Rare stamps King George stamps KG V stamps - Replica or Genuine ?

Recently I saw rare stamps of Morrocco Agencies overprinted on  King George - KG V stamps selling for around $180 and I thought what are chances of this are Forgery.!!

Reason for this conclusion is that there are wide varieties of FORGERY rare stamps of  King Geroge stamps or KG V stamps are available on eBay.

There is a great push by group of experienced collector  to sell forgery as genuine by Glorification of stamps through online stamp exhibit, philatelic website, blogs etc as an Investment in stamps.!! with help of financial advisor and other auction house.

These experienced collectors turn dealers - turn online/offline stamp exhibitor - turn philatelic judges or whatever they turned in  - they will try to make money by displaying original image of stamps but they might send you different stamp which might be replica or copy or facsimile.!!

If you don't pay attention when it arrives you will be CHEATED.!!!

But reality is different as stamp collecting hobby is DYING.!!!

And if you don't want to DIE DUMB then please read all or some of the blog post which will explain you what's going on in stamp collection or philately world.!!

Why I am writing this because I was cheated by seller on eBay and declampe as there was no information about SHILL bidding or Forgery stamps or forged or bogus philatelic material with rubber stamp.

So I decided let's educate others with knowledge I gained.!!

Also forgery stamps are available at very cheap under $5 and you can sell it for $180.!! Lot of money can be made so it's motivating to sell forgery as genuine.!!

Don't you think you love money.!! so if $5 can make you $180 then why not give it a try.!! It's free to list on eBay so you don't have to spend any money to sell.!!!

Pay commission to eBay only if someone is cheated by buying this stamp.!!

One can easily cheated if they are not aware of this Forgery stamps selling as Replica or Copy or Facsimile stamps and get piece of paper instead of rare stamp.!!

I am not expert so I cannot tell whether this Morrocco King George Stamp or KG V stamps is genuine or forgery, so it's up to you to decide because expert certification are also forged.!!

If I have to buy it I will avoid it, because it's nothing but a big SCAM.

Stamps from San Marino Senegal Morocco :This is why collector quit Gandhi stamp collection.!!

Hello Gandhi Stamp collectors,

Following is the main reason why new collectors are not coming to Gandhi Stamp collection.

Seller "phil-centre" from UK is trying to sell Gandhi FDC and FFC for unbelievable price.

San Marino First Day Cover is selling for $123.!! It should not be more than 2-3$.!!!

Senegal Gandhi First day cover is also selling for $123.!! It should not be more than $5 as it is without cachet.

Lufthansa First Flight Cover with Morrocco Gandhi stamp for $81!! Not sure whether this is Genuine or FAKE(might not be travelled on First Flight or even never went through flight at all!!)

Disclosure : I own all 3.!! but I regret now.!! So trying to educate other new collector so they can learn from my mistake or just can think about it.!!

When new collector see this price and find it cheaper on eBay or delcampe they think it as a very good price.!!

Also this kind of pricing makes them think GANDHI stamp collection is incredible were FDC and FFC prices are very high.!!

But they might don't know that this is one of the way to cheat.!!

Do you think this are valued what seller is asking for ?

I don't think so.!!

So stay away from any Gandhi First day cover when they are asking more than $5.!!  except India Gandhi FDC were the price should not be more than $2 except 1948 Gandhi FDC.

So BEWARE what you are collecting and why are you collecting and at what price.!!

Read my following blog post to understand about stamp collection in DECLINE.!!

1) A Hobby in Decline : 1948 Gandhi USED cover case study.!!
2) A Hobby in Decline.!! - Part-2
3) How to invest when philately price is dropping.

If you see stamps are not even selling or selling like 5-10 times lower their value than mentioned in catalog.!!

There is nothing RARE or Scare in philately because this hobby is in downward trend because experienced collectors are loosing interest because value is not appreciating and new collectors are not coming in to this because there are lot of other things to do for them such as playing video games on Nintendo or X-box , social networking on facebook or google+ or  surfing on web through internet or SMS through iphone or android or watch games such as cricket, football or basketball.!!

Only way philately can sustain is to stop cheating in this hobby. Yes CHEATING.!! which is what you will see in order to increase value artificially by inflating the price by SHILL bidding, not paying to seller or mutual understanding cancelling transaction and lot more.

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

I hope all the above will help while making decision in investing stamps and to avoid getting CHEATED.!!

Now don't you think it does NOT make sense STAMP INVESTING!!

Also don't you think it does NOT make sense to collect all thematic stamps because it will keep coming.!!

Thanks

Morocco Gandhi Stamps FDC : Do you think Gandhi stamps or philatelic materials will burn you as stamp price is declining.!!

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Recently I was reading that after Indipex 2011 there was lot of interest in Mahatma Gandhi stamps collection. Lot of new collector want to start Gandhi thematic collection. So I am sharing my experience which may be helpful to new Gandhi collectors or even other stamp collectors.

Do you think Gandhi stamps or philatelic materials will burn you? You decide after reading this blog post and other blog post by comparing
1) buyers
2) sellers
3) selling and buying pattern
4) glorification of Gandhi stamps
5) Shill Bidding

Recently I saw block of 4 Gandhi stamps from Morocco selling for $45.!! where as in past I saw it sold for $2.!!

Even Morocco Gandhi Stamps (Maroc Gandhi stamps) are selling under 50-75 cents

Also in past full sheet of Gandhi stamps with 50 stamps from Morocco was sold for $60-70!! Please click following link to read more about it.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/07/morocco-gandhi-stamps.html

Recently  Morocco/Maroc Gandhi FDC was sold for 10 euros. So I was looking past purchase of Maroc Gandhi FDC on delcampe and I was surprised how much price is reduced in 3-4 years. (Thanks Delcampe for making this possible, otherwise I will not able to what happen in past.!!)

Following are screen shots from delcampe which will give you idea how Maroc Gandhi FDC was sold in last 2-3 years.

OTHER BIDDER IS DKKPHILA FROM WHOM I BOUGHT SOME FDC FROM DELCAMPE IN FEB. 2009.!!

You can see after my purchase this seller stop selling or buying using this account because I studied this seller and learned HOW TO INCREASE PRICE OF GANDHI PHILATELIC MATERIAL.!!

You can also do some study by looking to feedback of this seller.

Delcampe link of DKKPHILA

Even Morocco Gandhi Stamps (Maroc Gandhi stamps) are selling under 50 cents and block of 4 is selling under $2.!!

If you are collecting Gandhi thematic collection for more than 7 years than I think you will be not get burned. But I think if you are entering in this hobby like me than I think you will be.

So now you have to decide wheather Gandhi Stamps/Philatelic materials will burn you if you are new collector or even you are pro?

Will you buy it from ebay or delcampe or from dealers and start Gandhi collection.!!?

I am not sure why such a low price even after 40+ years. Also this was in auction and only one buyer for this. Is it not amazing.!!

Do you know why such a low price.?

This is not only in Morocco stamps but all other countries also.

Morocco Gandhi Stamps

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

I am not sure what interest it makes to collect stamp sheet. Reason for this is it will required special care for sheet you collect and  it will not fit in any standard philatelic album and it also cost higher than regular stamps.

Look at following example of Morocco Gandhi stamp sheet. It was sold for 60 euros. But now collector or reseller needs to keep it in specially space. Also it cost more for shipping and also it's pain to store and to display also.!!

And that's the reason after 40+ years it is selling around 60 euros for this stamp sheet of 50 stamps.!!

Think about all this stuff before you buy Gandhi Stamp sheet.

Seller : estafette50

Buyer : www_stampsfromindia_com

Seller : estafette50
Buyer : traditional.india

Sold for 32 Euros in auction.!!

In future you might see this  stamp sheet selling on ebay or delcampe in block of 4!!

This is for reference for future new Gandhi Stamp Collectors, so they know what was pricing of this stamps in 2011 even after 40+ years!!

This 2 sheet came for sale for $500!!! But both of them were  unsold. (Looks like one of the buyer is trying to sell this.!!)

India Stamps : Gandhi Stamps Khadi Indipex : Look where is pricing of Gandhi stamps after one year.!!! Another example of Collapse in Stamp collecting hobby.!!!

By Ketankumar Patel.

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

In January I wrote blog post about Collapse in Stamp Collection and I think this blog post will further strengthen your view on that. If you don't have read my previous blog post about collapse in stamp collection then following is the link.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/01/togo-gandhi-stamps-collapse-of-stamp.html

One year ago India issued 100,000 (One Lakh or Hundred thousand or 0.1 million) Gandhi stamp on  Khadi(Cotton Cloth) with presentation folder. It was sold only in presentation folder for 250 Rupees ($5 appr.) and actual stamp value is 100 Rupees ($2 appr.)

Recently this presenatation folder with khadi stamp (including presenatation folder) was  sold for under $3.50.!!

One year ago stamp collectors were eager to get this Khadi stamp in a presentation folder, thinking value of this stamp will increase tremendously like 10 Rupees 1948 Gandhi stamp, but if you see current price of this folder then you will surprised that what's going in philately hobby.

Following screenshot will give you idea what kind of hype was one year ago to get this stamp.

http://www.sify.com/news/khadi-stamp-on-mahatma-gandhi-huge-crowdpuller-at-postal-expo-news-national-lcmr4dfcagi.html

Now after one year it is selling under face value.!! for 2.20 UK Pounds ($3.49)

Do you think price of this folder will ever appreciate as there is huge quantity in stock with all collectors thinking that price of this stamp will appreciate like 1948  10 Rupees stamp.!!

Look at following screen shot and you can't beleive that 3 Gandhi Khadi Presentation folder with Khadi Stamp in a sheet sold only  $2.38, $3.17 and $3.49.!! where as face value of this was $5 in 2011.!!!

Recently I saw large quantity of this khadi stamp in presentation folder for sale for $6.!! Can't believe it.  Not sure whether it will still reduce but looking to world wide trend in stamp collection hobby and 100,000 khadi stamp issued I think chances are it will go BELOW face value by 20-40% because it will be smart to sell it at lower price and invest some other item where margin will be higher and quantity will be less.

Also you will see large quantity of this presentation folder is available for sale in wholesale (17 & 22 pieces).!! In past I had also seen 100 pieces for sale!!

Now you decide where value of this stamp will go.!!

What are your feelings about pricing of this MS + Presentation folder.

After reading this blog post and looking to following screen shot of recently sold Gandhi stamps from Suriname, Morocco, Syria, Bhutan, Egypt and Grenada don't you think stamp collection hobby is already collapsed.!!

From above screenshot you can see Gandhi stamps are selling for under $1.!! after 40+ years. It looks like no one is interested.!!

No one is even buying this beautiful sheet issued by Mauritius with 6 stamps of Gandhi  in 1969 for under 99 cents.!!

Again thanks for reading and  please share your thoughts in the comments section

Thanks

Morocco Gandhi Stamp Sheet - Is it worth for collection or investment.!!

Update:-

This 2 sheet came for sale for $500!!! But both of them were  unsold. (Looks like one of the buyer is trying to sell this.!!)

What is Gandhi Stamp Value ? Does it make sense to Invest in Gandhi stamps.!!

We all know how price are increased on eBay.

1) SHILL bidding

2) Not paying to seller

3) Selling with different accounts.

Now let's research about Gandhi Stamp Value.

I know you all might have following Gandhi stamps in your collection but this is blog post is for future new Gandhi collectors.

Above 12 stamps are very colorful from 9 different countries which are Brazil, Hungary, Chile, Tanzania, Guyana, Senegal , Morocco, Nevis & Ireland. Most of this stamps were issued in 1969 which is almost 40+ years.

But all this stamps were UNSOLD for $12 and now it for resale again at $13.!!!   Look at following screen shot of this Gandhi stamp value and it's amazing that same stamps are sold by 2 different sellers.!!

As I mentioned before that you can find MNH Gandhi Stamps any time as there are NO RARE stamps. It is made RARE by certain dealers who try to profit out of it.

So who ever bought this stamps 40 years ago and preserve this very nicely in album can't sell for $12 from 9 different countries.

In past we saw GANDHI DU CAMEROUN 2 STAMP 1969  sold for $2-3,  Gandhi SOMALIA 3 STAMPS 1969 sold for $3-4  and GANDHI SYRIAN TWO STAMPS 1969 sold for $1-2.

As I mentioned in my previous blog posts that Gandhi stamps are not for Investment. Now it's up to you to think whether Gandhi stamps make sense for Investment.!!!

You can also read my another blog post about Mahatma Gandhi Stamp - Is it for Investment ?

I know by writing this kind of information I am decreasing my own collection value, but it's OK to let other's new emerging  collectors what is True value of Gandhi  Stamp Collection instead of just using other technique to increase the prices.!!

Another example of same philatelic material sold by 2 different id.  Sellers are "sanu108" and "405940"

Following 3 covers from Suriname, Zambia and Costa Rica were on auction by 2 different sellers.!!!

Also Covers from Zambia and Costa Rica needs more research because CDS is unclear and not sure about postage rates at that time. So stay away from any Gandhi USED covers as it's a big scam going on.!!!

But looking all screen shot it looks like all  3 sellers id's is from same ebay seller.!!

"10saki88" , "sanu108" and  "405940" .!!

And might be more.!!

I hope you got my point.

Want to know more about FAKE and FORGERY stamps then checkout other blog post click one of the following link and you will be surprised.!!!
