Gandhi stamps collection has any value - Stamp selling on eBay

Gandhi Stamps is one of the popular topic in stamp collection or philately.

But do you really think Gandhi Stamps deserve this kind of value?

I don't think it has any value but if you see price on online auction site such as ebay or even on famous physical international auction site it mind blogging.

Reason for it don't deserve value is because

1) It is artificially created by physically auction site as they are looking for their own commission.
2) Online auction site anyone can increase the value and make it like it's in high demand and high value by SHILL bidding. (seller increase price by their other accounts, as it don't require any PII or credit card info to open account).
3) You can list on Ebay at any price as you don't have to pay anything. (no upfront cost).
4) Even seller will buy with other account and don't pay to seller!!! Seller will open case for non paying buyer and Ebay will not charge anything to seller.

Who collects stamps this days!!!

Even older collectors are dieing and they don't spend this kind of money as they know what's going on this Industry(it's not hobby, but to make money by cheating collectors!)

Also there are more FAKE stamps than genuine stamps.

Also there are more FAKE philately material as it's to make RUBBER stamp and apply on any old cover which you find in stamps exhibit.

Following are recently sold stamps from "cooksontour", "scindedawk"etc.

"Are Gandhi Stamps FALSE hope of Riches?"

To understand above quote please read my previous blog post on this series.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?
4)  All Gandhi stamps!!!

Do you think following Gandhi stamps or philately material still available on ebay  deserve this value!

I don't think so about following high priced Gandhi stamps?

So what do you think?

Thanks

Gandhi stamps sell for £500,000 - Gandhi SERVICE stamps

We know only from news article that Gandhi stamps sell for £500,000 in auction.

But do you really think it is sold in auction?

If really sold  then do seller pay tax on profit they made on auction?

Do anyone know who is seller (except auction house).

How government will find out who is seller and get tax?

What do you think about this Gandhi stamps sell for £500,000 ?

Is it genuine auction sell or fake one(no one paid and buyer took stamp back).

Do anyone know that tax was paid on this Gandhi stamps sell for £500,000?

According to me and my research(you don't have to believe me) that this Gandhi SERVICE 10 Rupees was never overprinted by C. Rajagopalchari. Check following link

It's just BOGUS(never overprinted officially and used by Rajagopalchari).

This stamp is marketed as rare stamp. (Rajagopalchari will never make rear).

This stamp is marketed as send to Queen of England (Rajagopalchari or any Indain freedom fighter will not send anything to Queen or anyone in England).

But some one is paying  £500,000. It's good. Now seller needs to pay tax and buyer needs to be aware when they sell it as they also have to pay tax on profit(capital gain tax) they makes.

You can get overprint stamp for $5-20. Ofcourse stamp is FAKE and OVERPRINT is BOGUS.

YOU CAN BUY THIS GENUINE OVERPRINT STAMP FOR $10-20.

SO WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS GANDHI SERVICE STAMP?

BOGUS?

GENUINE?

TAX ON PROFIT WAS PAID?

DID AUCTION SITE REPORTED THIS TRANSACTION TO GOVERNMENT SO THEY CAN COLLECT TAX?

THANKS

1948 Gandhi stamps FDC from Pondhicherry

Recently 1948 India Gandhi stamp FDC from Pondicherry  sold for $4800 from Singapore ebay seller "straits_collections"

This is forgery as Pondicherry was never part of India until 1963. Before that it was under French rule.

So someone just created RUBBER STAMP and applied on first day cover with stamps(Chance of 10 Rupees Gandhi stamp will be also forgery)

There are more than 50 forgery/fake rubber stamps for Jai Hind  from different Indian cities so beware if you are collecting that.

All are fake (never issued officially by Government of India).

God know what happen in 1948!

Read following blog post so you understand what's going on.

Following is from wikipedia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Puducherry#The_end_of_the_French_rule

The independence of India in 1947 gave impetus to the union of France's Indian possessions with former British India. An agreement between France and India in 1948 stipulated that the inhabitants of France's Indian possessions would choose their political future.

The de jure union of French India with the Indian Union did not take place until 1962. On a de facto basis, the bureaucracy had been united with India's on 1 November 1954. It was organized as a Union Territory in 1963. Puducherry is now a part of India.

Sellers description  as Superb Exhibition piece!!

Pondicherry or Puducherry is a city, an urban agglomeration and a municipality in Pondicherry district in the Indian union territory of Puducherry. It is affectionately known as Pondy, and has been officially known by the alternative name Puducherry since 2006.

French influence.

The City of Pondicherry have recorded history after the advent of the Colonial Powers like the Dutch, Portuguese, English and the French. Though nearby places like Arikamedu, Ariyankuppam, Kakayanthoppe, Villianur, Bahur which were annexed by the French East India Company over a period of time and which became the Union Territory of Pondicherry after Independence have history predating the Colonial History.

The French acquired Puducherry in 1674 and held control, with occasional interruption from the British and Dutch, until 1954 (de jure in 1956), when it was incorporated into the Indian Union along with the rest of French India.

But some is buying for $4800!!

It may be Shill bidding(seller may be using other account or some collector is helping to increase price or buying it and not paying to seller. Seller gets commission back  from ebay!)

So beware of Gandhi stamps

Tibet stamps - Genuine or Forgery or Bogus envelope ? Make money on eBay is easy.!

Tibet stamps are very popular on eBay as it can be sold as rare and unique.

Recently I saw envelope or cover from Tibet with India 1902 stamps from Leh to Sweden sold as Tibe Sven Hedin Expedition cover. This is currently available for $5000 from eBay seller "cmcstamps" from Santa Clara California.

We all know what's going in stamp collection now a days.

DESPERATION to sell their FAKE and FORGERY philatelic material as day by day everyone knows and no one is interested.

Following are some of the classic BOGUS (never exists or issue) stamps and philatelic material.

1948 Indian Gandhi stamps used in Tibet
Nepal Indian Embassy Cancellation on 1948 Gandhi Stamps
Early usage of 1948 Gandhi stamps
FAKE 1948 Gandhi stamp FDC from India.
Gandhi SERVICE stamp is it REAL or FAKE?

Anyone collect stamps ?

Anyone will pay $5000 for this stamp cover ?

Is it genuine ?

To me answer for all this is NO.

Because no one collect stamps anymore.

There is no way to prove it's genuine because no one knows what happen.

I can create rubber stamp of CDS and apply on any old cover and start selling it.

I can search for old envelope in stamp dealer or seller in exhibition and apply this rubber stamp.

No one will notice this as no one has seen it except me.

Even stamp expert certificate have no idea what's going on and they will think it's as genuine and get there money.!

So what do you think about this TIBET stamps philatelic material ?

Genuine or Bogus ?

Will you pay $5000 ?

or will you make one and sell it ?

Thanks

1948 India Gandhi Stamp collection research expertising. Investment in stamp collection ?

Following are some of the expensive Gandhi stamps material sold on eBay.

This is for your research before you buy any 1948 Gandhi stamps from India as a stamp investment or as alternative investment other than gold or share/stock or real estate property.

1) Are this genuine 1948 Gandhi stamps on the cover ?
2) Are this genuine Jai Hind special cancellation issued on 15 August 1948 ?(or rubber stamp)
3) Are this genuine CDS (cancellation date stamp) on the cover ?
4) Do you think this are really travelled to destination ?
5) Do you think this are really sold on eBay for this much money ?
6) Do you think eBay as well as PayPal got commission from this transaction?
7) Do you think local government got tax from this selling ?
8) Do you think any government got capital gain tax from this collectible item selling ?
9) and you need to come up with another 92 before you decide !!!

Please read my 700+ blog on Gandhi stamps and you have to decide because it's your money you will be investing.!

But my personal opinion (my certificate of stamp expertise) is all of this is FAKE or Forgery.!! It's my personal opinion as everyone opinion differ.

But my opinion is free not like BPA or RPLS where they charge money and they don't take any responsibility or liability even after issuing certificate.

Above eBay 8-9 transaction are $10000.!! for piece of paper.!!

Do you really think some one is spending this kind of money on 1948 India Gandhi stamp collection or philatelic hobby.

No one is collecting anything right now as no one has time because of lot of other activities in the world such as surfing on internet, watching Netflix or youtube or social media like facebook or tiktok or even watching TV and Movies and on top of that people are watching cricket or soccer or other sports.

But someone is buying it as per this transaction which is good for ebay(get commission 10%) and paypal (2-3%) and California and USA Federal Tax from capital gain tax on collectible items  or seller's country from where they are selling.

Also buyer country residence will get local tax where buyer reside as eBay as to collect tax.!!

Do you think all of them are getting money from this.? To me it will be about $2000 to $4000 depending on countries.

It's hard to tell as majority of stamp collection transaction are fake (never processed through) as buyer do SHILL bidding (bidding with other id) or friend will buy it for them and they cancel transaction.!!

But if you see on eBay there are lot of Gandhi stamps are sold and currently available.!!

And you might be thinking this selling price is genuine.?

So do your research as it's very easy to make this kind of postal cover as it only required some old postal envelope and rubber stamps.!!

Very easy way to make money on eBay or any other live auction or online auction by famous auction house.

So think before you invest in stamp.!!

I will never invest in stamp as alternative investment as there is no law or legal entity control's it.

Also there are very few investor to buy.

So stick with Gold or Share/Stocks or Real estate property.!!

Again it's your money.!!! so you can burn how ever you want to burn.

Thanks
GSC.

1948 Gandhi stamps from India on postal cover with delivery mark.! genuine or forgery stamps cover.?

Recently ebay seller 'dm_stamps" from Sunnyvale, California sold 1948 Gandhi stamp postal cover with Dely mark was sold for $2800 (or may be less as offer accepted).

Do you really think some one is spending this kind of money on stamp collection or philatelic hobby where all kind of collection is dead.

No one is collecting anything right now as no one has time because of lot of other activities in the world such as surfing on internet, watching Netflix or youtube or social media like facebook or tiktok or even watching TV and Movies and on top of that people are watching cricket or soccer or other sports.

But someone is buying it as per this transaction which is good for ebay(get commission 10%) and paypal (2-3%) and California and USA Federal Tax from capital gain tax on collectible items as well as local tax where buyer reside.

Do you think all of them are getting money from this.?

It's hard to tell as majority of stamp collection transaction are fake (never processed through) as buyer do SHILL bidding (bidding with other id) or friend will buy it for them and they cancel transaction.!!

But if you see on eBay there are lot of Gandhi stamps are sold and currently available.!!

And you might be thinking this selling price is genuine.?

So do your research as it's very easy to make this kind of postal cover as it only required some old postal envelope and rubber stamps.!!

Very easy way to make money on eBay or any other live auction or online auction by famous auction house.

Now look at following currently available stamps and postal cover or First day cover with 1948 Gandhi stamps from India.

If you have money and want to waste it then buy it.!! It's your money how you spend it.!!

So what do you think.

Are you going to buy Gandhi stamps ?

Thanks

Gandhi 1948 Pondicherry JaiHind Cancellation - FAKE (never issued)

Recently I  saw Gandhi 1948  Pondicherry JaiHind Cancellation selling for $4800.

As I mentioned in my past blog posts that Indian Post Office were not opened except some very big four cities on 15th August 1948 but we still Jai Hind cancellation from more than 100+ cities.

Read my past blog post and you will get some idea what's going on.!!

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2013/02/gandhi-stamps-and-1948-jai-hind-special.html

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2014/03/french-india-colonial-stamps.html

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2015/05/stamp-investment-its-cheating.html

It's nothing but FAKE. Some dealer(stamp collectors) thought about this and made rubber stamp and started marketing by online exhibit, submitting it to Gandhi Handbook and also various stamp exhibition.

Following is one of them from Pondicherry.  Not sure how they know only 5 is exist!!

It's lot of money involved in 1948 Gandhi stamps so there is more FAKE material than real one.!!

One can make money on FAKE material as it was never issued.

So Beware what you are collecting.!!

Some one will tell you to invest in stamps and get this kind of FAKE material so Beware.

Thanks

Forgery 1948 Gandhi Stamps First Day Cover from India with RPSL expert stamp certificate

Recently I saw on eBay INDIA 1948 GANDHI FIRST DAY COVER WITH NEW DELHI CANCELLATION, RPSL CERT. selling for $5000 by eBay seller "cmcstamps" from California but item is located outside USA.!!! Not sure this tax invasion or money laundering.!!

In past I wrote about Forgery and FAKE (not exist) CDS rubber stamp from different cities of India with 1948 Gandhi stamps FDC or cover.

Also I wrote about Forgery stamps of Gandhi issued in 1948 including SPECIMEN stamps and OVERPRINT SERVICE stamps.

But now I can see FORGERY FIRST DAY COVER also.

After looking in depth to me it looks like FORGERY. (don't have to . believe my opinion like expert certificate).

Reason for FORGERY is that First Day Cover (envelope) is misprinted.!!

I is missing in INDIAN.

But it still passed through Royal Philatelic Society Limited RPSL certificate committee. So who is right ?

Me or RPSL cert committee. ?

It's up to you to believe as it's your money.!!

Believe in yourself and decide whether it make sense to invest in Gandhi Stamps.?

My opinion about Gandhi stamp collection is nothing by overhyped by Stamp auctioneer and stamp dealers(collectors) by writing Handbook or by providing FAKE (never exist) philatelic material to Handbook.

You cannot even trust Handbook as you have to believe in yourself.

NOT SURE RPSL CERTIFICATE IS ALSO FORGERY ?

YOU NEED TO DECIDE.!!

IN PAST WE HAD SEEN LOT OF FORGERY EXPERT CERTIFICATE NOT ONLY FROM RPSL OR BPA BUT ANY EXPERT.

ALSO ANYONE CAN GIVE EXPERT CERTIFICATE AS THERE IS NO LEGAL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT IN ANY COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD WHO MONITOR THIS CERTIFICATE.

TO ME EXPERT CERT. IS TO MAKE YOU FOOL.!!

Even First day covers without stamps are selling for $40.

Which also looks FORGERY.

So avoid Gandhi Stamp collection otherwise you will regret all your life. (Like me.!!)

Thanks
GSC.

Mahatma Gandhi's 150th Birth Anniversary - Beware of stamp scam on this date - October 2nd.

Today is 150th Mahatma Gandhi's brith anniversary.

There will be lot of celebration around the world but no one is actually working on spreading his message.

Everyone want to make fame out of that event.!!

But some cheaters will try to make money(lot of!!) out of it also.!!

But beware if you are stamp collector or stamp Philatelist as there will be lot of scam to make money.!!

Following is one of the famous scam happened on this date. Famous rubber stamp cancellation from Winnenden Germany. ( Schwaikheim, Germany) and was selling for $100 -$500 or more with FAKE bidding process.!!

Now let's see the price of Gandhi Stamp from USA issued in 1961. It's selling under $3 after almost 58 years.

This is current valid postage which is selling below it's par value.!!

4 cents x 70 stamps = 280 cents
8 cents x 70 stamps = 560 cents.

So it was sold for less even after 58+ years.!!

No one collect Gandhi stamps or Gandhi philatelic material in this modern age.!!

Thanks

GANDHI HANDBOOK - MANIK JAIN & M K RAY - A stamp and philatelic handbook review

Recently I saw Gandhi Handbook by Manik Jain and M.K.Ray sold for $40.!

After one of the famous 1948 Gandhi  stamp collector recommended to buy this book to start my Gandhi stamps and philatelic collection, but if I have followed this book it would be disaster to me because I might have lost lot of money.!

As per him this book is consider as bible of Gandhi stamps and philatelic material.!!

But I used my brain and thought about all that things inside this Gandhi Handbook and it does not make sense.

Also there are names of other stamp collectors or philatelist who did not say any word about this incorrect information or forgery material or stolen material or BOGUS (never exist) material in it.

Not only that they also provided material to this book.!!!

But no one know who provided which stamps or philatelic material!!

It's all suspense.

Now I know why he recommended this.!! (To collect all forgery material and Bogus material he had made with cartel !! and exhibited online and around the world.).

I own this book for 5+ years and I though let me write review of this book like Amazon.
  • This is a USELESS book - because it has nothing but lot of  FORGERY material published.
  • Even some basic information about used covers or special cancellation are INCORRECT.
  • This book  collection of forgery covers made by  various collectors who has given to authors to publish in this book and looks like it's not verified whether this are genuine or forgery?

Does it make sense to buy this book ?

No

Will this help to start Gandhi stamp collection ?

No. (Don't buy 1948 Gandhi stamps and IMPERF stamps  or stamps and FDC printed after 1969.)

Will I recommend this book to a friend ?

No. (Only if I want to sell my  forgery or bogus philatelic material which are printed in this book).

Which are some of the FAMOUS philatelic material in the book does not make sense.?

  • List is very long. Almost 70% of philatelic material don't make sense, such as

  1. Gandhi SERVICE stamp
  2. Gandhi SERVICE stamp used by Governor General
  3. 1948 Gandhi stamp Special Cancellation with "Jai Hind" issued from various cities of India.
  4. 1948 Gandhi FDC from Nepal Indian Embassy
  5. 1948 Gandhi Specimen stamp
  6. 1948 Gandhi leather Gandhi Folder
  7.  I AM TIRED OF TYPING ALL FORGERY AND BOGUS.!!

DON'T COLLECT GANDHI STAMPS OR INDIA STAMPS so you will be safe.!!

Also don't follow any online Gandhi stamp exhibit. It is also nothing but display of Forgery and FAKE philatelic items, but they are award winning exhibit.!!

Philatelic judges use this Gandhi Handbook as no one know what happened in 1948 or 1949 or 1950.!!

You don't have to follow my review and you can do what ever you want to do. Above is my personal opinion.

Thanks
GSC.

Making Money by selling on eBay - Stamp collection at it best - First Aerial Post 1911 - Henri Pequet

We know how famous & experienced  stamp collectors make fool (cheat) to new collector by making interesting philatelic material to make money (making living on stamps).

They make FAKE philatelic material with making fake rubber stamp and make it famous by

  • Stamp exhibit
  • Writing in stamp magazine
  • Writing book about it
  • Online stamp exhibit (after internet)
  • Writing in Blog, stamps forum and  stamp weekly/monthly newsletter.
  • Making a big news about it and publish it in paper after 50 or 100+ years.
  • Writing to Wikipedia.
  • Donating to famous museum.
  • Giving it to stamp collector friend in foreign countries.
  • Making rubber stamps looks like special cancellation.
  • Getting old envelope and using them to create FAKE philatelic material using rubber stamp.
  • Give speech at stamp exhibition
  • Give speech at embassy and during new stamp inauguration with politician.
  • Work with Post & Telegraph department to make stamp of that FAKE philatelic material. (Yes this also possible, as P&T department has no idea about past stamps.! and they believe in them.!! and the FAKE book they wrote.!! and of course politician connection and bribery.!!)

Even though it was very difficult to fly airplane in 1911 (as barely there were road in small villages at that time and right now also to transport plane on heavy trucks) they are very famous without and Photo or Film coverage.!!

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2018/04/first-aerial-mail-from-allahabad-1911.html (you can see video and photo of 1911The First UK Aerial Post Service Between Hendon and Windsor)

Also I wrote lot of other blog related to 1911 First Aerial Mail from Allahabad.

Even displayed on Smithsonian  philatelic museum , Washington DC, USA website.

https://postalmuseum.si.edu/collections/object-spotlight/india-air-mail.html

Now let's see following First Aerial Mail 1911 from Allahabad was sold on eBay by "asianstamp" for $355 with 44 bids on it.

Looks like lot of interest in stamp collection.!!!

You can see India even issued stamp for 1911 first aerial cancellation in 1961.

So what do you think about selling price of $355. ?

Is this real price or FAKE price.!!

FAKE price means buyer did not paid to seller and seller cancel transaction on eBay so don't have to pay commission to eBay.

Do you think FIRST AERIAL MAIL is genuine ? Consider following and think.

  • Was it possible to send plane from foreign countries to all the way interior part of India.
  • Was it possible to send plane on train and then to POLO ground ?
  • Was it possible to fly plane from POLO ground ?
  • Was it possible to land plane at Naini Junction ?
  • Was it possible to create runway in Naini Junction with Jail convit.?
  • Was it possible to fly plane at 4:30  or 5:30 PM in the evening in February when . sun set early. (God know what was actual time. It differs depending on who is the exhibitor because it never happened!!)
  • Was it possible to carry 6500 letters or 6000 letters on plane. ? (famous collector differs on # of letters.)
  • Do you think 200-300 pounds of letters were carried on the plane at that time.!!
  • Was it possible that single postal employee can carry all this letter ?
  • Why Magenta color was used on Cancellation not black? Was it possible at that time ?
  • Even forgery of this is available in RED color.!!
  • Was it possible that million people watch this taking off and no one was there at landing sites.!!
  • NO DATE ON SPECIAL CANCELLATION !!

But it still happened.!

How ?

By making it famous using above by some stamp collectors.!!

Thanks
GSC.
