Hello Philaletist,
We all know there are very very rare genuine postal history available. It's like almost to nothing.
So what will happen when you and me need it for our collection.? some one will make it for us and sell it.!!
If someone can make forgery Gucci/Coach ladies purse or RayBan sunglasses or Rolex watches or Nike shoes or anything you name it they have forgery so to make FORGERY postal history cover is piece of cake as it don't require modern high tech equipment color combination etc as they need only piece of paper and rubber stamp.!!!
Also no one is going to complain to government about forgery of their product or compay will try to stop selling forgery product on eBay.
By selling forgery postal history philatelic material of King George or any other will not get any complain from any government.!!
Recently I saw King George stationary with Mahatma Gandhi address for sale for only $92.!! It's still available.!!
Don't you think it very cheap.?
I think this is low priced because It's either forgery or stamp collection is declining or both.!!
Don't you think that anyone can write address or type address and claim it is send to Mahatma Gandhi or any other famous person.!!
Also cancellation date stamp (rubber stamp) is not clear from where it is originated!! But this postal history of King George stamps stationary has receiving cancellation of New Delhi.!!
Don't you think this rubber stamp is also easy to make.!!
This was for sale on eBay by seller "planyourhobby" from India for $92 as buyitnow.
