you will be CHEATED.

As I mentioned in previous blog post that there is nothing like RARE and Expensive collectibles items whether it's stamps or coins or matchbox or beanie baby or trading cards or postcards or anything you think about.

It will be not rare and expensive collectibles items if you don't glorify either by exhibiting it or by writing about it in coin or philatelic or any collectible handbook or by increasing price by fake bidding it.

If you see all the hobbies are declining because it's hard to keep up with changing habbits of teenagers who will be driving force of this rare and expensive collectibles, but they are moving towards video games or internet and don't have enough time to spend on hobby.

Recently I won 1948 Gandhi stamps for $311.!!

But actually I was CHEATED.!!!
I learned that in stamp collection that there is nothing rare and expensive collectibles and you cannot buy anything if you are not CHEATED.!!!

You will be CHEATED by

But you will be cheated also by bidders

1) SHILL bidding (seller might use their other own accounts or relatives might help)
2) Bidders retracting bid at last moment
3) Seller cancelling higher bidder.

In this case I was cheated by RETRACT bid and CANCELLED BID. Also there are chances of cheating by SHILL bidding.

I am completely aware of pricing of this rare and expensive collectibles item!! In past I wrote about current value of this rare and expensive collectibles item so I was completely aware of stamp price.!!

Recently to do my research I bidded on following  India 1948 Gandhi MNH stamp from seller "worldstamps22" from Belgium. for $311.!!

Looks like this seller "worldstamps22" is selling 100 items of  Gandhi stamps!! and out of that 94 has bid on it!! .

Looks like "worldstamps22" from Belgium (not sure) seller/dealer/collector getting out of Gandhi stamp collection.!!

I usually don't bid this high but it was different kind of research so I bidded on it and I was winner for 9 hours only.!!

Now let's do some dissection of this transaction and you will notice that  2 bidders retract their bid at last moment.!!

There were total 14 bidders on this item.!!

I bidded on Jan 6 @ 23:19 for $311.
3**u(345) bidded on Jan 7 @ 08:11 for $316. (at this point I was not winner)
u***n(0) bidded on Jan 7 @ 10:53 for $999.

Now if you see both of them retract their bid and I was winner.!!

u**n(0) bid was cancelled by SELLER on Jan 10 @ 3:39 (after 3 days.!!)
3***u(345) retract on Jan 10 @ 6:35  ( why this bidder also retracted ?)

So again I was winner for next 18 hours.!! To me both bidders were FAKE bidders which were nothing but trying to increase price and helping seller.!! (We need to also look in to this as what are  chance of SHILL bidding)

Bidding ended on Jan 10 @ 22:38

To me it was nothing but trying to increase price!! No one is going to pay more $50 for this stamp.!! All other bidders are also trying to increase price without intention to actual intense to buy it.

Did you notice HOW I WAS CHEATED.!!! ( after 12 days I got message about paymnent but I emailed buyer about this Cheating .!!)

So what are chance of SHILL bidding in this transaction ?

Only God knows about it or SELLER knows about it as it will be very hard to nail it down unless seller do some mistake!!

Read my previous dissection of eBay transaction of Gandhi stamps where I exposed Indian Philately.!!

India Philately Exposed.
India Philately Exposed - Part 2

After reading above blog posts don't you think only eBay id's are changing, but concept or idea or principle remains same.!!

So BEWARE now it will be turn when you buy Rare and Expensive collectibles. It's happening each and every collectible items.!!! whether is not expensive collectibles items or not rare collectibles items.

There is nothing like Rare and Expensive collectibles, but it is made Rare and Expensive collectibles by increasing price.!!

I will not pay $10 for this stamp because stamp collection hobby is dying.!!

Reason for this low price is that no one collects stamps.!!

But also lot of FORGERY and SHILL bidding which is killing this hobby.!!

Want to know more about FAKE and FORGERY stamps then checkout other blog post click one of the following link and you will be surprised.!!!

1) Philatelic FAKE and FORGERIES.
2) FAKE AERO PHILATELY Covers.
3) Stamp collection CHEATING.
4) Stamp Collection Value
5) Stamp Collecting Facts
6) China stamp collection value.

8) World First Flight Cover
9) Greatest Stamp Collection Scandal
10) Biggest stamp collection SCAM
11) SCANDAL in stamp collection

Now does it make sense to collect stamps ?

But now you know my 15 steps to make money on internet.!! and following four blog post will make you expert in making money.!!

Rare valuable stamps price

Stamp Collection is indeed dying after looking at pricing of Gandhi Memorial Stamps folder issued officially issued by Post and Telegraph department of India.

There is nothing like RARE stamps selling online or in auction house because it might be either some famous collectors or with ROYAL family.

What you see on eBay are either FORGERY which are made by high quality printers!!

So it will be very hard to find out RARE valuable stamps price.!!

Sometimes you see BOGUS folder selling as RARE for more than $30000!! Which are not even officially issued by stamp governing body.

Also no one know about it but still get Expertising certificates.!!

To me it's a handy work of some collectors who are trying  to glorifying Gandhi stamps by various means of publicity such as stamp exhibition, philatelic handbook, philatelic websites etc.

So BEWARE what are you jumping in.!!

It's not investment but a big SCAM.!!

Recently 2 folders were sold for $22 each.!!!

You might see this again for sale with forged 10 Rupees India Gandhi stamps affixed on this folder and forged rubber stamp of some post office or special Jai Hind cancellation and will be for sale again.!!

And of course SHILL bidding will be there to increase price and to GLORIFY that Gandhi stamps is indeed one of a kind and  newly rich people are investing in stamps.!!

In past stamps were sold for very very low price which indicates  stamps price are declining.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/10/gandhi-centenary-great-britain-stamp.html

In past this folders were selling for unbelievable price, but according to me it's nothing but SHILL bidding and FORGERY or BOGUS folder in order to make money.

Stamp folders are nothing but to make money.!!

Read my following blog post so you can understand what are this Gandhi Memorial Stamps folder.!!

Censored marking mail Cover - FAKE

Recently I saw 1930 Straits Settlement Registered & Censored Cover to India.

As per seller Censored marking is FAKE.!!

Of course Censored marking is rubber stamp so anyone can make it and apply it. This is common practice  for all philatelic material as it is very hard to find GENUINE specially with censor marking.!!

Now don't you think whether postmark from Straits Settlement are also FAKE same way like we saw in  in 1911 ALLAHABAD post office postmark with FORGERY special cancellation.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/07/first-aerial-post-indian-philately.html

It's also rubber stamp like censored marking mail Cover.!! When you see something FAKE or forged that means everything on it forged because it does not make sense.

Chances of FAKE are very high because look at the clear cancellation with all circular border and date is visible very clearly after 83+ years.!!

Also in past we had seen lot of Straits Settlement rubber stamp applied on British India stamps so don't you think everything on this cover is FAKE including
  • Register label 28796
  • Malaca postmark
  • Malaca address rubber stamp
  • Karakudi postmark
  • Passed for Transmission.

Now let's see FAKE or Bogus rubber stamps used in Gandhi stamp collection as well as Queen Victoria cover  4 annas stamp.

Following blog post will explain you that indeed that Indian Stamps and Philately (British India and 1948 Gandhi Stamps) needs to be examined before you even think about buying it.

Forgery in Indian Philately as well as 1854 Queen Victoria stamps.
Beware of First Aerial Mail.
King Edward stamp and Gandhi Stamps.!!
Gandhi Stamps and Independence of India. (shameless act !!)
A Hobby in Decline.!!

Recently I saw 2 auction of forged cancellation of East India stamp and Queen Victoria stamps were selling with forged cancellation. (Of course seller mentioned this are FAKE or Forged philatelic material otherwise I will not know.!!, also it's selling at very minimum price. I saw Gandhi forged stamps sold for $1000!! which was also FAKE(shill bidding).!!)

This are Forged cancellation on East India Company stamp from Penang Octagonal cancellation and Sungei Ujong Chop cancellation.!!! on Queen Victoria stamps, King George V stamps.!!

Even forgery are selling at high price. !! Easy way to make money by selling item as forgery.!!

So don't you see similarity with Gandhi Philately material.!! Following cancellation  are some of the  FAKE or FORGED special cancellation, postmark cancellation or local post office cancellation. It's just a RUBBER STAMP which my kids use to play to make art work.!! such as butterflies, rainbow, animals, etc.!!

Read my blog post about following FAKE AND FORGED Gandhi stamps and philatelic cancellation.

Let me make sure that I am not telling that this is forged stamps. I am just comparing with other stamps and letting you know possibilities so you can think before you buy it, as you have to pay money. (not me!!). I am just happy if my eBay stock goes up.!!

Following are some of the FORGERY cover from Burma, Tibet and USA currently available on eBay so compare with it and decide what is this India Victoria cover 4 annas stamp.

So now after reading this blog post as well as other links what do you think about following

Don't you think this Censored marking mail Cover is completely FAKE ?

It's up to you to do research or think as you have to pay money.!!

India Victoria cover 4 annas stamp

On 1/17/2014  I saw India Victoria cover 4 annas to France was sold was $7400, but same cover was sold for $8100 on 1/10/2014.!!

This is common practice were price is increased and will be for sale again or next bidder will get Second Offer.!!

Click following link to read my blog post were similar thing  happen and understand properly.

Looks like buyer did not paid $8100. This is similar to what's going in Gandhi stamp selling were price is increased by different bidders and they don't pay.!!

But my main question about this cover is what are chances of FORGERY ?

Yes forgery by applying forged rubber stamp .!!! Than buyer will have really extraordinary show piece.!!

Don't you think you can make this postmark rubber stamp easily ?

Even if it is slightly off then also no one will notice it.!! It has been 160 years ago.!!

In past we had seen lot of forged rubber stamp applied on Gandhi cover and also British India cover with First Aerial Post or Straits Settlements etc so chances of this as forgery is very high.!

In past I wrote blog post about Forgery in Queen Victoria cover 4 annas stamp, so please click before you read further as you get some idea what's happening.

Rarities India 1854 stamp - Queen Victoria stamp - Making money on Internet

Forgery India Queen Victoria Stamps

India 1854 half anna - queen victoria british india stamp

India 1854 QV Queen Victoria 4 annas stamps

There were 13 bidders and 40 bids which took price to $8100.!!

So what do you think about SHILL bidding in this transaction ?

Yes SHILL bidding where seller get help from philatelic friends or relatives or Seller using other eBay account of his own. ?

Do you think SHILL bidding happen to increase the price ?

God knows about this or Seller knows about it.!!

But one thing is sure that price was increased by some of this 13 bidders who did not paid eventually.!!

Now let's see FAKE or Bogus rubber stamps used in Gandhi stamp collection as well as Queen Victoria cover  4 annas stamp.

Even forgery are selling at high price. !! Easy way to make money by selling item as forgery.!!

So don't you see similarity with Gandhi Philately material.!! Following cancellation  are some of the  FAKE or FORGED special cancellation, postmark cancellation or local post office cancellation. 1) Are this India 1854 QV Queen Victoria 4 annas stamps are GENUINE ?

2) Are this GENUINE bidding ?

It's up to you to do research or think as you have to pay money.!!

Stamp Collecting

Stamp Collecting is declining but can't believe there are no buyers for Gandhi stamps and Philatelic material.

As of writing this 4 Gandhi Max card, 2 philatelic Stationary cover, 1 first day cover, and 3 different stamps of Gandhi is still available (11:00 AM, PST) for $15 and is available for more than 12 hours without buyer.!!

I think if you are new collector and don't have this Gandhi stamps and philatelic material than it's good price, but you will have very hard time selling this if you are trying to making money, because no one needs it.!!

Also there are more chances of value decline by 50% in near term because no one is buying it, but also there are chances of 100% loss as stamp collection hobby might be extinct.!! So Beware before you buy it.

Reason for stamp collecting is not interested because there are other things to do in this modern high tech fast changing world.

It's boring to collect stamps!!

Also dealers and some experienced collectors make it worst by selling forgery stamps or glorifying forged material in their stamp exhibition.

It will be very hard for new collectors to research and find correct information as this forgery material is deeply spread in to philatelic handbook or philatelic catalog or websites or blogs.

Also forged material has won philatelic exhibition medal and awards, so you might think it's genuine but that's not the case as Philatelic judges might not know everything coming in exhibition and it will be impossible to find information about it so they will consider genuine whatever stamp exhibitor is telling them.!!!

And if you are famous collector then no one will question them as they think it genuine.!!! So never follow famous exhibitor or collector as they are the root cause of this decline in stamp collection.!!

Famous collectors (collector family) are virtually connected with auction house or eBay seller to make money and increase their stamp collection value. They can make good living by selling this forgery stamps and go around the world for vacation in name of philatelic judge, conveyor etc.

It's a big gang spread out in different location which makes you believe that it's good to invest in stamps, but actually it's a big SCAM.!!

Not only that Expertising certificates are issued for this forgery item also as they don't know all information going in world around 50 or 100 years ago.!!

So if you give some unique philatelic material they will start believing it.!!

And if it comes from famous collector or auction house they don't want to burn bridges as Expertsing agency also needs money without taking any liability.!!

Above Gandhi stamps and philatelic material will be good for new beginners who are thinking of stamp collecting.

1) Two 1951/1969 Gandhi Postcard from India.
2) Two 1995 Max card with Gandhi stamps from South Africa with first day  cancellation.
3) 2 Romania stationary cover with Gandhi special cancellation
4) 1995 India Gandhi SE-Tenant stamps sheet worth Rs. 8
5) Block of 2 Gandhi stamps from India.
6) 1995 First day cover of Gandhi SE-Tenant stamp from South Africa

Sri Lanka Stamps

Stamp value is not appreciating at all because no one wants to collect stamps anymore because of lot of other activities. There is no concept of hobbies with new generation as hobbies are now activity!!

Activities such as playing video games or surfing web or socializing on facebook or twitter or google plus or playing games on phone or watching TV and that's the reason no one collect stamps or any other collectibles items such as coins or baseball cards or basketball cards etc.

Following is Sri Lanka stamp of Gandhi which was issued in 1988 and after 25+ years it is selling under $2.!!

But main reason for such a decline is FORGERY selling as Genuine which is killing hobby.

Also price are increased by SHILL bidding in order to glorify stamps as well to increase value, which eventually brought down this King of Hobby.

It's like dealers and collectors want to ripoff new collectors instead of motivating new collectors and some experience and genuine collectors just sit and watch Philatelic GAME.!! instead of exposing what's going.!!

What to learn how to play Philatelic GAME then click following link to read my blog post.

1) Philatelic GAME.!!
2) Philatelic Greed !!
3) Stamp Collecting FACTS.

Also following are different ways to make money by selling stamps on Internet. (Of course is CHEATING!!)

1) Make money by selling SPECIMEN postcard
2) Make money by making RUBBER stamp
3) Make money by selling TRIAL PROOF waste by stealing it or by art using Photoshop.
4) Make money by selling FORGERY stamps
5) Make money by selling FORGED special cancellation from different cities.
6) Make money by selling FORGERY stamps as GENUINE.
7) Make money by selling BOGUS - never exist special cancellation
8) Make money by selling LABELS - forgery or bogus
9) Make money by selling FAKE or BOGUS First Flight Cover FFC
10 ) Make money by OVERPRINTING stamps.!!

Commonwealth Day stamps - Colonial stamps

In 1983 United Kingdom issued Commonwealth stamp Colonial stamps to celebrate Commonwealth Day. All British Colonial countries  issued stamp

Four stamps were issued with 4 different special cancellation and one of the special cancellation  was dedicated to honor Mahatma Gandhi.

Four stamps were

Atlantic Salmon, 15 1/2p
Northern Pike, 19 1/2p
Brown Trout, 26p
Eurasion Perch, 29p

But what surprise me that FDC with all 4 stamps are selling below 90 pence.!!

Recently Commonwealth Day stamps - Colonial stamps FDC with all four stamps were sold for 0.25 GBP.!!

Loss of 300% in 31 years.!! So after 31 years it's value is not appreciating at all.!!

Do you think you still want to collect stamps.!!

Even Presentation Pack Commonwealth Day is not selling for more than one GBP.!!

Even Gandhi special cancellation is not helping.!!!

On Jan 13 it GB stamps first day cover 1983 commonwealth Gandhi collection was sold for 1.74 GBP.!!

7) First AirMail Post
8) World First Flight Cover
9) Greatest Stamp Collection Scandal
10) Biggest stamp collection SCAM
11) SCANDAL in stamp collection
12) How to increase stamp collection value

Now does it make sense to collect stamps ?

SPECIMEN stamps Muster Stamps

Following are different ways to make money by selling stamps on Internet.

Look at the following two specimen stamp from Montserrat and decide which one is Genuine and which one is FORGERY.

Montserrat  SPECIMEN (Muster stamp) on One stamp is printed with black ink and other is with silver ink.!!

Do you think they are also doing SPECIMEN of SPECIMEN stamp or Muster stamp (in German).!! in which they are checking which color will look good.!!

My personal opinion is both are forgery!!

Don't you think it's easy to make OVERPRINT stamps and make money.

If you sell regular stamp without any OVERPRINT  such as SPECIMEN or SERVICE or STATE NAME then it will have no buyer or you have to sell it at 1/10 or 1/20 price of OVERPRINT stamp.

Just buy stamp and use your printer to OVERPRINT SPECIMEN on it and SPECIMEN stamp is ready. Do It Yourself (DIY).

There are no buyer of  following Montserrat stamp of famous people for $5, so buy it and overprint with SPECIMEN and you can make $70 or $150.!!

My opinion is same way like other Expertising person or committee or society take responsibility of their opinion.!!

So if you buy it even with Expertising certificate, you are not sure whether it's GENUINE. !! and you can loose your money because no liability.!!

Thanks
Gandhi Stamps Club.
