Gandhi SERVICE stamp - Australian bought it ?

As you know my personal opinion about Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE.

As published by several online stamp exhibition, Gandhi Handbook and other blogs, news article and even expert certification from BPA or RPS or someone else about this Gandhi SERVICE stamp I still consider this is a FAKE invention or creation.

Rajagopalachari then served as Governor-General of India from June 1948 until 26 January 1950 and very  led a very simple life in the viceregal palace, washing his own clothes and polishing his own shoes.

Do you think this kind of person will ever involved in following kind of act.?

My personal opinion why Gandhi SERVICE stamp is based on number of following assumption.

  • Governer General Raja Gopalachari will never approve this kind of stamps.
  • Even if he approved it he will not give it FREE or donate it to anyone.
  • Even if he approved he will never print in small quantity.
  • He will never write OHMS on his envelope.
  • No information about this stamp was available when he was alive.
  • Famous Indian stamp collector/philatelist Jal Cooper was selling this stamp even though it was specially made for government use.!!
  • It never displayed or written anywhere in 1948 or 1949 or 1950.!! (Even if it is written it might never came out.!!)
  • He was a writer and never wrote in any of his book about this Gandhi SERVICE stamp.
So what do you think about my assumption ?

Does it make sense with my personal opinion. ?

So why in the hell Australian investor wants to remain in Mystery after spending $850,000.!!

So I am curious whether this transaction really happened or just publicity? We will not figured out unless someone comes up openly about buyer and seller like Bill Gross did for his famous 2 millon dollar purchase.!!

But it will be impossible.!!

But this is great news for Austrailian government as they will be benefit from this by getting GST on Gandhi SERVICE stamp.

US Bond trader Bill Gross spend 2 million on one of the rear stamp and donate it to National Philatelic Museum in Washington.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/05/business/dealbook/bill-gross-sells-a-prized-investment-stamps.html

So why Australian investor of Gandhi SERVICE stamp wants to remain MYSTERY ?

Do you think you will pay $850,000 if you win lotto or if you are some idiot who got fortune as inheritance ?

Do you think someone will give idea about Alternative Investment to some unknown Chinese millionare or some UAE royal family by giving this kind of examples.

Do you think it's a game ?

Maximum card - Max Card - India postcard

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

Do you really think this is postcard is worth $49.!?

It has 1948 Gandhi stamps with 2nd October, 1951 from Pondicherry Bazaar.!!

Do you think it's Genuine  or Forgery ?

Don't you think this kind of circular rubber stamp are easy to make and use when ever you want?

Reason for this question arise in my mind is because it has private cancellation and god knows whether this was done on that particular date or afterwards.!! Also chances of forgery are also very high.

We had seen this kind of stuff in Gandhi Philatelic material with 1948 Gandhi stamps so it's nothing new.

This is from seller "wiwauctions" who in past also sold some of the expensive 1948 FD card and bought by one of the biggest buyer of Gandhi stamps.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/06/1948-gandhi-max-card-sold-for-5100-is.html
http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/09/gandhistampscom.html

After looking to this I am now questioning 1948 Maxi Card with 1948 special "Jai Hind" Cancellation.!!

Also did you notice price difference in above 2 links for Gandhi 1948 Maxi card.!! It's range from $5100-810.!!.

Common it's 5 times difference in just 3-4 weeks. Cannot believe it.!! But this is Gandhi  Philately were any thing is possible.

I am not sure why this much price for this kind of Gandhi Philately material. But your guess is my guess.!!

There are lot of things needs to look before this can be even consider for real Gandhi thematic collection.

Thanks

GANDHI STAMPS & INDEPENDENCE DAY OF INDIA

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

Happy Independence Day to all my blog reader from India as well as all PIO (Person of Indian Origin). On 15th August 1947 after more then 200 years, it was the first time people of India were feeling PROUD TO BE INDIAN on this date as they were freed from British Rule.

On 15th August 1948 exactly after one year of Independence of India, Mahatma Gandhi stamps (set of 4) were issued by India  to celebrate this proud day for every Indian.

But since last 3+ years I am seeing wide range of wrong/illegal things happening in Gandhi Stamps and Philatley material even though it was issued on this first anniversary of Indian Independence and also this trend is continued till today, by making/selling FAKE or Forgery stamps and Cancellation of this 1948 Gandhi Stamps.

Some one made forgery cover or any philatelic material and it will flow in market without anyone can guarantee it's a genuine and collector will display in exhibit or collector will send it to philatelic handbook author so it will be in the book or it will be announced in newsletter or blog or website and it will be glorified as genuine.!!

But in reality it is a forgery philatelic material which we will try to collect it. We had seen this example in 2009 Germany special cancellation with Illegal use of Emblem of India and Gandhi image from Winnenden on October 2nd to celebrate International Day of Non-Violence.!!

One of my favorite forgery is from Indian Embassy of Nepal Cancellation on 1948 Gandhi stamps cover FDC with date of 15th August 1948 which was Sunday.

Recently I saw Tibet 1933 handmade paper cover with Nepal transit seal on 1948 India Gandhi stamp.!! It's not amazing that 1948 Gandhi stamps on 1933 Tibet Cover.!!!

Description on eBay is Tibet 1912 1st issue (Reproduction) with 1/2t dark blue (scott no 10) & 1t carmine bisected (scott 11) stamps on handmade paper envelope with Nepal Transit on Gandhi Stamp cancelled. The seller cannot guarantee the genuineness as it is bought from a US dealer.!!

Handmade paper cover.!!! it's another way to make philatelic more interesting.!! with dual cancellation from Tibet and Nepal and India stamp used abroad.!!

But more amazing thing is that seller does not guarantee that this GENUINE.!! (It's good that seller mentioned this so collector will not get cheated unlike other seller.). But seller did not mentioned about Indian Embassy Nepal cancellation.!! (just Nepal transit)

But if you look closely it has cancellation from Indian Embassy of Nepal.!!

Before seeing this cover I was under impression that this circular cancellation applied on cover is indeed Genuinely applied on all cover, but after looking above cover, I am questioning this circular cancellation also along with comet cancellation.

Previously I was questioning only comet cancellation which is applied on cover with dated 15th August 1948.(not with cachet cover and special cancellation issued on 15 August, which are also FAKE/Forgery some times.!!)

Even certification experts such as BPA and others don't certified cancellation !!! because it's easy to make one or get from post office!!!!!!!!!

Please read my following blog post to understand correctly what happened in past in Indian Embassy of Nepal cancellation as well as Tibet cover with 1948 Gandhi Stamp, so you get some idea about this kind of philately material and whether you should invest (collect) in this or not.

Now after reading above blog post don't you think FORGERY in cancellation of 1948 India Gandhi  stamps.

I have one 1948 Gandhi private FDC (cover without any cachet, not on officially Indian P&T cover)  on just simple cover with Nepal Indian Embassy cancellation in my collection bought around $80 which I regret (all the time) buying it because I was not aware of things going in Gandhi Philately. So Beware of this kind of material otherwise you will also regret like me.!!!

This is how to make money on Philately material by just
using Mint stamp available under $2 and sell it for $50-$80!!
I think I paid too much for that private FDC (FAKE FDC) with comet cancellation.!! (For 1 1/2 anna to $80.!!!). It was not only me but some famous collectors also got trap.!! You might have got  idea from my previous 4 blog post about this.

Even one of the collector/dealer (not verified) offered me to buy back my cover so I shut my mouth.!!

But anyhow this Tibet cover with India Gandhi stamp  was sold for $9.99 on June 13 with single bidder, but it was again in auction for $29.99 with auction ending on July 18th with no bidder.!!

Don't know why it was again for auction !! But your guess is my guess.!! As a Gandhi Stamp Collector you might have seen same item coming again for auction.

It's nothing new in Gandhi Philately were price is inflated by not paying after winning auction so other collector will assume it's a good buy so in future they will try to get it if they available cheaper.!!

Please read following series of my blog post  to understand what is going on stamp collecting world specially in Indian Philatelic material with 1948 Gandhi stamps.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?
4) 1948 Expensive Gandhi FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part IV?
5) 1948 Gandhi Stamps Early Usage cover :  Gandhi Stamps Are False hope of Riches - Part V?
6) Maxi Card sold for $5100 with 1948 Gandhi Stamps - False hope of Riches - Part VI?
7) Indian Philately Exposed
8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II

After reading all of the above blog post in which very very high price was paid for 1948 Gandhi stamps cover and falsely inflated price.

Also now new collectors are getting into this hobby, but there is a huge push to create a glorification of 1948 Gandhi stamps from India on FDC as well as used on cover.

Don't you think we need to protect this stamp as it was issued for special purpose and stop all kind of illegal activity in 1948 India Gandhi Stamps and Philately material, which was to celebrate this proud day for every Indian.

Thanks

INDIA STAMP FIRST AERIAL POST 1911 ALLAHABAD : Indian Philately Exposed - Part IV

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

In my previous blog post I compared 1948 Gandhi Philately FAKE  cancellation (Forgery cancel) with India's 1911 First Aerial Post FAKE cancellation from Allahabad U.P.Exhibition. You can read my blog post by clicking following link.

In this blog post I am going to compare India's 1948 Gandhi SERVICE Overprint stamp on piece of paper with Governor General Cancellation with 1911 First Aerial Post cancellation on piece of paper.

Do you think following images are philatelic material or "Piece of Paper"?

Reason I think it's "Piece of Paper" because

1) Who in the world will cut such a valuable philatelic material.!! They will keep everything intact on envelope/cover otherwise they will not get this kind of material.
2) Don't you think philatelic hobby is for intelligent people.!!(and they will not cut such material!!). Only few  philatelist will take effort or will have knowledge about event and they will make this specially for themselves or friends so chances of going to general collector are very less.
3) Even they cut it then they will make sure they will not cut part of cancellation.!! In this case they cut cancellation which make value less.!!
4) If collector don't understand value of philatelic material or just regular stamp collectors then they will cut piece of paper but it will just used stamp only not on paper. (after removing piece of paper by putting it in water.)
5) As I mentioned in my previous blog post that this cancellation (Rubber Stamp) is very easy to make and apply on any piece of paper or old unused postcard or even on used cover.!!
6) It's 101 years old!! Make sure about quality of INK, PAPER, WEATHER EFFECTS etc.!! and even after 2 world wars and fighting for Independence of India against British.
7) In my previous blog post I mentioned about FAKE Forgery cancellation is widely available with different ink so chances of Genuine cancellation can be affected.!!

Don't you agree with me for all of the above !!

After looking to all the above point I think it's a just PIECE OF PAPER not to be consider as RARE or UNIQUE philatelic material.!!

Now after comparing Gandhi SERVICE stamps and First Aerial Post don't you think similarity between two.!!

Please read following series of my blog post  to understand what is going on 1948 Gandhi India stamps and compare this with your Indian thematic philately material.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?
4) 1948 Expensive Gandhi FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part IV?
5) 1948 Gandhi Stamps Early Usage cover :  Gandhi Stamps Are False hope of Riches - Part V?
6) Maxi Card sold for $5100 with 1948 Gandhi Stamps - False hope of Riches - Part VI?
7) Indian Philately Exposed
8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II

As you read above blog posts don't you think that FAKE/FORGERY Cancellation is a way for Gandhi Philately including 1948 Gandhi Stamps from India.!! along with highly inflated price and not buying it (not paying it).

Even after 101+ years you will find lot of 1911 FIRST AERIAL POST cancellation from Allahabad. So it's not RARE.!!!

After looking above screenshot does it makes sense about quantity available in today's market.? But my guess is your guess.!!

So please beware when you buy any Indian Philately material. Looks like all things which happens in Gandhi Philately is happening in all thematic philately related to India such as British India stamps, Queen Victoria stamps , Indian States stamps, First Aerial Posts stamps and ...........!!!!!!!

Thanks
Ketankumar Patel.

BTW: Following are screenshot from eBay which shows how it is selling on eBay and does PRICE makes sense.

COURVOISIER STAMPS FOLDER : 1948 Gandhi Stamps from India

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

In 1948 Indian Government decided to print Gandhi stamps as a memorial, using photogravure press, and hence had to employ the services of the Swiss printers, Helio Courvoisier, Sa. LaChaux De Fonds, instead of the India Security Press.

Recently I saw folder selling for $5311 so I thought let me spend time on this.  Not sure what kind of importance is this folder in philatelic collection.

To me all this folders are worthless. (Yes worthless.!!).

While searching on this I found following on the web.

"This folder was given to Very Very Important Persons (VVIPs) who attended the ceremony.
Only 50 of these folders were given as gifts to visiting high ranking officials."

Not sure above information is correct but your guess is my guess.!!

But to me it looks all BOGUS.

Never issued by Courvoisier.!! and even if they did then also it's not a collectible item.!!

Now while looking to image of this folder online I don't see any information about this was specially made for Gandhi Stamps. Looks like it is general purpose folder which might be used for all new issue stamps.

But what amazed me that I see wide varieties of folder with different printing on it. Some folder mentioned "INDE 1948" on top center and  in right bottom it mentioned "Avec les compliments de, G. Essig Courvoiseir,  administrateur de Courvoiser s.a"

But I also saw folder with nothing printed in the center page were the stamps is printed and also type of thick paper also looks different to me. Also stamp positioning does not match between this two folders.!!

So not sure which is one is Genuine or both are Genuine or both are FAKE.!!

To me it just look like a thick paper and it's another way to make money out of Gandhi Stamps.!!

Also chances are you might get FAKE (facsimile or copy) when you buy 1948 Gandhi Stamps so beware.! Please read my previous blog post about this FAKE Gandhi Stamps.

Following are 2 different types of folder seen on online auction sites.

On Delcampe :- From France sold for $2600 which buyer did not paid.!! (no front portion of folder can be seen online.)

Center

On eBay : Selling for $5300 from TAIWAN (Missing "INDE 1948" & "Avec les compliments de, G. Essig courvoiseir adminstrateur de Courvoiser s.a" )

Center

If you compare both folder you will find that it's completely different. So not sure about which is Genuine and which is FAKE.

To me both looks like piece of paper printed with Courvoisier.!! So stay away. We might see more varieties of this.

Guess what, in this case also buyer from India did not paid(just inflated the price).!!!!!!! Following is the screenshot from delcampe which will give you some idea what's going on Indian Philately.
Also you can read my blog post about Indian Philately Exposed and Indian Philately Exposed - II

But what amazed is not authenticity of this special folder but the price it was offered(4th offered) to me. Only 611 Euros.!!! and guess what I did not bought it.!!! because I don't want this kind of shady philatelic material in my collection which has nothing to do with Gandhi Philately.!!

Think about the difference 2100 - 611 Euros.!!

Also interesting think to notice is where the price of bidding ended. Both "spellbound" and "stampslover" bidded till 2100 Euros and then stop.!!

If real buyer then they will try to bid little bit more.

3rd bidder is  "0261orthod" bidded 832 euros.!!

Don't you think it's a pattern to cheat Gandhi Collector.?

Don't you think that this is nothing but inflated price for just regular folder in name of Gandhi Philately.!!

Following is the screenshot of that email.

Chances are if I buy it then I will get FAKE (facsimile) stamps which are widely available in 1948 Gandhi stamps and just piece of thick paper as folder for 611 Euros.!!! which will worth only $5-7 for facsimile stamps.!!

Avoid private transaction all together as getting Fake and forgery is very very high as you cannot return it.!!

Want to learn more about Indian Philately (1948 India Gandhi stamps) then click following link to read my previous blog posts.

7) Indian Philately EXPOSED ?

Now you are on your own what you need for your collection and what kind of pocket you have and what kind of collector you are.!!

But my guess is this is easy way to make money by adding 4 stamps in a folder and charging 20-30 times more.  Also FAKE1948 Gandhi stamps are available in large quantity so beware of this also.

This is a common practice in philately world where mint stamps are less worth then philatelic material. So don't just jump in to collection of philatelic material because you 90% of Gandhi Philatelic material is questionable as chances are more for FAKE/FORGERY.

Thanks

Indian Philately Exposed ? Part - II

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

In my previous blog post (Indian Philately Exposed - Part I)  I had mentioned about Glorification of 1948 Indian Gandhi Philatelic materials with inflating price in auction and not paying it(buying or actual transaction completed between seller and buyer), so in future new collector will think price appreciation in Gandhi Philately including Indian stamps and postal history is extremely buoyant, and makes an excellent opportunity for investors.

Also it was Sunday so no Post Office was open except some G.P.O in big major cities such as Bombay, Madras, Calcutta and Delhi.

All this post mark from small post office are nothing but forgery, because it does not make sense, as 15 August 1948 was first anniversary of Independence of India so there were other important function than just stamps first day issue.

But some of you know that it's completely lie about the current pricing as it's very highly inflated.  Looks like a big bubble which happens in US housing market where prices were inflated by bankers/brokers up to 3-4 times but in Indian 1948 Gandhi Stamps it is inflated 30-40 times.!! and sometimes more.!!

Also during housing bubble, people were getting REAL/Genuine house.!! but in Indian Gandhi Philately material chances are you might get FAKE/Forgery cancellations on FAKE/Forgery Stamps.!!

Who ever bought house during that bubble are now bankrupt or  depressed/sad because of decline in their home value but if you buy Indian Philately at this price bankruptcy is also not possible because you don't take any kind of loan from bank to purchase this and you will be very depressed/sad.

On June 3rd, Gandhi  Private FDC with regular post office cancellation which is easy to forge/fake (without cachet and special cancellation) was sold from Melbourne, Australia by ebay seller "melbournestamps" and buyer was 2***1(150) who bid $4801. It took total 9 bidders and 22 bids to reach $4801 from 99 cents.!!!!!!

I always avoid Private FDC because it's very easy to forged and after all my experience I hardly see Genuine material. In this FDC I don't see cancellation from Bermuda which is final destination and also printed register label from Porbander.(which both are easy to forge so that's not a big deal.!!)

Now you might be thinking WOW!! what a price but actually that's not a case.!! but that's not a case. Buyer did not paid.

Do you think $4801 is the price for this private FDC. ? I don't think so as this is inflated to look good.

Do you think eBay is losing money in this kind of transaction?

Do you think eBay shareholders are at risks with this kind of activities.?

CHECK Latest feedback : http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=190682948184&showauto=true

Bidders are

2***1(150) philamaniac2011 (on 7/16/2012 feedback is 157, click above link to verify)
s***o(private)
m***1(269) simrenzo1 (also victim of "hitlerandgandhi" who did not paid to him) (but also bidded on this item from $450 to $4443)
t***8(2798) rohit98103
h***t(1703) "posthost" aka "philametrics"

As per seller previous buyer did not paid for it.!! So it is on auction again!!!!!!!!!

Following screenshot shows that this Private FDC was for auction again from same seller "melbournestamps" at a starting price of $4480.!! instead of 97 cents.!  But why did  2nd and 3rd bidders are not buying this as it was not sold again on July 7th.!!  But your guess is my guess.!!

Don't know how seller this time thinks this is valued $4480 instead of 97 cents.!!

My personal opinion for price for this cover is not more than $50.!! It has nothing interesting on the this philatelic private FDC cover. I always avoid private FDC since I bought Gandhi 1948 Private FDC with Nepal Indian Embassy Cancellation (rubber stamp).

I am always curious about Authenticity of Private FDC/Used cover because they are made as per demand and sometimes with Forgery/FAKE cancellation as NO Official Indian Post Cachet is required.!! Even Certification Experts like BPA or RPS don't authenticate cancellation (rubber stamp) as it is very easy to forge. And you know there are even forged special cancellation of 1948 from India.

By increasing price and not buying is to Glorified of Gandhi stamps so more new collector will think it's a way to invest in Gandhi Stamps and Philately and specially any thing with  1948 Gandhi Stamps from India.

Don't you think Indian Philately is exposed? This is a common practice to make collectors think Gandhi Stamps and Philatelic material is RED HOT and one should invest in Gandhi Stamps.!!

Do you think it's nothing but GLORIFICATION of 1948 Gandhi Stamps philatelic material from India?

It's again for sale for 3rd time.!! at $4480 ended on 7/15/2012

It's again for sale for 4th time !! at $4480 ending on 7/22/2012 !!!

My opinion on 1948 India Gandhi Stamps, FDC and used commerical cover is nothing by INFLATED (artifically RED HOT).

Also to me it looks like NO ONE IS PAYING TO EBAY/PAYPAL FOR 1948 GANDHI STAMPS AND PHILATELY MATERIAL.  It's just inflat the price so in future some new collector will get trap or just keep artificially price very HIGH.!!

Want to learn more about Indian Philately (1948 India Gandhi stamps) then click following link to read my previous blog posts.

Want to know more about FAKE and FORGERY stamps then checkout other blog post click one of the following link and you will be surprised.!!!

INDIAN PHILATELY EXPOSED !!

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

I think with this blog post I am now 100% sure that something big (glorification/high praise) is going in 1948 Gandhi Stamps in Indian Philately.

Following screenshot is just winning bids by "hitlerandgandhi" starting from March 17 and ending on April 15 totalling about $25,000 (Yes, Twenty Five thousand US dollars.!!), not including this used Private FDC with regular cancellation of Kotagiri.!! was sold for $3575.!!

But recently(after 50 days of auction ended) I saw a feedback for Australian seller "simrenzo1" mentioned in his feedback for "hitlerandgandhi" that "Would not deal with this buyer again, no communication or payment made.Bad news

This means that buyer did not paid for this highly INFLATED Gandhi Private FDC. Now I am not sure whether "hitlerandgandhi" paid for any of the above item he bought for $25000.!!

I am not sure whether eBay Unpaid item case was opened or not, but my guess is no case was opened other wise you cannot write feedback.!!

Also why wait 50 days to write feedback as eBay/PayPal only gives 45 days for any dispute.  Did eBay return all commission to seller on this sale? (Great loss for eBay shareholders!!)

This means that Buyer did not paid $3575 !! Don't you think this is glorification of this cover with Gandhi Stamps.!! (Makes you think Gandhi Philatelic material is RED HOT, value increases faster then any other thematic collection, Rich Indian and NRI are investing in stamps, investment needs to diversify, one of the best thematic collection like George Washington etc.)

My personal opinion for price for this cover is not more than $50.!! (I will not buy it for $5 also.!!, because it's private FDC and chance of FORGERY is very very high). It has nothing interesting on the this philatelic private FDC cover. I also question postal cancellation on this FDC. I always avoid private FDC since I bought Gandhi Private FDC with Nepal Indian Embassy Cancellation.

I am always curious about Authenticity of Private FDC/Used cover because they are made as per demand and sometimes with Forgery/FAKE cancellation as NO Official Indian Post Cachet is required.!!

By increasing price and not buying is to Glorified of Gandhi stamps so more new collector will think it's a way to invest in Gandhi Stamps and Philately and specially any thing with  1948 Gandhi Stamps from India.

Following is the in-depth detail analysis how this cover was bidded to $3575 by only 5 bidders and 11 bids who bidded from 99 cents to $3575.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (It will be easy on delcampe.net to see who bidded and I don't have to do this)

Auction starts on Apr 28@20:41
1) p***S(1898) [melbournestamps] from Australia bidded $100 on Apr 28@21:01(20 min of starting.!!)
2) d***1(190) [hitlerandgandhi] from India bidded $3000 on Apr 29
3) e***0(private) bidded $1002 on Apr 29
4) t***e(7) bidded 1052 on May 3
5) p***S(1898) [melbournestamps] bidded $1500, $1600, $1900 on May 3
6) a***p(5810) [alphaomegaphilately] from India bidded $2400, $2650, $3525 on May 4
7) d***1(190) [hitlerandgandhi] bidded $3575 on May 4
8) WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO BID!!!!!!!!!!!
Auction ends on May 5

Now DON'T pay to seller.!!

DON'T THINK YOU CAN MAKE MONEY ON INDIAN GANDHI PHILATELY BECAUSE IT'S NOT WORTH WHAT YOU SEE. IT'S ALL INFLATED TO LOOK GOOD AND YOU MIGHT BUY IT AT 1/3 OR 1/6 CURRENT PRICE.

Do you think Gandhi Philately is Exposed of inflated price.?

Do you think eBay lost money in this transaction, which will affect eBay Shareholders, so eBay needs to investigate this kind of transaction with all aspects including bidders, IP & MAC address of computers bidding on this, PayPal transaction etc in order to increase shareholder value as well as future.

I was initially thinking eBay/PayPal was making money on Gandhi Stamps and Philately material but now it looks like eBay/PayPal is not only loosing commission on this kind of transaction(250$-350$) but they are also taking loss of providing space to handle this transaction which are very expensive server, storage network bandwidth, application and other things to make online transaction possible. This is not good at all for eBay Shareholders.

As you know that in March/April 2012 a bidder "hitlerandgandhi" on ebay was bidding very high and bought $25000+ Indian Philately material including Gandhi. So eBay should get $2000-3000 comission on this purchases.!! I think someone needs investigate in depth all purchases made by "hitlerandgandhi" otherwise it's not good for eBay Shareholders.!!

Glorification of Gandhi stamps is not only just by increasing price but also by creating unique FAKE 1948 used covers and FDC with Gandhi stamps such as from Nepal Indian Embassy Cancellation, Bombay R.M.S cancellation, Pondicherry etc, creating FAKE Germany cancellation and make it unique/rare and all kind of things you ever dream about having it.

Also not sure whether to sell my eBay stock because of all kind of FAKE activity in Gandhi Philately. I bet this will be case also for Indian Stamps, British Indian Stamp, Aerial Philately and all other collections also including coins.

This is not first time I am seeing this. In past I saw Gandhi SERVICE stamp sold for $907 was not paid.!! Read my blog post. (Any thing Gandhi is RED HOT).

Also this happens to me  also 3 years ago when I was buying Cameroun Gandhi FDC.!! FAKE bidder "ansur" overbidded me and did not paid.!! Read my previous blog post (How stamp dealer increase price).

So it's nothing new in Gandhi Philately to Glorified Gandhi Stamps.!!!!!!

Now do you also think Indian Philately is Exposed.!! Please comments your thoughts.

I am not sure about you but I am 100% sure it's all Glorified/FAKE/Inflated/Cheating etc. in 1948 Indian Gandhi Stamps as well as all other Gandhi Stamps from 90+ countries so BEWARE!!

We had seen this in  Gandhi stamp collection, were everyone think they are smarter than other.!!!

1948 India Gandhi Memorial Stamps folder : What a price difference in a month !! $137 to $600 does it make sense.?

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

I don't know why some is willing to pay $600 for this 1948 Gandhi Stamps folder from India. Also there are 50 bids.!!

In my previous blog post I mentioned about pricing of this folder with Gandhi stamps. It was sold for only $137.!! on March 7th.  You can read this blog post to better understand what's going on in 1948 Gandhi Stamps and Philatelic material.

Following is screenshot of folder sold on April 11th by "city-collectables" from Poland who recently sold 40-50 Gandhi FDC from Somalia.

So in just 35 days it was increase by 463 dollars.!!

After detail analysis of this trade it looks like 2 bidder h***h (117) and s***y (286) took price from $200 to $600. Looks like this bidders bids without doing any research.!!

Do you think someone is willing to pay $600 without doing any research such as current pricing, future ROI etc.?

Do you think it's another example of FALSE HOPE of RICHES in Gandhi Stamps? Read following series of my blog post  to understand False Hope of Riches.

1948 Gandhi FDC sold for $2856!! Do you think Gandhi Stamps and Philately is good for eBay Shareholders?

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

In March 1948 Gandhi FDC was sold from Los Altos, California  by seller "drpokiri" . This FDC was sold for $2856 !! not bad at all for investment of $1 in 1948.!! World wide philately hobby is declining but to me it's looks complete opposite in Gandhi Philately.

Do you think this FDC sold for higher price than usual.? or this is the correct price looking to what's going in Gandhi Stamps and Philately specially in 1948 Gandhi stamps.

Who cares ebay shareholder are getting richer by getting commission on this type of sale.

If you want to know buyer then check seller's feedback given to "Feedback Left for Others". But to make it easy I will do it for you. (This is why feedbacks are for. You need to make sure about everything when you are buying and selling on ebay and this is first thing you see.)

Match item # and amount so you know. Also you can make sure by feedback #. You can also make sure by clicking hidden id and comparing with other purchase and make sure it's correct. (Lot of work)

Checkout following screenshot for some of the expensive purchases in March 2012 by Gandhi Collectors and ebay sellers.

Looking to above screenshot it looks like eBay/Paypal shareholder is doing good with Gandhi Stamps and Philately(If all transaction was genuinely closed. i.e paid all money to sellers.!!). That means shareholders has to pay income tax (capital gain tax) too.

Everyone has to pay taxes including seller and ebay shareholders so whole country will do good.

What do you think? Is Gandhi Stamps and Philately is improving economy.?

Again thanks for reading and  please share your thoughts in the comments section.

Thanks

Disclosure:- I have ebay shares in my retirement account and not planning to sell in 72 hours.!!
