Panama Gandhi Stamps : Looks like Gandhi stamp value is declining.!!

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Panama Gandhi stamp is one of the rarely available stamp but recently I see lot of them on ebay auction sites.

Do you think Gandhi stamps are really for investment?

Recently MNH Panama Gandhi stamp was sold for $46.!!  Ofcourse it is lot of money for just 10 panama cents stamps issued in1971, but compare to last 2 auction this is a good buy.

Seller : docnik
Buyer : veerumbm
Date sold : Nov 15, 2011
Price :- $47

Seller : hawaiirocks!
Buyer : dsmckeel
Price : $71
Date : Jun 26, 2011

Seller : docnik
Buyer : airpostman
Date : Jun 08, 2011
Price $137

So if you see last 3 transaction, it sold for $137, $71 and $46 dollars which is 35-40% less then previous auction.

Don't know at what price it will end but looking to trend it looks like next one will be $25-30 or may be less.

1) What a price difference in Panama Gandhi stamps.
2) Panama Gandhi Cover with 3 stamps. Expensive Gandhi used cover.
3) Panama Gandhi FDC : Is it real.!! ?

If you ever buy this stamp for more then 10-20$ then chances are you will quit Gandhi Philately, because it is too expensive as still there are lot of hidden Panama Gandhi stamps which will come in market in next 50 years and you will start loosing value instead of appreciating.  Let the dealer and reseller try to protect their Panama stamps and accumulate for us.!!

And when it comes there will be not that many Gandhi Collectors to buy all that stamps same way what's going on currently in Nicaragua Gandhi Einstein TajMahal stamp sheet. In this case it's only Gandhi so it will go down faster than Nicaragua Gandhi stamps.!!

BTW: I don't have this in MNH and used one I bought it was very cheap.

Thanks
Ketankumar Patel.

Update :- Buyer for Panama stamps from "hawaiirocks!" is "dsmckeel"

Update :- Bidder list for Panama stamps from "docnik" to "veerumbm"

What a difference in price of Panama Gandhi stamp. What a Price decline in a very short time.

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Why we are seeing steep difference in Gandhi Philately. Following is one example of Panama 1971 Gandhi stamp.

On 6/28/11 Panama Gandhi stamp was sold for 71.

On 6/8/11 similar stamp was sold for $137.

My previous post about Panama Gandhi stamp sold for $137.

So now I am not sure what is the Right Value of this stamp. Is it 71 or 137?

But I will only buy this when it is selling for cheap i.e. about 15-20$, but still it will be very high price for artificially increased  price by getting all stamps from the market in 1971 from a very small country and we all are chasing for this or getting trapped or fooled. It's up to us to decide!!

I think price will go down one day, when original accumulator (not collector) will don't have control of it. Same way we are seeing this in Nicaragua Gandhi & TajMahal Stamp sheet, Overprint Gandhi stamps from Cameroon, Nicaragua, Togo etc.

Want to know more about FAKE and FORGERY stamps then checkout other blog post click one of the following link and you will be surprised.!!!

Is this Real Panama Gandhi 1971 FDC or One more rubber stamp?

Hello Gandhi collector,

Recently we all saw Gandhi Panama FDC on ebay selling for 525 dollars, though no body bought it !!.

Also I had never seen it selling on ebay in last 2+ years or any reference in Gandhi Philatelic materials.

Read and compare my following blog post about  BOGUS FORGED Gandhi stamps and philatelic cancellation with rubber stamp applied on piece of paper or envelope and trying to MAKE huge money instead of selling just MINT stamps or making BOGUS or Forgery philatelic material, which are sold from $100 -$1000. Also some are selling for more than $15000+!!!

Do you think it's PANAMA Gandhi stamps first day cover is Genuine?

I don't think so. It's a way to make money.!!

But after doing more research on Panama FDC I am confused as I can't find any details of this FDC. So this is Real or one more Rubber stamp in Gandhi Philatelic world.!!

It was for sale by eBay seller "blue_guy_1234" from USA.

If anyone has more info about this FDC then please write a comment on this blog so all Gandhi collector will be aware of this.

If you want to read more about Panama Gandhi stamps then please check out following blog post.
1) What a price difference in Panama Gandhi stamps.
2) Panama Gandhi Cover with 3 stamps. Expensive Gandhi used cover.
3) Panama Gandhi stamp is highly inflated !! ?

If you ever buy this stamp for more then 10-20$( this is also expensive or you will inflate it.!!) then chances are you will quit Gandhi Philately, because it is too expensive as still there are lot of hidden Panama Gandhi stamps which will come in market in next 50 years and you will start loosing value instead of appreciating.  Let the dealer and reseller try to protect their Panama stamps and accumulate for us.!!

So do you think Panama Gandhi Stamps are highly inflated ? and chances are Scott Catalog will again modify it's catalog.!!

Thanks

BTW: I know most of you know about this but I am writing for future Gandhi collector so they can read & see this information which may be useful to them, otherwise it will be like 1969 Gandhi cancellation.!!
