DODO stamps REGISTERED used stamp COVER - MAURITIUS postal department forgery ?

If you are not aware of things going in stamp collection than this blog post will help you.

In order to make money collector will create some unique philatelic material but mostly they will do this by FORGERY.

If you just sell stamps no one is going to buy it, but when you make unique covers with multiple stamps collector will buy it thinking it's genuine, but in real life it's a different story.

When it comes to postal used cover or used cover or register cover or private fdc (unofficial cachet or no cachet) 99.99% it's nothing but FORGERY.

Even some of the famous Gandhi stamps collectors were cheated by this cover.!! So BEWARE anything from Mauritius because rubber stamp can be applied on any cover.!!

Following is one of the classic example Philatelic Fake and Forgery in Gandhi stamp collection.

If you have not read my blog post about Mauritius 1969 Gandhi stamp forgery then click one of the following link so you can save your money.

After reading above blog post don't you think it's nothing but FORGERY.

Maker of this cover cheated with buyer who bought it in past by
  • shill bidding
  • selling FAKE material
  • making forgery of Mauritus rubber stamp (circular rubber stamp)
  • forgery of registration rubber stamp ?
Following is screenshot from eBay were seller "theobargain" is selling it for $30.!!

Do you think seller "theobargain" is genuine seller or he/she has multiple id in order to fool collectors? We had seen this in past and it's a common practice to seller/buyer has multiple eBay id (it's free to open account).

Don't you think it's very cheap compare to other covers ?

Don't you think it's unique because it has all 1969 Gandhi stamps, 2001 Gandhi Stamps and DODO stamps from Mauritius.

Even though it's register cover there is  no back stamp rubber stamp from UK.!!

So what do you think about this MAURITIUS stamps -  DODO stamps REGISTERED used stamp COVER - MAURITIUS postal department forgery ?

Forgery or Genuine ?

Do you think Mauritius Postal department has time and money to go after this kind of forgery?

BTW: - Stay away from any used covers because 99% it's forgery.!! It's a gimmick made by stamp exhibitors in order to make money.!!

Great Britain First Day Cover : Looks like people living on stamp ?

Great Britain was pioneer in defining stamps and this makes them pioneer in stamps collection also.

So there are lot of Great Britain stamps and Great Britain First Day Cover.

But stamp collection is declining like no one ever think about it which makes Great Britain First Day cover almost worthless.

In past I wrote blog post about Great Britain First Day Covers. Please read it and understand the pricing about it so it helps to know what's going on.

We all know that stamp collectors turned into dealers (small or big) are making their living or going on big vacation or spending money as it grows on tree.

But "money don't grow on tree", but it's accumulated through all illegal ways.!!

In stamp collection selling money is accumulated by small time or big dealers through

1) Shill Bidding
2) Buyer don't pay to seller
3) Seller show image of genuine item and sends you forgery items.

Recently I saw Great Britain First Day cover of Gandhi which was sold around $20 and I was surprised by this selling price so I decided let's see what's going on. ( I paid more than this for same cover from same seller.!!)

Seller : brianreeveauctions from Great Britain. ( In past I bought same FDC from him for high price)
buyer : b***e(3261) ---------------> bem240243

In past I bought same FDC from him for high  price.

Following is the bidding details.

Winner : b**e(3261). Click this link to see his detail bidding.

And you will see he is bidding on 346 auction and 891 bids in last 30 days.!!

Stamp collector don't spend this money or don't bid on this many auction.!!

So don't you think this is not a stamp collector but makes living on stamp by bidding it and buying it.!!

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=371038750449&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565

So as a curious I decided to use eBay search for bidders and  found out in past 30 days he has won 144 auction also.!!

Lot of money is spend on stamp collection.

Do you think it's all are genuine transaction.?

Stamp collector don't spend this money or don't bid on this many auction.!!

So don't you think this is not a stamp collector but makes living on stamp by bidding it and buying it.!!

No it's up to you to decide when you buy stamps or First Day Covers because some one is making living by selling and buying stamps.!!

Someone made living on my money by using one of the following way, so make sure your money stays with you and you spend it.

1) Shill Bidding
2) Buyer don't pay to seller
3) Seller show image of genuine item and sends you forgery items.

It's not stamp collectors who are buying all the time. !!

So BEWARE about stamp Collection.!!

Other wise someone will be living on your money and your kids might have just piece of paper.!!

Thanks

STAMP COLLECTING VALUES : STAMPS WORTH - Stamps Investment

This blog post is to bring AWARENESS to new or  long time stamp collector about Stamp Collecting Values or How much is my Stamps Worth or Stamp Investment makes sense in today's world.

We all are always thinking about stamp worth because we put lot of effort in it as a hobby, but hobbies don't last for ever.

Same is the case for stamp collection and what I notice in last 4+ years that it's value is declining like great depression, and chances are it will never come back because there is lot of other things to do as time has changed and communication method is also changed so no one even use stamps what was daily part of life.

If you are thinking about STAMP COLLECTING VALUES  or  STAMPS WORTH then you are in big trouble because you might get in depression. There is not value in Stamps Investment as no body collect it.!!

If you see 20 years ago there was no computers, no internet, no video games , no Facebook, no google search and limited amount of reading material available. Also at that people don't have money so no more going out to eat or vacation to see different places so there was lot of extra time for stamp collecting hobby, but now you don't have enough time for hobby.

As there are only 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year there is no way you can accomplish all this things and have time for hobby.!!

So your new hobby is facebook or video games or surfing the web  for daily activity other than going to school or work and during weekend go out to eat and see movie and during long weekend or school vacation travel to different places.!!

Now look at the following screenshot from eBay.

1969 Great Britain Gandhi stamp sheet of 120 stamps was sold for $9 which will be 7 cents per stamp.!!

After 45 years it's value is not appreciating and if you count all inflation and investment and storage of stamps it is losing value.( also needs to pay for shipping, handling and eBay and PayPal fees.!!)

Now don't you think it's a sign of great depression in Stamp collecting if you look at it's value.

But you might see lot of HIGH price in stamps which are nothing but GLORIFICATION of stamps by

1) Increasing price by SHILL Bidding
2) Not paying to seller after winning so it increase price
3) FORGERY and FAKE items are even selling at high price
4) Even expertising certificate are FORGED.

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?

7) Indian Philately Exposed
8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II
9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

I hope all the above will help while making decision in investing stamps and to avoid getting CHEATED.!!

Now don't you think it does NOT make sense STAMP INVESTING!! or even Collecting.!!!

Do you think it's INVESTMENT or GAME.!!

I think it's not for Investment but it's a Philatelic GAME.!!

So let's see how to play  Philatelic Game.!! (click to read how to, rules and regulations.!!)

After reading above links what do you think of  STAMP COLLECTING VALUES : STAMPS WORTH - Stamps Investment ?

Germany FDC : Stamp collection price

Recently I saw Germany 1969 FDC Mahatma Gandhi Hindu India Indien selling on eBay at unbelievable price.

This Germany FDC were printed in very very large quantity and it should be available easily at throw away price under 25-50 cents.!! Not only Germany FDC but any item in stamp collection is very very low.

If you are wondering what will be my stamp collection price in future or what will be my stamp collection price right now than you might be surprised when you try to sell it.

Also stamp collection is declining through out the world and there are barely any buyers at even this price because dealers are not interested to purchase and resell because it's very hard to sell unless they cheat you by SHILL bidding to increase price or use other id to increase price in order to glorify Germany FDC or any other collectibles items.

Also there are FAKE FDC also available. Click following link to see it.

But here seller "allstamps4you" is selling for more than $15.!!

If you don't know research about pricing than you will regret buying at very high price.

So now what do you think about pricing of this Germany 1969 FDC Gandhi India.

Stamp collection price - Stamp as Investment ?

We all know stamp collection price is declining in real world except by some rare collectors who still believe that stamp collection is going  up in India and China.

According to me it's nothing but false glorification of stamp collection price by increasing price by SHILL bidding and not paying to seller by increasing price.

Now look at the following screenshot and you will be surprised about Stamp collection price by selling price and number of bidders bidding on this stamps or first day cover.

Gibraltar 1998 First Day cover of  Stamps of Wisdom of Gandhi, Churchill, Einstein and Shakespeare. After 15 years it's not even selling at face value of 1998.!!! And only one bidder was interested in this 4 stamps.!!!

This proves that stamp collection is declining and also it's not for investment.

Don't you think it's a JOKE stamps as investment.!!

Now look at following screen shot of India 1969 FDC with 4 Gandhi stamps who in world is glorified as one of the most famous stamp for collection, but when you see the price it don't even sell for more than original price if you count dollar value in 1969.!!

Again a  it's a JOKE stamps as investment.!!

Following is one more example Stamp collection price of 1969 Guyana first day cover with  2 Ghandhi stamp.!! It was sold for $2.!!

Don't you think it's a JOKE stamps as investment.!!

After reading all of the above blog post it's now up to you to decide about what is Stamp collection price  and what do you think Stamp as Investment ?

Thanks

Expensive stamps : Are stamps for investments. ?

We all know how price are increased on eBay by SHILL bidding or by listing at high price and wait for some new buyer to buy it.

Also there is a great push for stamps investment, so some broker or auction company can make money on commission from rich people as they are not aware of CHEATING in stamp collection.

Recently I saw Gandhi stamps from Yemen , Sri Lanka and Somalia were for sale on eBay by "arun7602" for $25 each!!!

And if you buy this stamp for more than $1 or $2 than you will QUIT this hobby and regret whole life why you come in to this.!!

Of course rich people from will not invest in stamp selling for  $25 !!, but it's for medium income family who earned money very hard.!!

According to me this stamp of Mahatma Gandhi from Yemen, Sri Lanka or Somalia should not be more than $1.!! Yes $1, because it's not a unique or rare stamps of Mahatma Gandhi.

Also chances of forgery stamps are very high because it's easier to print now a days.

But if new collector see this price and find somewhere at half price they will try to buy it as they will think they got a deal, but they are ripped off!!

This is not a stamp collection but it's a stamp game, were you try to make fool (cheat) new collectors by listing at higher price and then list with other id at little lower price!!!

Now if you see following screenshot you will get idea what is the pricing of this expensive stamps.!!

It's barely $1 or $2 and it's available in large quantity, more than new collectors will come to this hobby of expensive stamp collection.!!

Even Somalia Gandhi FDC first day cover is selling for $4.!!

So don't you think this $25 for just stamps are very high or unreasonable?

Don't you think if you don't know pricing and buy this stamp then it will be expensive stamps ?

Read some of interesting blog post to see what's going in Gandhi stamps collection and think in your other collectibles items as well.!!

COLLECT GANDHI STAMPS : DUMB WAYS TO DIE.!!

We all don't want to DIE DUMB but sometimes in our decision will make us die DUMB.

And one of the DUMB decision will be collecting GANDHI stamps.!!!

Yes collecting GANDHI stamp is DUMB because it's nothing but CHEATING collectors  by selling FORGERIES stamps or BOGUS philatelic cover made with rubber stamps.

I was watching following video on youtube with my kids and I thought this might also apply to stamp collection also.!!

Recently I saw FORGERY cover with Gandhi stamps of Mauritius from eBay seller "arun7602" selling for $75.!!

If you don't know what's going in stamp collection and you make DUMB decision you will DIE DUMB because you are paying for piece of paper which is not actually philatelic cover or commerical used cover.

You will be cheated by collectors who make this kind of forged cover and sell it to dealers or collectors by increasing price by SHILL bidding.

I think "arun7602" is also victim of one of the famous collector (a mole in stamp collection!!) who made this cover and  was selling on eBay and delcampe!!

Above commerical cover is nothing but a FORGERY.

If you read following reasearch blog post you will find out who are involved in this forgery.

Following are some of the screenshot from above blog post "Philatelic Fakes and Forgeries". Please click and read if you don't want to DIE DUMB.!!

So after reading above blog post, now do you agree with me that Collecting Gandhi stamps is a DUMB WAY TO DIE.

Now see following screenshot were Gandhi stamps were for sale on eBay  at very expensive price ranging from $30000 - $3000.

Do you think if you buy that you will be buy that stamps you are on you way to die dumb.!!

Thanks

Apollo stamps - Moon Landing stamps - Error stamps - Overprint stamps

How low do you think following Cameroun 1969 Apollo Inverted Error overprint o/p miniature sheet M/S of 10 pairs will go.

To me this kinds of stamps are nothing but FAKE OR BOGUS because it's FANTASY of some dealers and we all collectors think it's ERROR stamp.!!

Can you believe someone can overprint by mistake on Gandhi stamps with Moon Landing.!!

But can you believe experienced stamp collectors and philatelic handbook also glorify this as ERROR stamp.!!

Even philatelic judges think as error stamps and stamps exhibit are getting medals for this kinds of stamps.!!

Not only that even BOGUS special cancellation (rubber stamp) are getting medal as rare unique cancellation.!! ( 2009 Germany Winnenden Gandhi cancellation or 1948 Jai Hind Cancellation.)

Don't you think it's common sense and right away we can tell it's does not make sense so it's forgery stamps. We don't need any Philatelic EXPERTIZING agency or person to give their certificate which they don't take liability.!!

So every one wants to glorify it.!!

Currently it's available for $451. In last 3 months it has reduced from $1200 to $450.!!!

How low this can go ?

To me it will go for $10 for 10 pairs.!!!

Reason for this low

1) Does not make sense it's overprint stamp, so it's not ERROR stamps.!!
2) There might me more than 1000 sheets still available or might be more.!!

Following are price and date Apollo stamps - Moon Landing stamps - Error stamps - Overprint stamps was for sale but no buyer.!!

01/10/14   - $460
01/03/14   - $479
12/18/13   -$479
12/03/13   -$579
11/26/13   -$644
11/19/13   -$688
11/12/13   -$1198

SPECIMEN POSTCARD : Making money by selling postcards on Internet.!!

Disclosure :- This is only to educate collector how easy it is to get CHEATED so every collector should be aware of this kind of activity.

If you make rubber stamps of "SPECIMEN" you can make 3000 Rupees by making FORGERY.!!

Yes Cheating collectors.!! Any way they are getting cheated .!! so they will not notice that they are cheated.!!

I think this is the easiest way to make money than selling  USED cover or REGISTER cover with  Gandhi stamps  because you need to create multiple things so prove it as genuine such

1) Overprint on stamp (SERVICE or SPECIMEN or Moon Landing)
2) Rubber stamp with Post office name (make it)
3) CDS from receiving post office. (it's rubber stamp)
4) Forgery stamp on cover (make it)
5) Register label (print it)
6) Find address (forged it)

You just  need one postcard and apply "SPECIMEN" rubber stamp on postcard and start selling as India SPECIMEN postcard.

Now compare following two SPECIMEN rubber stamp (taken from 1969 Gandhi Postcard from India) and you will notice both are different.!!

We had seen lot of SPECIMEN forgery stamps so it's not a big thing in stamp collection.!!

1) Gandhi SPECIMEN stamp (unknown country or no value printed)

Look at following screenshot and you can make $49 which will cost you 10 cents only.!!

INDIA INDE INDIEN INDISCHE - GANDHI GANDI GHANDHI GHANDI  10ps SPECIMEN POSTCARD

Looks like price came down by 100% in 16 months.!! Wait another 16 years and you will get at face value (10 Paise.!!).

Even if you sell as FORGERY it can get you around $7.!! which is still not bad compared to original price of making this. !! Following was sold as FORGERY SPECIMEN postcard.!!

"Now believed to be doubtful origin"

Following all 1969 Gandhi India postcard SPECIMEN  10 paise ( less than 1 cents) were sold as FORGERY for more than $7.!!

Each India SPECIMEN postcard was issued in 1969 with different theme such as Mahatma Gandhi Spinning Wheel, Mahatma Gandhi Outside his Ashram and Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.

This SPECIMEN can be applied to other postcards also and you can make money.!!

Also this "SPECIMEN" rubber stamp you can apply on other thematic postcard  from other countries also. Might have to use different ink or might have to make another rubber stamp, but concept is same.

Sierra Leone 1 1/2d red King George VI KG VI postcard overprint specimen
Kenya Uganda Tanganyika 15c  King George VI postcard overprint specimen

You can also apply this SPECIMEN rubber stamp on Stationery items also.!!

Trinidad and Tobago stationery King George VI KG6 6c blue Registerd env SPECIMEN Size G.
St. Vincent KG5 stationery 3d Blue registered envelope Specimen Size J
Gold Coast KG5 Stationery 3d Brown registered envelope SPECIMEN
Gambia KG5 King George stationery 3d blue registered envelope SPECIMEN

Also apply on postcard from Nepal.!!

Nepal 4 paise "SPECIMEN" King's Crown khukri scarce postcard postal stationery
Nepal 8P  Crown khukri scarce SPECIMEN reply postcard

Don't you think you can make living by making this kind of forgery items and selling it on internet.

It will be very hard to get noticed because you are just making  one rubber stamp usage and no one know what is genuine or forgery or whether even SPECIMEN exist or not.!!

So go for it and show your skills.!!

Stamps Collection : A DYING HOBBY ?

Recently I read about  stamp collection "A Paying Hobby", where there is all kind of praise about Gandhi stamps and investment in stamps.!!

As per article 1948 India Gandhi stamp valued 10 Rupees is paying 30000 Rupees, but as per my research it shows it's current value is 7500 Rupees.!! Click following link to see the current price of 10 Rupees India Gandhi stamps.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2013/01/india-stamps-10-rupees-1948-gandhi.html

I am not sure whether 7500 Rupees is also genuine price because chances of SHILL bidding and non paying is very high.!! So Beware what you listen or read or see is not actual price but "False hope of Riches.!!"

Yes stamp collection is  FALSE hope of Riches !!

If you ask me how much I will pay for 10 Rupees Gandhi stamp MNH, I will say about $40-50 or might be less as there are lot of stamps printed and there are not that many Gandhi stamps collectors.!!

But I will never buy it because chance of getting FORGERY is very high.!! I can live without it.!!

Do you know why stamp collection is  dying ?

1) Forgery stamps and rubber stamps is killing this hobby.
2) SHILL bidding is main killer.
3) False hopes of Riches by artificial inflated prices.
4) Incorrect Glorification of Gandhi stamps by displaying in stamp exhibition or online exhibition, Gandhi Handbook, philatelic blogs, philatelic website, stamps boards, newspapers, finiacial analyst or advisor etc.
5) Even forgery material are in philatelic museum in order to glorify.
6) BOGUS (never exist) postmark rubber stamp are in award winning exhibit.!!

Following past blog posts will help you to decide whether it's "A Paying or Dying Hobby".

A Hobby in Decline.

Gandhi Memorial Stamp folder : A Hobby in Decline. - Part II

Einstein stamps Churchill stamps : Stamp collection in decline.!!

India 1969 Gandhi Birth Centenary issue FDC - Is stamp collection hobby is on decline.?

After looking following two recent screenshot if some one can justify me that it's indeed Paying hobby, I will be really exictied.!!

Alsoi it will explain you that it's Dying Hobby because it does not pay or appreciate anything even after 44+ years.!!

Somalia 1969 Gandhi FDC with 3 stamps was sold for $4
Gabon 1969 Gandhi FDC with Martin Luther King stamp was sold for $5.

Also looks like there is not much interest in it as only one bidder bidding on it.!!

Even 1969 India Gandhi FDC with 4 stamps was sold for 39 cents which is equivalent to 24 Rupees in today's value.!! ( 60 rupees = 1$)

If you invested 7 Rupees in 1969 you will get 24 Rupees in 2013.!! And if dollar rates goes down you will be screwed.!!

In 1969  money conversion from dollar to rupees was 1 $ = 7 Rupees.

So if you invest 1 $ in 1969 Gandhi stamps FDC with 4 stamps then in 2011 you will get 0.40 cents.!!!

A loss of 60 cents.!!!

Can you explain yourself that where is the PAYOFF.!!

If 7 Rupees was just keep in bank for 45 years with 10% interest on it you will get 510 Rupees, which will be $8.50.!! ( 60 x 8.5 ) and no headache at all to get money as don't need worry about keeping FDC in safe place, selling on eBay, mailing to buyer etc.

Your money is safe with nationalized bank.!!

dollar to rupees from 1969            Compound interest calculation

There are more example of Gandhi Centenary FDC which were sold between $2-$3.!! (chances of SHILL Bidding are very high) so you were getting about 150 Rupees if you have invested in Gandhi stamps, but if you invested that in FIXED deposit you might got 510 Rupees.!!

Even Uruguay Gandhi stamp is appreciating only 41 cents after 44+ years.!!

You do the math and think how much you will get return on investment if you have invested 100 peso in 1970

The peso was replaced in November 1973 by the nuevo peso (new peso; ISO 4217 code: UYN) at a rate of 1 new peso for 1000 old pesos. The nuevo peso was also subdivided into 100 centésimos.

After further inflation, the peso uruguay (ISO 4217 code: UYU) replaced the nuevo peso on March 1, 1993, again at a rate of 1 new for 1000 old.

So even after 44+ years it's not appreciating!!

Forget about appreciating if you count all inflation then you will be paying from your pocket to keep this in your album and space in closet and also chance of getting damage because of weather or water or fire as it's a piece of paper.!!

On top of it there is lot of headache to sell this as chances are there might be no buyer or it will get lost in mail and you have to pay commission to eBay and PayPal.!!

Also you need to keep all accounting because you have to pay tax on it.!!

Now you need to decide whether it's Paying hobby or Dying hobby.

To me it looks like DYING hobby.

Read my following blog post and you will also start believing that it's Dying if you still believe it's Paying hobby.!!

1) Philatelic FAKE and FORGERIES.
2) FAKE AERO PHILATELY Covers.
3) Stamp collection CHEATING.
4) Stamp Collection Value
5) Stamp Collecting Facts
6) China stamp collection value.

8) World First Flight Cover
9) Greatest Stamp Collection Scandal
10) Biggest stamp collection SCAM
11) SCANDAL in stamp collection

Now does it make sense to collect stamps after looking above blog posts?

I Don't think so.!!

Error stamps Freaks stamps Oddities stamps

Recently I saw four error stamps of Gandhi ( two used and two mint error stamps) from Hungary sold for $1025.

This can be Error stamps or  Freaks stamps  or Oddities stamps also because it is one of a kind if genuine.!!

Do you really think this is ERROR stamp or Oddities stamps?

Of course it look like Error stamp or Freak stamp, but can you believe it.?

Do you really think this Error stamps or Freaks stamps or Oddities stamps was sold by postal administration as it is registered cover ?

But we know how this kind of Error stamps or Freaks stamps or Oddities stamps are made and sold.

1) Either it is stolen waste from printing press instead of shredding or burning or archiving by or from government.
2) Either it is photo copy of existing stolen waste and  available in large quantity.
3) Modified existing stamp or from picture from philatelic book modified using Photoshop and claiming as error stamp.

This are imperf stamp which has missing black color, so you don't see detail like country name and other details on the stamp.

But still it was not notice by postal administration and they applied rubber stamp on it.!! They need to make sure which country it belong too even though it is look alike.!!

Do you really think this is genuine used ?
