Recently I saw British India stamp of Queen Victoria on eBay from seller "delhaye.david.phila" from Belgium selling as "India 1854 Yvert #3 used "
Not sure what it means "India 1854 Yvert #3" but still it was sold for $3275.
I will not even buy this kind of cancellation or stamp even it is for $3, because it's nothing but FORGERY and highly glorified to increase stamp value of India 1854 Yvert - British India stamp Queen Victoria - QV stamp.
To me it's a fairy tale.!!
India 1854 Yvert Straits Settlements forged Penang
Sold for $3275 Sold as Forgery for $2
Compare this cancellation with Straits Settlement cancellation which is widely available as forgery and you will also start wondering what's going in this Yvert
Not sure how someone can pay this much money without any details or proof of authenticity.
Yes proof of authenticity because there are lot of FORGERY of India 1854 Yvert - British India stamp Queen Victoria - QV stamp is available.
Even proof of authenticity are FORGED such as expert certificates, so there is now way you will find correct information as all this HANDBOOK or yearly book don't know and they just want their material to glorify or they might be comparing with forged only.
So let's think what are chance of India 1854 Yvert - British India stamp Queen Victoria - QV stamp as FORGERY?
If you see cancellation of B/109 is so clear and precise that it was actually made for forgery.!! Even after 150+ years rubber stamp look as if it is not travel through postal stream and has no affect of weather and all other calamities in world that happen during that time.
eBay is making lot of money on this India 1854 Yvert - British India stamp Queen Victoria - QV stamp transaction.
Do you think eBay made money on this or eBay shareholder is taking loss because of this transaction ?
In past I wrote how to blog post about "15 steps to make money on internet by selling stamps".
In order to make money on internet you just need to do following
1) Create rubber stamp of any post office ( you will be forgery expert)
2) Affix mint stamp on cover or post card or any other piece of paper( you can use forgery or facsimile stamp also, no one will notice as it's used).
3) Make clear cancellation postmark(clear date, clear city etc) using forged rubber stamp after typing (invest in buying one typewriter) or writing address on it.
4) Start selling on internet. (don't give full description of the stamp.!!)
Now in order to make money on internet do following so you can make more money by increasing price
5) Open multiple account (you don't have to pay to open account ) and start Shill bidding on it ( So you can increase price and make more money.!!)
6) Use another id and do more Shill bidding (so you can show there are lot of collectors interest) and also write FAKE feedback even transaction is not complete.!!
7) If no buyer other than you than cancel transaction by opening case of non paying buyer, so you don't have to pay eBay Commission.!! (cheat eBay shareholder also for using FAKE transaction.!!)
Then what if it don't sell or your shill bidding id wins
8) List again (you don't have to pay unless it sold and get money from seller).
9) Do same steps 5-7 again, but little lower shill bidding.!!
10) And wait for some one to buy it.!!
Then what if still not sold
11) Wait for another 5-6 months and do step 1-10 again.!!!
12) Also list as "with expertise certification" by forging stamp Expertising certification of famous philatelic society or reuse (photoshop) of some original certificate.!!
13) Send your used cover to philatelic handbook author so it will be published in their Gandhi collection yearbook or handbook, which will make it authentic material and there will be interest in buying it.
14) Exhibit your forgery collection online such as topicalphilately or japhila so new collector will try to get some idea what to buy (collect) as they think this are genuine philatelic material (because new collector don't know).!!
15) Participate in stamp exhibition or let friend (team work) and win medal with forgery material.!! Philatelic Judges don't want to confront with famous collector as they might not know whether it's genuine or fake and will trust that famous collector.
Now to learn more read following of two blog post so you will be expert in making money.!!
But I don't think any of them deserve high price because they are not rare and it's very hard to find other than fake and forgery.
1) Buy some forged stamps full sheet of 1854 Queen Victoria stamps of British India is available as forgery, only for $30.!!
So my brain started thinking that what are the chances of this mint stamps can be converted to USED stamps so there will be less doubt about the forgery.!!
Now look at the following expensive 1854 Queen Victoria stamp from India selling as Mint stamps or Used stamps for very high price.
What are chances of this USED stamps are made from above stamp sheet ? I am not sure whether following are FAKE or forgery because I am not expert. But you know expertising certificate from BPA and RPSL are also re-used or re-copied in past so whom to trust.!!
In past we have seen forgery of Rarities India stamps of King George stamps, King Edward Stamps and Queen Victoria stamps from various countries so this is nothing new in British India stamps.

Don't you think it's easy to do because here you don't even need to make rubber stamp with alphabets, numbers or special symbols?
If forger can make rubber stamp of 1948 Gandhi special cancellation or one of the famous FAKE special cancellation from Germany with Emblem of India all this square or circle with just lines are very easy to forged and applied.
2) Make a forged stamp like following screenshot how easy is it to make a rubber stamp and create forged philatelic material from India which will be RARITIES INDIA 1854 stamps.

Also chances of getting caught is less because it's USED by applying rubber stamp, keeping in soil or exposing to sun and make it toned.!!
How we know whether this genuine price or just inflated price as we see all the time.
It will be very hard to find out unless you work in eBay or you are the seller!!
$717 is good money for eBay Shareholders as they will get commission from this sell and their stock price depends on this commission.
Also USA Federal Income tax and State government will get tax on this kind of sale also which will keep economy running for everyone.!!!
So now my question is do you think stamp collection is this much popular in 2013 and price is getting top dollars.?
Or this is a SHILL Bidding ?
We had seen this in Gandhi stamp collection, were everyone think they are smarter than other.!!! Do you think this apply to other BRITISH INDIA stamp also.
