Recently I was surprised after reading Rainbow stamps news about Brasiliana 2013 stamp exhibition, that there were no Gandhi stamps exhibit from India.!!
There was no participation from Gandhi stamps collectors from India out of 41 exhibit!!!
Even though we all read that Gandhi stamps is HOT in India because of newly rich people, who are investing in Gandhi stamps.!! Are they only investing and not exhibiting.!!!
Not sure why, but it looks like Gandhi collectors are losing interest in displaying their collection because all kind of forgeries and bogus philatelic material in their albums.!!
Or collectors regret their deeds to new collectors by selling some fake and forgeries philatelic materials which are one of the biggest SCAM or Scandal in philatelic world and are not PROUD of their collection and instead REGRET themselves.!!
In past we all will proudly tell or brag that I am Gandhi stamp collectors, but after all kinds of illegal activity, we are trying to hide our face.!!
But we still can fix this by exhibiting all fake or forgery in your collection and aware more collectors about this kind of activity instead of hiding all the facts or reality going in Gandhi stamp collection.
Following are some of the notable FAKE or Bogus in Gandhi stamps collection.
Why 2009 FAKE Germany Special Cancellation on October 2nd.? (This makes all 1969 special cancellation questionable!!, because who knows what have happen in 1969.!!). Also don't know upto what stage collector goes to take benefit. !!
Biggest SCAM caught on eBay.!! But this cancellation (even bogus or fake) was able to win MEDAL.!!!
Fake used on paper with 1948 Gandhi 1 1/2 Annas SERVICE are available in plenty with Governer Camp PO.!! (Even with SUNDAY cancellation!!)
It's nothing but piece of paper, highly glorified by some collector who also try to convince other to buy it.!!!
What is Tibet 1949 register cover with 1948 Gandhi stamps without stamps from Tibet and Indian Embassy of Nepal?

OVERPRINT stamp issue from Cameroun, Nicragua & Togo. Does not make sense at all someone printing on stamp by mistake. This is delibrate act.
Also 1979 - 1980 wrong year printing with UNICEF, Olympics, Einstein , TajMahal. It's nothing but a SCAM to make money by making false assumption of RARE!!
Even FAKE Error stamps. (Color faded with sunlight or other chemicals.!!!)
