Making Money on eBay by selling stamps collection.

Recently I saw Panama Gandhi stamps sold for $1 by eBay seller "cezaris.0457" from Lithuania.

We know Lithuania and other former soviet union countries are famous for making REPLICA stamp but also selling it at very low price so collector who don't have it then can be satisfied with replica.

But I know this replica stamps are also selling as GENUINE .!!

Do you think this Panama Gandhi stamp is REPLICA ?

Chances are very high as making money is everyone's motto !!!

It's nothing about stamp collection but how to make money by selling stamps on eBay.

This is one of the glorified Gandhi stamps and it's artificially created demand by hiding stamp by printer/dealer who sometimes work with government of smaller countries.

Panama stamp of Gandhi is one of the GLORIFIED stamp ( increase priced by illegal mean to make it famous.!!).

Following are some of the REPLICA stamps sold as genuine.!!

Now see some other eBay auction in past and you decide.

So what are chances of this Replica stamp selling as Mint or used stamp with forged rubber stamp?

I think REPLICA is way to go to make lot of money.!! Buy for $7 and sell for $2000 or $1750 or $800 or $200 buy using fake rubber stamp.!

But when you look at  eBay you see this British India stamp of King Edward selling in large quantity and I was surprised how this many stamps are available.

After going through all the images and going back my blog post I think some of them are not genuine stamps but it's FACSIMILE stamps which are nothing but forgery stamps of India 25 RS stamp issued in 1902 of King Edward stamp.

This King Edward KEVII 25 R stamp  is  SG 147 stamp in Stanley Gibbons and SC 76 in Scott Catalog.

It will be very hard to find mint stamp of India 1902 King Edward stamp - KEVII 25 Rupees  because it was lot of money in 1902.

99.99% of stamp collectors during that time cannot even seen that much money together.!! Also 99% King Edward collectors might not even seen GENUINE stamp in their life time because all you see is FORGERY in auction houses.

But this is good for eBay shareholders as they will get good commission on this sale from eBay/PayPal fees ($700-800 for following 9 transaction) if this are all genuine transaction.!!

But you can't believe this pricing as chances of Shill Bidding, Fake Bidding, Buyer don't pay to seller, Seller and Buyer open case to cancel purchases etc.

In past I wrote about all kind of FORGERY, BOGUS in India 25 RS stamp - 1902 King Edward stamp - KEVII 25 R stamp - India SG 147 SC 76 stamps.

Click to read it.

Following are some of the sold stamps on eBay in last 3-4 months. Now think how many might be sold in last 5 years.!!! (more than 300.!!).

Seller                                   Price Sold

Anjulin                                   $2000
pristinephilateic                      $1750
s_faria                                      $800(appr)
bygonesofbridlingt                  $618
worldstamp22                          $504
collstamps                                $498
filer3rd                                     $435
beattle123                                $295
bcsomani                                  $175

So what do you think about this India 25 RS stamp isueed in 1902 of King Edward stamp - KEVII 25 R stamp - India SG 147 stamps ?

If you want to buy REPLICA or FACSIMILE from "ma-collectorshop" then click following link and you will find lot of RARE stamps. Why buy it have high price just buy it directly from him/her and apply any forged rubber stamp.!!

Read following link to understand what's going in this Panama stamps.

Detail research of Panama stamp

In past 3 years this stamp was sold from $137 - $50, even though it's price in stamp catalog was 60 cents.!! Yes only 60 cents.!!

Not sure how buyer were buying it and dealers were selling it.!!

3-4 months ago stamp catalog increased it's value to $60 and stamp is selling for $22 and that also with 19 bids.!!

So not sure what's going on.!!

Not sure whether facsimile stamp has enter in the market for this stamp too or it's actual price.!!

As we all know that this Panama stamp is also one of the glorified stamp with all kinds of dirty tricks such as SHILL bidding, Not paying to seller after increasing price etc.

Also we had seen BOGUS (never exist) first day cover, and some of the used cover which looks nothing but suspicious of using rubber stamp on simple cover were sold for unbelievable price.!!

So what do you think about his $22 price for this MNH (mint never hinged) stamp.!!

Do you think facsimile or replica stamps are selling instead of genuine.?

As this is white stamp it's very easy to forged as they don't have to worry about center of stamps as well as border or margin on both side.

On Jan 27, I saw same Panama stamp MNH was sold for $108.!!!

On Feb 9th, I saw another Panama stamp MNH sold for $52 with 3 bids on it.

So what do you think now!!

What is Right Price of Gandhi stamp.?

$22 or $108 or $52.!!

Or all 3 prices are wrong !!?

I think so.!!

It should not be more than $5 or $10.!!!

Then you might be thinking why it's selling for $22 or $108.!!

Welcome to Stamp collection !!

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2011/11/panama-gandhi-stamps-looks-like-gandhi.html

Now you will be thinking what is right price.

$21 or $46 or $52 or  $71 or $108 or $137.!!

Reason for this high price is

1) You don't need to pay if you win auction.!! if you are SHILL bidder.!!
2) If you are not SHILL bidder then also you don't have to pay if you just want to increase the price.!!

What you see is just glorified pricing, which are false hope of Riches.!!

Stay away from Gandhi stamps if you don't want surprises.!!

It's not INVESTMENT but it's a GAME.!!!

Yes it's a PHILATELIC GAME.!!

So now you know how to make money on eBay by selling stamps collection.!!

  • Shill bidding
  • Increase price by other stamp collectors friends.
  • Buyer don't pay after increasing price and winning it.

Used stamps value - stamps of famous people

Hello Gandhi stamp collector,

Recently I saw a USED stamps of Gandhi from Panama which were for auction for $115 , $71 and $25.!! I was surprised when I saw this used stamps value.

I don't think this PIECE OF PAPER is worth that much. It's nothing but glorified by keeping price high or shill bidding or not paying to seller after bidding high price.

Also claiming rare stamp or error stamp is nothing but imagination of their own.!!

In past I had seen MINT stamp selling for less than this price.!!! In Feb 2013 Mint stamp was sold for $22.!!  To me this $22 is also too much for this mint stamp as there are chances of SHILL bidding or Forgery stamps.!!

Following are details of USED stamps of Gandhi from Panama currently selling on eBay by some well known Gandhi stamps seller/dealers.

Sellers ------- Price
kad_ss ------- $71
ashindian -----$115
gdstamps -----$25

Who in the world will pay this much price.!! Don't you think it's just glorification of Gandhi stamp even though he is one of the famous people in philately world.!!

So what do you think about this Used stamp from Panama.

How much you will pay for this USED stamp ?

Someone paid $27 for used panama stamps.

Don't you think selling price is kept higher in order to glorify.?

Read my following blog post about Panama stamps.

8) PANAMA GANDHI STAMPS : ONE OF THE HIGHLY INFLATED PRICE IN STAMP COLLECTION.!!!

After reading all the above I think you will agree with me about pricing of this stamps.

I will not pay more than $3-5  for any used stamps of Gandhi from Panama because it's available in plenty.!! Also it is not rare or very old stamps or very rare stamps so it should not be priced collection.

Also FORGERY of stamps specially in used stamp collection is very high because collector will not think that it's forged, so beware of it. It just required a rubber stamp to make it used stamp from forgery stamp.!!

Thanks

Panama Stamps - Stamp Value

Hello Gandhi stamp collectors,

Stamp valuation is in mind of every buyer or seller, collector or dealer.

But I am not sure how to calculate value of stamps and whom to believe.!! Reason for this is that recently I saw Panama stamp of Gandhi which was sold for $22.!!

Panama stamp of Gandhi is one of the GLORIFIED stamp ( increase priced by illegal mean to make it famous.!!).

Read following link to understand what's going in this Panama stamps.

Stamps of Panama

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

Recently I saw rare Gandhi stamp of Panama (hidden stamp) used on commercial cover sent to Guatemala.

It has 3 stamps of Gandhi along with one more other stamp in front. You all know how difficult is to get this stamp and still cover was sold for $178.!!!

In past similar cover with 3 Gandhi stamp send to Germany was sold for $500+!! Don't know why this
one was sold only for $178.!!

Do you think Gandhi Philatelic material value is declining ? or it's as correct value or it is still INFLATED price ?

But your guess is my guess and you might be thinking same way I am thinking that it's not worth to invest in Register USED cover or commercial used cover as chances of getting FORGERY rubber stamp is very high, because it's very easy to make this kind of rubber stamp and don't have to worry about any punishment from law agency around the world.!!

We all know how things are in Gandhi Philately.!! Almost everything is forgery.!! We had seen all kinds of forgery whether it's stamps, used cover, special cancellation etc so it's nothing knew to most of us.

But it might help to other philatelist, so be carefully when you buy any used covers as it's easy to make old used covers.

I am not sure about following cover is Forged or Genuine as I don't have detail for panama cancellation or I had not seen similar cancellation on any Panama covers in 1972. As soon as I will know I will update it.

Till then you buyer's need to decide this as they have to pay.!!!

Following is research how it was sold and whom it was sold and who were other bidders.!!

Now compare this cover with which one sold in 2010.!!

$177 cover is even registered cover where as one sold for $521 is just regular used cover.

So why value of Gandhi philatelic material is declining.?

Read some of interesting blog post to see how CHEATERS are working to get your money by selling forgery or Bogus gandhi stamps.!!

1) Philatelic FAKE and FORGERIES.
2) FAKE AERO PHILATELY Covers.
3) Stamp collection CHEATING.

8) World First Flight Cover

Or still it is a very high priced (inflated price)!!

PANAMA STAMPS

Hello Gandhi Collector,

This is my 7th blog post about Panama stamp of Gandhi because it is one of the most GLORIFIED stamp of Gandhi. Just # of blog post will explain you how much glorified is Panama stamp.!! Following are other 6 blog post about Panama stamp of Gandhi.

Some times I also wonder is this similar to facsimile or copy stamp of Gandhi (FAKE or Forged) because who knows whether it was actually printed with permission of government of Panama. I am not sure but this is my extreme thinking after looking what's going in GANDHI philately.!!

Recently I saw Panama Gandhi stamp for sale at fixed price of $60, but after through investigation it looks there are no buyer for this stamps since last 4 months.!!

Don't know why no BUYER for this Panama stamps even though in past this stamp were sold for high price.

Until now scott catalog value was only 60 cents but just recently upgrade to $60!! Not sure what scott catalog was doing all this years.!!

But in past I saw this stamp selling from $80-140 but according to me it's all BOGUS bidding to glorify this stamp from Panama.!!

Not sure why but in June 2011 Panama Gandhi MNH c384 stamp was sold for $137.!! What a return on investment on 10 Panama Cents in 40 years in  US dollars.

I think this is best ROI on Gandhi stamps except 1948 India Mahatma Gandhi 10 Rupees Service(only 100 stamps printed) which does not count as it was not for general public postage stamp or available for collectors or dealers as it was only available or made to use  by 1 person and that person was 1st Governor General of India.

This particular stamp is kind of rare (in someone's closet!!) and it demands premium but this was sold for double the amount I saw in last 2 years.

Also you know that Panama used to outsource there stamps to Printers/Dealers who used to provide them stamps to Panama postal department and dealers were selling worldwide to collectors.!! same way like we are seen for small countries in Africa.

Again it's is upto collector how much they want to pay. So it is on collector's hand about valuation of this stamp. I don't have MNH stamp and never want to buy this even if someone is selling cheap because I don't want to support this kind of business. I have used stamp for which I paid 10-15$ only which I bought it 2 years ago.

Now let see do some research on this auction. Let me make sure all information is taken from public information available. This is similar to people collect information about housing price sold in USA which publish every week.(zillow.com is using that complied list, what price it sold, last sale etc.).

Date Sold: Jun 08 2011
Seller : docnik(10606 feedback) from USA
Buyer: airpostman(528 feedback) from USA and ebay member since 1998.

Also look at airpostman   feedback of 2011. Click following link to see Feedback of airpostman (a big time buyer from "docnik" !!

After looking all this screen shot and looking at URL, what do you think about this stamp price.? Is it Reasonable or High.??

Following blog post is all about FAKE, Forgery , SHILL Bidding, Cheating etc. going in philatelic world not only in Gandhi stamps but also British India stamps as well as all around the world.

1) Error stamp in India : FORGERY in error stamp.!!
2) Olympic and Einstein stamp from Nicaragua selling under $1.!!
3) Is stamp printing as well as Quality Assurance is that bad in India because of lot of ERROR stamps.!!
4) International Philatelic Exhibition : Are full of FAKE and Forgery.!!
5) Great Britain Forgery of used cover.
6) British India King George Stationary is Genuine or Forgery !!
7) King George post card with Mobile post office or walking post office.!!

There are more than 300 blog post just about any possibilities in Philatelic collection so please read throughly and understand about my research.

Before you buy think about one of the  possibilities and if you don't get any suspicious thought then buy it other wise you will REGRET whole your life.!!

Panama Stamps : A true story of cover with 3 Panama Gandhi Stamps : How some one can use 3 very RARE stamps on commercially cover.!!

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

In May 2010 auction of 1972 Panama Gandhi stamps cover with 3 Gandhi stamps was sold for 521.85 US dollars.!!!

But looking to overall picture of Gandhi stamps and philately don't you think it's easier to make this  cancellation (rubber stamp).!! So Beware of this kind of activity.

Following are different ways to make money by selling stamps on Internet.

1) Make money by selling SPECIMEN postcard
2) Make money by making RUBBER stamp
3) Make money by selling TRIAL PROOF waste by stealing it or by art using Photoshop.
4) Make money by selling FORGERY stamps
5) Make money by selling FORGED special cancellation from different cities.
6) Make money by selling FORGERY stamps as GENUINE.
7) Make money by selling BOGUS - never exist special cancellation
8) Make money by selling LABELS - forgery or bogus
9) Make money by selling FAKE or BOGUS First Flight Cover FFC
10 ) Make money by OVERPRINTING stamps.!!

Previously I saw Gandhi Panama Stamp cover with only one stamps which were sold somewhere around $50-80 but this is unique as it has 3 stamps.!! This cover was send to Germany where as all previous cover were either send to Mexico or Guatemala.

Not sure why this commercially used cover needs 3 stamps and also all 3 Gandhi stamps as this make me suspicious because this stamps are not easily available during that time and some one is using it for commercially.!!

It makes me think twice because why someone will used on commercially used cover.!!

Not sure whether this is Genuine Cover because it's very easy to apply this very simple rubber stamp which can be made easily and we all see that in Gandhi Philately.  USED cover are forged so   it can get higher value than MINT stamps. You even cannot read properly from this rubber stamp except year.!!

I am not expert, but this is just my opinion or view on this cover after looking all FAKE, Forgeries, Gimmick etc in Gandhi Stamps used cover, but it's buyer choice as he/she has to pay.!!

Related Previous Blog post:-

1) Is it make sense to collect commercially used covers ?
2) What a price difference in Panama Gandhi stamps.
3) Panama Gandhi FDC : Is it real or FAKE!! ?
4) Highly INFLATED price in Panama Gandhi stamps.

On ebay or delcampe Panama Gandhi stamp MNH is sold somewhere between 50-70 US dollars so this cover has higher ROI.

This will be one of the most expensive used cover I had seen in last 18 months other than 1948 Gandhi stamp with 10 Rupees stamps from India.

Previous one was Cameroun cover sold for 450+ US dollars.

Following is the screen shot of the bidders, which indicates last 3 bidders are  mcphila, speedbird1* and coolblue1955.

Looks like there was a great interest in buying this cover as 3 bidders were bidding 500+ US dollars.!! and two of them are regular bidder or seller.!!

All information are available to everyone using eBay publicly available tools such as feedback, search by buyer and keeping eyes open on each and every auction related to Gandhi Stamps.!!

Winner :- mcphila
 2nd last bidder :- speedbird1*
3rd last bidder :- coolblue1955

This blog post is only for future reference for new collectors to know what other collectors are collecting other than MNH Gandhi Stamps & FDC or FFC, so there is no research or other information about cover or stamp (no brainer).

And one more thing that I will never buy this Panama Gandhi stamp cover along with 10 Rupees Gandhi stamp cover because it does not make sense. This is my passive resistance!!

So when the price is high (expensive) it needs to be make sure that you are not getting any facsimile, fake cancellation or getting ripped off by shill bidding  same way it's happening in Gandhi Stamps and Philatelic material.

Please read following series of my blog post  to understand what is going on stamp collecting world specially in Indian Philatelic materials.

Again thanks for reading this blog post and  Please share your thoughts in the comments section.

Gandhi Stamps from Panama : 5 Question about Panama commerical used cover with Gandhi Stamps : IS IT MAKES SENSE TO COLLECT COMMERICAL USED COVER?

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

According to me 1971 Panama Gandhi stamp is next glorified (falsely!!) stamps after 1948 Gandhi India stamps.

Following are some of my blog post about Panama Gandhi stamps which will explain glorification of Panama Gandhi stamp.

1) What a price difference in Panama Gandhi stamps.
2) Panama Gandhi FDC : Is it real or FAKE!! ?
3) Highly INFLATED price in Panama Gandhi stamps.

I think it does not make sense at all to collect commercial used cover because chances of forgery are very high because it can be made any time by just making rubber stamp or by changing date on rubber stamp from current post office.

I can still agree with special cancellation as it will be for limited time but chances  of that forgery is high too.

Also chances of fake stamps used on cover is also very high.

SO IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO COLLECT COMMERCIALLY USED COVER.

My personal opinion or view for this cover  will BURN you if you buy it because authenticity of this cover due to following 5 questions.

1) Very hard to determine that this cover is indeed travel to Guatemala or even mailed from Panama.!!
2) We all had seen forgery in Gandhi stamps and covers so it's nothing new that how easy it is to make a rubber stamp and applied on stamp to make a used cover and even on USED stamps.!!
3) Where is the receiving cancellation date stamps on cover from Guatemala.? (It's easy to make one.!!)
4) Why we see only see cover with Gandhi stamps send to Progress Institute in Guatemala.!! Don't they have other stamps ?
5) Also I compared above cover send to Progress Institute with other similar cover and to me it looks like it has lot of similarity including hand writing, type of cancellation etc!! as if only person is sending it to them.

I don't know about authenticity of this cover as I don't have one or seen in real so I am telling that it's forgery or fake and I don't consider myself as an expert in stamps or philatelic materials but I can still think and guess and make assumption and express my view about it.!!

But after reading all my assumption about this coverdon't you think this cover will BURN you.!!!

If you are not convinced then please read some of my following blog posts and see what kinds of things are going in Gandhi Philately which will satisified you or make you think about my assumption or you can have your assumption or view about this cover.

3) Forged 1948 Gandhi Mourning first day cover.(different way to mourn.!!)

So after reading all or some of the blog don't you agree with my assumption.

Still doubt about yourself !!

Then please read some of my classic research blog post and think more about it.

1) 1948 Gandhi Stamps and Philatelic material are False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Expensive Gandhi FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part IV?
4) 1948 Gandhi Stamps Early Usage cover :  Gandhi Stamps Are False hope of Riches - Part V?
5) Maxi Card sold for $5100 with 1948 Gandhi Stamps - False hope of Riches - Part VI?
6) Indian Philately Exposed
7) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II

I hope now you agree with me.!! (that Gandhi stamps and Philatelic material are all BOGUS!!)

If you don't agree  then it's your money so buy Panama Gandhi cover.!! and be proud owner and brag about it, write and display in exhibit and pass it to next generation.!!

PANAMA GANDHI STAMPS : ONE OF THE HIGHLY INFLATED PRICE IN STAMP COLLECTION.!!!

Hello Gandhi Stamps Collectors,

Panama Gandhi stamp is one of the expensive (inflated) Gandhi stamps after ten rupees 1948 Gandhi Stamps from India.

In past this stamp was sold from $137 - $47 which according was highly inflated. You can read my previous blog post about this and understand what's going on.

Now recently I saw this Panama Gandhi stamp is selling from FIXED price of $60.!!! So I am not sure what previous buyer's feeling about his purchase (cheated by others or fooled others.!!) who bought this stamp for $137.!!!!!!

But this is PART of Gandhi stamp collection.!!!!!!!!

REGRET ......!! if genuine buyer!!

JOY...............!! if fooled other.!!

http://delcampe.net/page/item/id,187831853,var,Panama-Selections-Scott-C384-MH-10c-Mahatma-Gandhi-VERY-SCARCE-CV$60,language,E.html

But more interesting thing is that SCOTT catalog value recently increased from 60 cents to $60.!!  so what was SCOTT catalog company doing since last 40 years. ?

How we can trust SCOTT catalog value.!!! They did not update their catalog or Panama Gandhi stamp is highly inflated and they were not aware of this "Philatelic GAME!!"

Yes it's a Philatelic GAME not Hobby anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to play not collect.!!

I am surprised that there are no buyer at $60 for this Panama Gandhi stamp even though used Panama Gandhi stamps (YES, USED) is selling from  $70 - 150 (4050 - 8000 Indian Rupees) on eBay India (following screenshot)  and Mint is selling for $180 (9500 Indian Rupees).!!!

Don't you think it's INFLATED.? which makes me think about Glorification of Gandhi Stamps.!! so it's true that Gandhi stamps are FALSE HOPES of RICHES.

http://www.ebay.in/sch/i.html?_nkw=panama+gandhi&_sacat=169977&_odkw=panama+gandhi&_osacat=169977&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

1) What a price difference in Panama Gandhi stamps.
2) Panama Gandhi Cover with 3 stamps. Expensive Gandhi used cover.
3) Panama Gandhi FDC : Is it real.!! ?

If you ever buy this stamp for more then 10-20$( this is also expensive or you will inflate it.!!) then chances are you will quit Gandhi Philately, because it is too expensive as still there are lot of hidden Panama Gandhi stamps which will come in market in next 50 years and you will start loosing value instead of appreciating.  Let the dealer and reseller try to protect their Panama stamps and accumulate for us.!!

Please read following series of my blog post  to understand what is going on stamp collecting world specially in Indian Philatelic materials and you will think it's all BOGUS.!! Yes it's all BOGUS.!!

Panama Gandhi Stamps : Looks like Gandhi stamp value is declining.!!

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Panama Gandhi stamp is one of the rarely available stamp but recently I see lot of them on ebay auction sites.

Do you think Gandhi stamps are really for investment?

Recently MNH Panama Gandhi stamp was sold for $46.!!  Ofcourse it is lot of money for just 10 panama cents stamps issued in1971, but compare to last 2 auction this is a good buy.

Seller : docnik
Buyer : veerumbm
Date sold : Nov 15, 2011
Price :- $47

Seller : hawaiirocks!
Buyer : dsmckeel
Price : $71
Date : Jun 26, 2011

Seller : docnik
Buyer : airpostman
Date : Jun 08, 2011
Price $137

So if you see last 3 transaction, it sold for $137, $71 and $46 dollars which is 35-40% less then previous auction.

Don't know at what price it will end but looking to trend it looks like next one will be $25-30 or may be less.

If you want to read more about Panama Gandhi stamps then please check out following blog post.
1) What a price difference in Panama Gandhi stamps.
2) Panama Gandhi Cover with 3 stamps. Expensive Gandhi used cover.
3) Panama Gandhi FDC : Is it real.!! ?

If you ever buy this stamp for more then 10-20$ then chances are you will quit Gandhi Philately, because it is too expensive as still there are lot of hidden Panama Gandhi stamps which will come in market in next 50 years and you will start loosing value instead of appreciating.  Let the dealer and reseller try to protect their Panama stamps and accumulate for us.!!

And when it comes there will be not that many Gandhi Collectors to buy all that stamps same way what's going on currently in Nicaragua Gandhi Einstein TajMahal stamp sheet. In this case it's only Gandhi so it will go down faster than Nicaragua Gandhi stamps.!!

BTW: I don't have this in MNH and used one I bought it was very cheap.

Thanks
