Indian Philately - India used Singapore - India stamp used abroad - 1854 Lithograph B/172 - Indian Postal History from ebay seller stamp_bay.

Recently Indian Philately sold as  India used Singapore or India stamp used abroad  - 1854 Lithograph B/172  which we also called as Indian Postal History was sold on eBay by "stamp_bay" from California USA for $195.

Buyer is i***a(241).

But I am surprised who in the world collect stamps in this modern internet age!! and paying this much amount for just one single stamp.

Do you really think this was sold for $195 even after seeing on eBay and even with feedback ?

But who cares if buyer is happy then everyone is happy as lot of money from this transaction for seller as well as for eBay as commission as well as all state and federal tax collection agency. Also money for paypal if paid using it.

But I don't know who pays$195 for a piece of paper in this modern high tech world where no one collect stamps as they are busy with other things such as
  • Watching TV such as serial or sports
  • Surfing Internet
  • Watching Youtube or Netflix
  • Playing video games
  • Social Networking like facebook or whatsapp

So do you think anyone have time to collect stamps and spend $195.?

We know forgery of B/172 is available in plenty. Following is one of the example it is sold as forgery, but think it can be sold as genuine or rare.!!!

It's an art of making and selling by telling a STORY. It's all about how you tell story to sell it.

We know how easy is to make rubber stamps and we had seen forgery of rubber stamps it from all countries including BLUM case from Germany.

But we all know how many Forgery stamps as well as rubber stamp are used in Indian Philately or Indian postal history.

So after above blog post what do you think ?

  • Genuine rubber stamp B/172 or FORGERY ?
  • Genuine used India stamp abroad or FORGERY?
  • Genuine eBay transaction where buyer really paid to ebay seller "stamp_bay" and eBay got commission.

India 1854 2A Green stamps - British India stamps with BPA cert

India 1854 2A green stamp with Diamond dot cancel was sold for $700 with BPA certificate by eBay seller "select_stamps" from UK.

Do you really think this India 1854 2A green stamp was sold for $700!!

Do you really think India 1854 2A green stamp with BPA certificate has any value.?

Do you really think eBay got commission from this India 1854 2A green stamp transaction (10% of selling price)?

Do you really think rubber stamp Diamond dot is genuine ?

My personal opinion about above question for  India 1854 2A green stamp is NO. (you don't have believe me, it's my opinion)

Reason for not believing in any of the above for India 1854 Green stamp is

1) No one collect stamps any more.
2) Forgeries are available in plenty
3) It's hard to find very genuine old stamp in so many quantity.
4) eBay might not get commission on this as chances are buyer did not paid to seller and seller opened case with ebay for refund.!!
4) BPA cert has no value as they don't take any responsibility as mentioned on the cert.
(neither the company nor the members of the expert committe can accept any liablility, either collective or individual for any opinion expressed.)
5) It's easy to make rubber stamps. Who know which one is genuine or even exist 160+ years ago.

Think how much capital gain tax or VAT needs to be paid in this 1854 India Green stamp sold for $700. I think it will be ($120 -$140) appr.

NOW LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING AND SEE HOW MANY STAMPS FROM INDIA ISSUED IN 1854 WAS SOLD BY EBAY SELLER for under $50.

  • stamp_bay from California, USA
  • asianstamp from Singapore
  • 2874tessa from UK

Why this is sold for under $50.

Are not this genuine stamp from stamp_bay or asianstamp or 2874 ?

They all needs to pay same thing to eBay and VAT or CA tax even it sold for such a low price.?

Why such a difference in pricing for 1854 India green stamps 2A issued by British India rule.

Do you following are Forgery stamps as no BPA cert and that's why it is selling for less price ?

Other India 1854 2A green stamp sold  between $700- $100 from ebay seller

  • anglo-indian-affairs
  • ducati46stamps
  • wellingtonshares

This is common practice to make money.

By creating forgery stamps and forgery rubber stamp and start selling.

Compare with other Indian or British India forgery and think about it.

You know my opinion already and no one  also takes liability.

So what do you think about India 1854 2A stamps.

All are  forgery or genuine ?

British India Stamps King Edward stamps from eBay seller anglo-indian-affairs

Recently I saw British India stamp of King Edward sold for $2100 with 40 bids on this auction. This was sold by "anglo-indian-affairs" from United Kingdom.

This is not first time I am seeing this stamp selling in Mint condition which is . more than 109 years old but still comes in lot of quantity.

According to my knowledge there has been more than 30 stamps of King Edward 1909 stamp  were sold by this seller in last 5 years.!!

But I had also seen forgery stamps also selling by seller from Russia or Taiwan for under $5.!!! It's very hard to differentiate between this stamps sold for $1000+ or $5.!!

Looks like eBay is making lot of commission from UK eBay seller "anglo-indian-affairs"

I did more research on British India stamps sold by "anglo-indian-affairs" and I was surprised by amount of money flowing in British India stamps.!!

Can't believe it's REAL.!!!

In last 3 months only "anglo-indian-affairs" has sold more than 2600+ stamps or stamps related material which are with mostly British India stamps.

After looking 2600+ stamp selling from just one eBay seller " anglo-indian-affairs" Do you think stamp collection is still a hobby?

Lot of money for UK and Euro from GST.!!

But some of them to me looks like FORGERY.!! Yes Forgery as you know almost all British India stamp is forged specially high amount value (25 Rupees stamp) and others.

Look at India 1909 King Edward stamp sold for $2172. You can see my previous blog post about this stamp and you decide what's going on King Edward stamp.!!

Now do you think all this 2500+ eBay transaction are GENUINE.!!

I am not talking about GENUINE stamp. I am just talking about eBay Auction Transaction.?

Did all 2500+ transaction was genuine where seller paid all his dues to eBay, PayPal, UK or Euro GST and paid all Capital Gain Tax as per UK tax rules.

If it is paid then it's good for eBay shareholders as well as PayPal (Disclosure : I am paypal shareholder) and UK government got lot of money from GST.!!

14000+ US dollar only from 13-14 auction only.!! Want to check all 2600+ ebay auction sold by anglo-indian-affairs then click following link.

So what do you think ?

Is 2600+ eBay transactions are genuine ?

Is British India stamps are in demands.!! ?

If you see above screenshot it looks like there were multiple bids on each of the stamps which were sold.?

Do you think there is SHILL bidding on this ?

Following is FORGERY selling under $10.

Do you think there will be better quality of this FORGERY stamp selling ?

Thanks

Anglo-Indian-Affairs sold India EDVII 1909 SG147 25r stamps.

In past I wrote about King Edward 1909 stamp from India with 25 Rupees face value.

This King Edward 1909 stamp is available in plenty as REPRINT stamp from X-soviet union countries under $5.

What are chances of this stamp selling as Genuine.!!

Also consider 25 Rupees was lot of money in 1909 for any Indian people and to keep it in Mint condition for 100+ years in good condition is very rare unless you are from King's/Queen family.

In past REPLICA stamps were sold for $8-9. Don't you think it's easy to sell it for $1600 by SHILL BIDDING.!!

Click following link to read more about Replica stamp of King Edward stamp.

Recently India EDVII stamp issued in 1909 with (Stanley Gibbons # 147) SG147 of 25 Rupees stamp was sold for $1600.!!

Now did Ango-Indian_Affairs really sold this stamp ?

      * might not got money from buyer after winning it.!! (ebay will give refund to commission to seller)

Did it really sold ?

     * Did eBay got commission ?

Did UK government got tax ?

     * If it is sold then UK government should get TAX as capital gain tax.

Did UK government got VAT ?

     * If it is sold then UK government should get VAT.

My personal opinion(freedom of speech) about this transaction is

  • It's a Replica stamp
  • It was not sold for $1600 even you can see it on eBay.
  • No commission to eBay
  • No payment made. (Paypal did not get any commission).
  • No Capital Gain Tax to UK government.
  • No VAT paid.
What is your opinion ?

Thanks

India GEOV stamp - British India stamps - India KGV stamps - KEV stamps.

Recently I saw mint India 1913 or 1928 GEOV stamp valued 25 Rs, 15 Rs, 10 Rs issued 100+ years ago selling in huge quantity.

eBay seller "anglo-Indian-affairs" from UK sold more than 200 India mint GEOV stamps.

Yes GEOV stamps sold between $300 to $50. (approximately $10000).!!
  • How much capital gain tax this seller has to pay ?
  • How much VAT & income tax has to pay to UK federal government ?

Who the hack is buying this INDIA GEOV stamps.!!?

What bother me is that 25 Rs or 15 Rs or 10 Rs was lot of money in 1913.

No one has that kind of money and save it for collection as investment.

It's a paper which will deteriorated over the time.

People will invest in GOLD not in piece of paper.

Also this high value stamps were not required for regular postage as there was nothing that expensive to post.

So what are this mint INDIA GEOV stamps ?

FORGERY ?

Yes FORGERY are selling as Genuine. !!

I know  this kind of sale is good for

  • eBay as they will get commission
  • capital gain tax to country of selling
  • VAT to country(EU) of selling (depending on buyer's country).
  • Paypal as they will get fees from seller
  • Income tax (year end) of seller's country.
it's hard to tell but My opinion that no one gets money.!!

But not sure why collectors are paying this much after my opinion through following blog post.!

Now do you think all this selling is real.?

  • Yes, I am talking about FAKE selling.!!
  • Buyer don't pay to seller. Seller cancel bid with eBay so don't have to pay commission.
  • SHILL bidding by philatelic friends, relative and seller's other id to increase price and cancel the transaction if someone else don't buy it from the cartel.!! so don't have to pay commission to eBay.
  • You and me will be not aware what happen in reality.!!
This is what happens to increase price of any collectible items.

FOLLOWING ARE SOME OF THE REPLICA STAMPS.

Look carefully and think how easy is so get fooled by this replica stamps.

Don't you think above are replica stamps ?

Because # 1 thing is that no one has that kind of money to keep it as collection.!!

Don't you think you can make lot of money by selling replica as genuine.

So do you think India GEOV stamps are forgery selling as genuine.?

I think so.!

Thanks

Queen Victoria stamp - David Brandon Expert Certificate - UK capital gain tax on stamp collection.

Recently I saw 1895 Indian stamp of Queen Victoria stamp  with overprint British East Africa - 1895-96 O/P Type 9 on QV 3r (rupees) stamp sold for $3048.!!

We know how easy is to make overprint stamp and claim it is unique and rare.

We know forgery and BOGUS (never exist) stamp are made with overprint and try to cheat seller.

Click following is BOGUS stamp which was sold for $225000.with expert certificate.!!  (It's a common practice in stamp collection.!!)

But this  Indian stamp of Queen Victoria stamp with overprint British East Africa - 1895-96 O/P Type 9 on QV 3r (rupees) stamp sold for $3048 by seller "stampedia" from UK.

It's good for UK government as they will get CAPITAL GAIN TAX from this stamp. (20-30%)

Also UK government will get VAT from this  Queen Victoria stamp with overprint British East Africa - 1895-96. (15-20%)

Also new eBay stock investor will see this as potential oppurntuity to buy eBay stock/shares, because eBay will get 10% from this transaction.!!

Also PayPal will get 2-3% if it was used to complete transaction.!!

So lot of money is flowing from this one stamp to all of them including seller who will get 50% after all the commission to eBay, Capital GAIN tax and VAT.

you decide whether this is genuine or forgery or bogus by
looking margin on sides, type of overprint etc.

Do you think all of them (UK treasury, UK VAT dept, eBay) got money from this sale of QV stamp ?

or

Buyer did not paid and seller cancel transaction.?

So we are not sure.

But you and me are thinking QV stamp sold for $3000.!!

You and me are thinking QV stamp with overprint British East Africa is rare stamp.!!

Ebay shareholders are thinking their stock is good investment because it's getting lot of money from this kind of transaction.!!

Some rich people will be motivated by stamp dealer to invest in stamps by showing this.!!

Some blog writer, newspaper will make it more famous after looking this QV stamps sold for $3000.!!

Also seller has to pay for this David Brandon Expert Certificate so seller can make sure to buyer it's Genuine.

Seller can avoid paying to David Brandon Expert Committe by creating new expert committe of his own.!!

Yes any one can give expert certificate. No formal education or degree needed to give Expert Certificate. Also there is no university who give education for Expertising stamp.!!

Also you need to make sure that there are lot of forgery expert certificate or BOGUS expert certificate is available in market.

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?

7) Indian Philately Exposed
8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II
9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

So you can save some money and don't look fool or idiot.!!

I hope all the above will help while making decision in investing stamps and to avoid getting CHEATED.!!

BRITISH INDIA STAMPS - IS HELPING EBAY SHAREHOLDERS AND TREASURY DEPARTMENT OF USA AND UK. ? - Is stamp collection and philatelic material helping US and UK economy ?

In last three months there were total 20 auction with British India stamps including Indian state stamps, were sold above 1000+ dollars.!!

Overall value of this 20 auction was more than $25000!!

If you are tracking this sold  stamp collection or philatelic material then you will be surprised that value is still holding or increasing even though stamp hobby is declining world wide.!!

Do you really think US and UK government will tax (sales tax, state tax, VAT, capital gain tax etc) from this 25000+ value of stamps transaction ? (around $5000)

On top of that eBay will be getting about $2500 just from this auction as a commission without providing any material or products or goods.!!! (just facilitator). By looking this commission don't you think eBay is a good stock (share) to buy ?

How we know that this is genuine transaction and all government is getting taxes on this.

Also how we know that eBay is getting commission from this.

Because chance of increasing price and canceling transaction after auction closed or shill bidding and increase price and buyer don't pay to seller.

It will be very hard to know all this things and so we cannot trust this as genuine transaction.

WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT SHILL BIDDING, BOGUS STAMPS, FORGERY STAMPS, FAKE PHILATELIC MATERIAL THEN READ FOLLOWING BLOG POSTS.

Now let's see eBay seller got lot of money from this British India stamps.

eBay seller "jwalk5" got $4010, "greencott" got $3650, "anglo-indian-affairs" got $3040,  "king-post" got $2500.

eBay seller "billwits" got $2470, "greystone" got $2125, "beattle123" got $2050,

Now let see what are chances of forgery of philatelic material ?

  • British India stamps are available in forgery
  • Easy to make rubber stamp
  • Even forged material are widely published in various Handbook, Yearly books as well as in award winning stamp collection exhibit.

Now let see what are chances of not getting money to eBay as well as UK and USA governments.

  • Buyer not paying to seller, and seller cancel transaction in order to avoid pay fees to eBay.
  • Chance of SHILL bidding to increase price and cancelling transactions.

Both of them will affect eBay shareholders as well as UK and USA government.

So do you think

BRITISH INDIA STAMPS - IS HELPING EBAY SHAREHOLDERS AND TREASURY DEPARTMENT OF USA AND UK. ?

Is stamp collection and philatelic material helping US and UK economy by getting good amount of capital gain tax as well as VAT (sales tax).?

Thanks

1902 EdVII ten shillings stamps of GB - 1902 India KEVII 25 Rupees Stamps - Genuine or Forgery stamps ?

We all know 25 rupees was lot of money in 1902 (113 years ago).

But we all see too many mint 1902 India KEVII 25 Rupees stamp selling on eBay for $700+.

Does it make sense  to you that someone will keep 25 Rupees stamp in mint condition in 1902 ? (Except you are King or Queen of England or from Royal family)

Do you think King George stamps is  FORGERY stamps selling as Genuine ?

There are lot of forgery stamps available on eBay so you can buy one and sell  it as genuine and increase price by SHILL bidding and make it look like genuine ?

Also we see lot of 1902 EdVII ten shillings stamps of GB selling one eBay for very high price.

Recently I saw 1902 India KEVII 25 Rupees Stamp sold on eBay from Santa Clara, California by "mystampzone" for $787.

There were 7 bidders bidding for this stamps and 31 bids on it.

Also it's private listing bidders identities protected.!!! (WHY)

Do you think eBay shareholder will benefit from this transaction ?

eBay (shareholder) will get $78 on this transaction.!! (10% of selling price).

Also do you think California State will also benefit from sales tax and yearly income tax from this sale ?

So what are chances of getting forgery stamps like below even paying $700+?

NOW LET SEE OTHER 1902 STAMPS SELLING ON EBAY.

GB 1902 EdVII 10 Shilling stamps selling for $1700, $1260, $1208, $1037 from eBay seller from UK "collectstamps" and "tenshillings"

Look at # of bids.!!

28 bids , buy it now, 37 bids and 13 bids.!!

$5000 for four 1902 EdVII stamps of GB.!!

It's killing profit for eBay.!! ($500 from this four transaction only).

Also do you think UK government is getting 19% VAT on this transactions as all prices in UK are VAT inclusive and seller has to pay to government treasury.!!

If you are investing in stocks (shares) then you might think it will be good to buy eBay stock, because without giving anything you are getting this much money.!!

Do you think eBay is getting this kind of commission ?

Or eBay is not getting anything as seller might open case of non paying buyer ?

Now do you think following are FORGERY stamp selling as genuine ?

Following is FORGERY stamp - Replica stamp of GB 1902 EdVII ten shilling stamp.

You will not find any difference.!!!

Do you think following is Genuine stamp if seller don't mention about this. I don't think so.!!

Above block of 4 is a facismile/copy/counterfeit stamp.!!!

Because of recent modern technology in printing which is capable of printing money if printer manufacture are not restricted by government. If printers are capable of printing latest US dollar bill with all this watermark/threads/multicolor/magentic ink then to print 1948 stamp is peace of cake for this kind of printers.!!

So keep in mind what latest printers can do (along with rubber stamps) when you buy following items Mint or even USED on FDC or postally used.

1) 10 Rupees 1948 Gandhi stamps
2) 1 1/2, 3 1/2  and 12 Annas 1948 Gandhi stamps
3) SERVICE overprint Gandhi 1948 stamps
4) Imperf Gandhi stamps from Niger, Gabon, Cameroun, and all others Gandhi imperf stamps. (it's easy as no cutting required.!!)
5) SKY is the LIMIT.!!

THIS FAKE STAMPS MIGHT COME ON FDC OR USED COVERS SO BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Above stamp is currently selling as facsimile(copy).

Following are some screenshot from delcampe where it is sold as facsimile(copy/forgery/fake)

SO BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY.

Do you think all are GENUINE stamps ?

or

Do you think Replica is used to create used stamp with forged rubber stamp.?

It's your choice to think.!!

Thanks
Gandhi Stamps Club.
