POSTAL HISTORY COLLECTION - SAUDI ARABIA ARAMCO - India Used abroad stamps- Expensive stamps and philatelic used covers. - Capital Gain TAX on collectibles

RECENTLY EBAY SOLD $100,179 (one hundred thousand and 179 US dollars) SAUDI ARABIA used cover with stamps from 1934 - 1950 POSTAL HISTORY COLLECTION OF 140 COVERS FROM ARAMCO THE ARABIAN AMERICAN OIL COMPANY OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA WITH INDIA USED ABROAD STAMPS.

This will be one of the most expensive used covers sold in recent history on eBay. So I thought let me  spread the news about this.

There were 2 bidders for this auction with starting price of $999,979 and sold above $100,179  So it's a great news for seller, eBay shareholder(10% commission), US tax department (IRS - 28% capital gain tax) and other tax agency (local, VAT) as everyone will get money from this auction.

Want to know more about Capital Gain Tax on collectibles items then check out my links and screenshots then keep reading this blog post.

Does value of $999,979 of this 140 postal history covers or 37 covers from Saudi Arabia is real value ?

Do any one still collect stamps ?

Do people pay this much money for postally used covers ? (Even though it's to make Forgery or BOGUS by applying rubber stamp, which we don't know whether it's exist or not).

But guess what this postal history collection from Saudi Arabia ARAMCO is for auction again.!! WHY ?

Looks like FAKE bidding. Buyer did not pay to seller. ?

Or buyer did not trust this covers  ?

We don't know what happen with transaction, but a great loss for  everyone including collector, eBay company(shareholders), US Tax department (IRS) and other state and local tax collection agency.

Not paying to seller is common practice in stamp collection to increase price by SHILL bidding and not paying to seller and cancel transaction so they don't have to pay commission to eBay.!!

Following is information from eBay, but you want to see details click following link. Postal History covers from Saudi Arabia ARAMCO.

How much US Government is losing money from capital gain tax from this kind of artifical price rigging by Shill bidding or FAKE biding transactions.

Also eBay is losing commission from FAKE transactions after providing complete infrastructure cost.

India King George Used covers stationary post card - British India stationary post card

Recently I saw 99 different used covers of India King George  mixed with King George stamp stationary post cards, which were  sold for $22.50.!!!

It also has used cover with two 1948 Gandhi Stamps and King George stamps.

Yes, only 22.50 for total 99 different postal history covers which are more than 100+ years old from India.!!

Looks like there was no cheating like SHILL bidding in this auction because stamp value did not increases or # of bids or bidder were also less.!!

Majority of them are British India stationary postcard or post cards of King George and Queen Victoria stamps.

After looking to this don't you think that there is no value in stamp collection ?

Following are India King George India used covers stationary post card

India King George India used covers stationary post card

Look at the quantity and price of  India King George Used covers stationary post card - British India stationary post card.

No cheating on this auction of India King George India used covers stationary post card auction like SHILL bidding (seller bid on it's own item with other different id) because there were only 4 bidders and 4 bids.

If there was cheating then price will go around 2000-3000$!! and 30-50 bidders.!!

So what do you think about stamp collection ?

Don't you think it's decline ?

But you still some high price items which are nothing but increase using SHILL bidding or buyer don't pay to seller.!!

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?

8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II
9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

I hope all the above will help while making decision in investing stamps and to avoid getting CHEATED.!!

Now don't you think it does NOT make sense STAMP INVESTING!!

Philatelic register used stamps cover

Yesterday I wrote blog post were philatelic register used stamp cover was sold for only $5 which has three 1948 India Gandhi stamps.

Following are two Philatelic used stamps cover for comparison.

You cna guess for which philatelic cover you will pay $5 or $153!!? (if you have not read my previous blog post).

In today's blog post I am writing about philatelic used cover (not register) with just single 1948 India Gandhi stamps which was sold for $153 by "asdaasdaasda" from China.

Not sure why it was sold for this high value even though it's just philatelic register used stamps cover.!!

To me it looks only difference is seller "asdaasdaasda" is from China and buyer is "d***i (364)".

We all know "d***i(364)" in past had not paid to seller.!!

Don't you think something is WRONG in going in Gandhi stamps collection ?

It's lot of money for eBay shareholder from eBay/PayPal fees if buyer has paid to seller.

Yes if buyer has paid.!!

What I have seen in Gandhi Stamp Collection as well as other thematic collection, some collector/dealers increase price and don't pay to seller in order to glorify stamp collection so others will think that's the real value.!!

Or some seller use Shill Bidding (with different eBay id) to increase price.

In past I bought some mint stamps from "asdaasdaasda" and to me it looks suspicious because I paid high price for mint stamps as I don't know all the tricks of trade on eBay!! This is my personal review like we give it on Yelp or TripAdvisor.!! (You don't have to believe it same way like you don't trust other reviews).

Do you think seller paid for this item and eBay shareholder (like me) are benefited from this kind of transaction ?

But you all know that in past you saw very HIGH PRICED Philatelic cover - Used stamp cover value - Gandhi Commercial used cover were SOLD.

Don't you think it's nothing but Glorification by SHILL Bidding or Not Paying to seller ?

Philatelic cover - Used stamp cover value - Gandhi Commercial used cover

We all know stamp collection is in great downward trend and which also apply to Gandhi  stamps  as well as Philatelic cover - Used stamp cover value - Gandhi Commercial used cover.

Yesterday I saw Calcutta India to Richmond Virginia USA Registered Cover GANDHI which was sold for $5 and there was only one bidder for this Philatelic cover - Used stamp cover value - Gandhi Commercial used cover.

This Philatelic cover - Used stamp cover value - Gandhi Commercial used cover has three 12 annas 1948 Gandhi stamp from India and 4 annas British India stamp of King George stamps.

So what do think about stamp collection ? (does it make sense to collect).

Also does it make sense to collect Philatelic cover or Used stamp cover value or Gandhi Commercial used cover?

But you all know that in past you saw very HIGH PRICED Philatelic cover - Used stamp cover value - Gandhi Commercial used cover were SOLD.

Following philatelic cover was sold for $153 with just single 1948 Gandhi stamps and that's not even register cover.

So what do you think about following Philatelic cover - Used stamp cover value - Gandhi Commercial used cover ?

Is it really worth $153.?

If you compare following philatelic cover with above $5 Philatelic cover than I think it looks some what suspicious ?

What a difference not only in # of stamps but also in value.!!

Don't you think it's nothing but Glorification by SHILL Bidding or Not Paying to seller ? Following two blog post will explain about it.

Believe IT or NOT price of India 1948 Mahatma Gandhi FDC is unbelievable.!!

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Looks like Gandhi Philately is not affected by this current economy issue going in India, USA and all over the world. It's amazing to see this kind of money still exist in philately.

3 FDC with all 1948 Gandhi 4 stamps (including 10 rupees Gandhi) were sold for $4800, $3100 and $2827.!! Another FDC with only 3 1948 Gandhi stamps (no 10 Rupees Gandhi stamp) which is opened by "Egypt Censor" was sold for $1558. Is it not amazing price.!!!

DON'T USE THIS BLOG POST AS PRICING REFERENCE BECAUSE SOME OF THE FDC SOLD IS VERY VERY HIGH PRICED. !!!

I think this is good for Indian & Americian Government as they will get Sales Tax, VAT and other taxes such as income tax etc  when this kind of huge sale/purchase occurs in which a buyer paid $12000  (almost 550000 Rupees)  for this 4 covers.!!

What a Return On Investment.!!  Only 40 Rupees invested in 1948 is getting 550000 Rupees.!!!

All this taxes collected (if paid by seller or buyer!!) will help people in India or where ever this transaction is applied.  Out of 4 items 2 were items were located in USA in  New York  and Illinois State and 2 items were located in Ahmedabad and Nadiad in Gujarat State in India so both this countries  will be benefited by getting VAT and  Income/Federal/State tax etc.

Following are some Gandhi stamps images through screenshot is for reference purpose so future collectors as well as everyone else including tax collecting agency.!!

All 4 covers are bought by "hitlerandgandhi" id on ebay from 4 different seller.

Item #          Date                  Amount        Description                               Buyer        Seller

Do you think this price is Unbelievable!!!

Also found out that "hitlerandgandhi" bought 2 more FDC for 2100$ & 1025$.

So total 6 FDC for $15000  which 7,00,000 Indian  Rupees.!!.

In Indian stamps and philately specially in Gandhi collection we have seen lot of forgery stamps and philatelic materials, some of them are following.

3) Forged 1948 Gandhi Mourning first day cover.(different way to mourn.!!)

Looks like Gandhi stamps and philatelic material have all kinds of Forgery.!!! including Indian Philatelic items such as 1911 First Aerial Mail from Allahabad and 1854 Queen Victoria stamps.!!

Is this Real Panama Gandhi 1971 FDC or One more rubber stamp?

Hello Gandhi collector,

Recently we all saw Gandhi Panama FDC on ebay selling for 525 dollars, though no body bought it !!.

Also I had never seen it selling on ebay in last 2+ years or any reference in Gandhi Philatelic materials.

Read and compare my following blog post about  BOGUS FORGED Gandhi stamps and philatelic cancellation with rubber stamp applied on piece of paper or envelope and trying to MAKE huge money instead of selling just MINT stamps or making BOGUS or Forgery philatelic material, which are sold from $100 -$1000. Also some are selling for more than $15000+!!!

Do you think it's PANAMA Gandhi stamps first day cover is Genuine?

I don't think so. It's a way to make money.!!

But after doing more research on Panama FDC I am confused as I can't find any details of this FDC. So this is Real or one more Rubber stamp in Gandhi Philatelic world.!!

It was for sale by eBay seller "blue_guy_1234" from USA.

If anyone has more info about this FDC then please write a comment on this blog so all Gandhi collector will be aware of this.

If you want to read more about Panama Gandhi stamps then please check out following blog post.
1) What a price difference in Panama Gandhi stamps.
2) Panama Gandhi Cover with 3 stamps. Expensive Gandhi used cover.
3) Panama Gandhi stamp is highly inflated !! ?

If you ever buy this stamp for more then 10-20$( this is also expensive or you will inflate it.!!) then chances are you will quit Gandhi Philately, because it is too expensive as still there are lot of hidden Panama Gandhi stamps which will come in market in next 50 years and you will start loosing value instead of appreciating.  Let the dealer and reseller try to protect their Panama stamps and accumulate for us.!!

So do you think Panama Gandhi Stamps are highly inflated ? and chances are Scott Catalog will again modify it's catalog.!!

Thanks
Gandhi Stamps Club

Please read following series of my blog post  to understand what is going on stamp collecting world specially in Indian Philatelic materials and you will think it's all BOGUS.!! Yes it's all BOGUS.!!

BTW: I know most of you know about this but I am writing for future Gandhi collector so they can read & see this information which may be useful to them, otherwise it will be like 1969 Gandhi cancellation.!!

Reference of Mahatma Gandhi 1948 FDC from India with all 4 stamps sold on ebay

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Philatelist around the world consider 1948 10 Rupees Gandhi Stamp from India and FDC as investing item so I decided let's track and keep a good source for all current & new Gandhi Collectors. I am tracking Price, Buyer & Seller, Bidders on item etc of Mahatma Gandhi 1948 FDC with 10 Rupees stamp purchased from ebay/delcampe. It will be fun to see how price goes up and down as see ROI. Also this will serve as future reference for all Gandhi Collectors.

But in short, this all looks INFLATED prices.!! It's just a piece of paper!!

Also chance of FORGERY of 1948 Gandhi FDC is very high because it's very easy to make money by forged rubber stamps.

Now look at how this is 1948 Gandh FDC were sold and who were the buyer.!!

Is this valid transaction ?

Why Cameroun Commerically Used Covers is costly? -Gandhi stamps overprinting.

Hello Gandhi collectors,

Recently (Feb 1st 2010) on ebay 2 commercially used covers were sold at very high price. This cover has Gandhi Overprint stamp from Cameroun which was issued in 1969 to celebrate landing on moon.

How can someone are so dumb/foolish who will overprint on this stamps. It cannot be consider as ERROR stamp (but biggest SCAM).

Following cover was sold for $250+ (US dollars) with John Kennedy and Robert Kennedy stamps with Gandhi stamps (one in front and other in  back).

Seller :- gorfa (Canada)
Buyer :-  bipin8 ( now speedbird1*) (UK)
Sold :- $256

I am not sure why they did this overprinting instead of making a new stamp?

Following cover also surpassed price paid for any Gandhi commercially used cover which was sold for $300+ (US dollars) also from Cameroun 1968 Gandhi(without overprint) stamp.

I lost this cover even though I bidded $301!!! Yes $301.!! I am glad that I lost this bid. Otherwise I will regret all my life.!!! Because it does not make sense.!!

I was new in Gandhi collection so I was not aware of all kinds of thing happening in Gandhi stamp collection.!!!

Seller : rlingen (Canada)
Buyer : nil101 (Germany)
Sold for $306

In my 16 months in this field this is most expensive commercially used Gandhi cover I had seen except 1948 India Gandhi commerically used covers with 10 Rupees stamp.

Following cover was sold for $450+ (US dollars) with Martin Luther King(one in front and other in  back)  stamps with Gandhi stamps in front.

Seller : gorfa (canada)
Buyer : nil101 (Germany)
Sold : $456.

Both covers has postmark cancel from sending and receiving countries. Also receiving country is USA where there are more stricter laws against postal fraud.

According to seller this registered mail cover was send from Yaounde to New York City. This first day covers were sent to J. & H. Stolow in New York City, perhaps the most important wholesale, new issue stamp dealers of their time. Either they arranged for a quantity of these to be produced, or the official in the post office sent these as samples to introduce an obviously multi-faceted topical philatelic production!

You can read my previous blog post about Overprint Gandhi stamps where I mentioned about J & H Stolow and overprint stamp which is itself a topic of further study.

Compare above cancellation on cover with following stamps and do more research.!!

Now my questions why this much money is paid for this kind of cover as they are made just to make profit at later dates (after 40 years!!) even though it does not make sense that this are indeed ERROR (overprint) stamps.

Any comments are welcome.

Thanks
