Stamp Expertising Certificate -

As in my previous blog post I expertise (ha ha.!!)  that there was nothing like 1948 Gandhi FDC from Indian Embassy of Nepal. 

It's all about making money.!!!

Anyone one can expertizing philately material or stamp. It's up to buyer to believe in it.!!!

As I mentioned Gandhi stamp collection is nothing but TAKING your money (Making money on you). 

In order to make money you will see lot of BOGUS (never exist) philately material which are glorified by some collectors through online Gandhi stamp exhibit and various philatelic blog/ stamps websites/ yearbook/Gandhi Handbooks etc.

Even this bogus philatelic material are in to philatelic museums.!!

Now let's see why my expertising of this 1948 Gandhi FDC from Nepal Embassy is BOGUS (nothing like this issued or cancellation).

Reason for my expertisization is simple.

1) How/Why stamps reached to Nepal Indian Embassy on/before 15-Aug-1948 ? Any used cover on that date with register mail?

Also it was Sunday so not do you think Embassy was open ? If open do you think they were busy doing rubber stamping instead of celebrating first anniversary of Independence of India.!!

2) Why we don't see FDC with official Post and Telegraph  cachets  with Gandhi portrait, which we see commonly see on  1948 Gandhi Stamps FDC ? 

Also why no special commemorative first day cancellation from Nepal Indian Embassy ? if Pondicherry has one.!!! even though Pondicherry was part of French until 1954.!! Think if P&T can arrange stamps then they can arrange  commemorative Jai Hind cancellation as well as official first day cover.!!

But it's not hard they can do this too.!!  by buying some unused 1948 cover and making rubber stamp.!!

Any thing is possible in GANDHI stamps.!!

So this can apply to any stamp collection in world.!!!

It's all about making money.!!

Look at the asking price by eBay seller "alphaomegaphilately" . It's $5500.!!

It's an art of making money.!! 

My guess the stamps are also Forgery stamps (REPLICA or Facsmile) which are widely available under $5.!!!

So make rubber stamp of Indian Embassy of Nepal and affix forgery stamps on it  just make money.!!!

In past similar cover was sold for $4550.!! by eBay seller "drpokri"

Do you think eBay got commission from this transaction.?

If you bought eBay shares thinking this is real transaction and eBay/PayPal is getting lot of commission (approximately $300-$500)  on this kind of single transaction then you are fooled too.!!!

According to my guess (after looking what's going in Gandhi stamps selling) eBay even did not got a any commission as this was BOGUS trade.!!!

Bogus trade means 

• seller might use other id to increase bid (Shill Bidding)
• buyer might not have paid to seller (false glorification by showing high value).
• other stamp collectors want to increase price of this.!!
• friends or relative might have bid on this. (Shill Bidding).

So what do you think about my expertisation ?

HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON EBAY- by selling stamps - BOGUS Indian Embassy (Nepal) cancellation FDC

I regret every day for buying Nepal Indian Embassy FDC from "himphinu" a Nepal eBay seller (rich person in Nepal) and still have one of this in my collection.!!

It HURT'S too because I paid $80 for piece of paper and I was cheated!! (Money don't grow on tree")

But I don't want you to regret like me and I don't want all dealers and collectors who had cheated me should be cheating others.!!

I bought Indian Embassy Nepal 1948 FDC of Gandhi after looking some glorified online stamp exhibit as well in stamps Handbooks!!

God know's what happen 65+ years ago.!!

But it's a way to make money on eBay.!!

Make forged or bogus philatelic material, then exhibit in stamp exhibition and send it to author who will write about that forgery and bogus stamp or philatelic material in their Handbook or Year Book or reference guide etc.

Any Indian stamp or philatelic material is nothing but CHEATING so beware of this. 

It's a SCAM.!

Don't you think it's  illegal use of Government of India property by using this kind of forgery rubber stamp.

If they can forged this I am sure they can also forged Indian passport!!

Also there was lot of cheating in bidding when I was trying to buy this by SHILL bidding,  FAKE bidding using multiple id to increase the price, as well as second chance offer.

This was one of the way they want to show that there is lot of interest in Gandhi Philatelic material.!!

But recently I saw this selling by eBay seller from USA "drpokiri" and item location in India. (Not sure how this works on eBay as well as Indian/USA taxation purpose).

As in past I mentioned that I don't certified that this is Genuine or fake or bogus or forgery as it will be very hard to find all information related to this CDS from Government of India using India's  RTI -  Right To Information act also.!!

But my personal opinion as I mentioned in my previous blog post that it's nothing but BOGUS (never issued on 15-August-1948)

It's up to you to decide as you will be paying money for this.!!

In past I saw this seller has sold ($10000 for 3 items) Expensive Gandhi philatelic material, so it's good for eBay shareholders as they will get commission from this kind of expensive Gandhi philatelic material.

This was sold for $21.50 which is the lowest I saw in past 4+ years.!!

Now look at the other philatelic material available from "drpokiri"

To me all the following are private (not officially issued cover) so chances of forgery or bogus is very very high.

Please look at it and think about it that this can be also rubber stamp similar to above BOGUS rubber stamp from Nepal whether it's

• 1948 Gandhi FDC from Bombay 
• 1911 First AERIAL mail rubber stamp (cachet) from Allahabad 
• cover send to Denmark or Czechoslovakia  
• Gandhi SERVICE stamp used by Governor General of India.

Don't you think it's easy to make this kind of rubber stamp and sell it as Private FDC or commercial used cover to different countries.

Don't you think it will be classic example of "HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON EBAY" - by selling stamps

It's nothing new about FORGERY. In stamp collection FAKE(Bogus - Never Exist) and FORGERY has been going on 160+ years since Penny Black. 

But counterfeit or forgery is going on since 700 B.C. ( 2500+ years).

It's a greed which drives this FAKE and FORGERIES with all kind of CHEATING.

INDIA 1959 POET stamps - NEPAL ON COVER - INDIA USED ABROAD STAMPS - FORGERY STAMPS?

Recently I saw Indian Embassy of Nepal postmark on India 1959 India poet stamps which was selling for $250 by eBay seller "sephil.asia.dubai".

We all know how many forgery of Indian Embassy of Nepal is available on 1948 Gandhi stamps.

So what are chances of this India used abroad stamp of Poet by Indian Embassy of Nepal.?

If you compare with Forgery Gandhi Stamp FDC from Indian Embassy of Nepal than TIME (4 - P.M.) is missing in poet stamp cover.!!

Also ANNA postage stamp were not valid in 1959 because India decimalised its currency from April 1, 1957.

So do you think Indian Embassy employees were dumb who will allow anna stamp on the postage cover.!!

Now don't you think it's nothing but BOGUS.!!

Just create rubber stamp and apply on any old cover and tell friends about it(send it) and someone will write about in Stamp Philatelic Handbooks, Stamp Yearbook, Philatelic magazine, blogs, website or online stamp exhibit etc and increase price using SHILL bidding.

To me it's nothing but BOGUS rubber stamp which collector/philatelist consider as a postmark from Embassy.

It has been glorified by everyone in order to make unique, rare and make money.!!

After looking what's going on in Gandhi Stamps with Indian Embassy of Nepal cancellation, my personal opinion about this India 1959 Poet stamps used on Nepal cover - India used abroad is also FORGERY.

This cover was mailed on October 21st from Nepal and it reached Park Street Post Office on October 23rd at 7:30 AM.

Look at the clarity of rubber stamp as if it is not used at all.!!

You will not even find this much clarity  were you can see all the details about the rubber stamp.!! (check any of your mail delivered to India).

Now do  you think this cover will travel this fast and reach to destination in 1959 ?

Is it possible in today's postal stream.?

I would assume that  postal stream of this cover with INDIA 1959 POET stamps  on NEPAL COVER  which will be India used abroad stamp will be

• Indian Embassy of Nepal will sort the mail depending on countries, city etc on Oct 21 without timing.!!
• Indian Embassy will dispatch to Nepal Post or Nepal Airport?
• From Nepal Airport to  that country and city airport ? (will schedule to direct city or will dispatch to other city PO or airports)
• There will be Custom checking of all incoming mail.
• From City airport to main postal sorting (G.P.O).
• From G.P.O to local post office Park Street delivery on October 23 at 7:30 AM. 

Now if you see all this it's impossible in 2014 even if you do speed post delivery or UPS or DHL or FEDEX. ( Screenshot is at the end of the blog post)

Now do you think this is GENUINE looking to condition such as frequency of air flight, sorting mechanism, transportation to and from airport and various post office etc in 36 hours.!!

Also not sure whether it was send to Calcutta G.P.O post office or directly to Park Street Post Office.!!

If you think all is possible and correct then pay $250 and buy it.!!

Don't you think this kind of Indian Embassy rubber stamp as well as Park Street rubber stamp are easy to make and apply on any cover.

There are lot of possibilities so be careful what you collect other wise you will have VERY UNIQUE COLLECTION of forgeries.!!

Even after writing 3 blog posts about this Nepal Indian Embassy cancellation on 1948 Gandhi stamps cover, I still have  3 more questions about this.

In past on eBay three 1948 cover from Nepal Indian Embassy with 1948 Gandhi Stamps  werefor sale.

Only thing changed is Buy it Now or Best Offer instead of Auction type listing.!!!!!! and price is double/triple of last sale.!! (So no more shill bidding.!!!)

1.5 Annas Gandhi Ghandi 1948 issue (only 1 low value stamp of 4 values set) used from Indian Embassy (Nepal) 15 August 1948 was sold for $50.

After thinking about my above 3 questions it looks to me that this cover was not possible in 1948.!!! because communcation and transportation between India and Nepal was not fast as we used to see today. Also not sure what was the need to send stamps to Nepal Embassy on first day.!!. If stamps can reach in Nepal for cancellation on Aug 15, 1948  then cacheted cover from P&T should reach there too.!!

Do you think it might be backdated ?!! as there is no receiving CDS or just someone has rubber stamp of this cancellation!! (like we see in other high priced Gandhi Philately material.!!)

One more thing why it is coming out of 60+ years.!! and how many of you have seen 1948 Typewriting address FDC with Gandhi Stamps?

In  past I wrote about following cover from France which to me looks like QUESTIONABLE (for forgery, fake, illegal)

Reason it looks questionable because it took only 7 days to travel from Saint-Die-des-VOSGES (which is 400 km from Paris). Saint-Die-des-Vosges has population of 23,000 in 2006. Now think how big it was 55years ago.!!

Now think travel time to various postal department, International Airport(Saint die airport was not), flight schedule in France or through India major cities and Nepal (if post were going through Indian postal agency).

Also this is register cover it needs extra care for signature/rubber stamp of various postal department in order that it don't get lost.

Do you think all this is possible in just 7 days with all manual labor of postal stream as no electronic customization did not exist 55 years ago.

You all know that in current days also it takes longer to get mail from France to India or France to USA.!! So in 1957 it reaches Nepal in 7 days.!!

Also this cover is not address to Indian Embassy to Nepal.

Mailed on :- 2-Sep-1957 (Monday)
Received :- 8-Sep-1957 (Sunday)

But another thing I notice is that Post Office Indian Embassy stamp date 8-Sep-1957  is SUNDAY.

Post Office in India are not open on Sunday or were never opened on Sunday except on 15-August-1948 to celebrate first anniversary of India Independence and also to celebrate first day of Mahatma Gandhi stamp.

Also it's Embassy which don't open on Sunday and even if it is open then they don't do postal work.!!

Also not sure whether this was official stamp from Indian Government (Genuine or stolen) or just BOGUS rubber stamp?

So what is this SUNDAY cancellation from Nepal Indian Embassy.?

Don't you think it's FORGED by just applying rubber stamp on the cover without thinking about day of the week?

There are lot of other questions you can think and I let you think before you pursue your hobby of adding varieties or just adding in your thematic collection.

So beware what are you collecting.

So you need to think always before you buy otherwise you will regret.

To me at the end it will be JUST PIECE OF PAPER.!!

If you have money to throw away then start collecting  British India Stamps, 1948 Gandhi Stamps and Philatelic material and you will have a PIECE of PAPER (with no peace of mind.!!).

Postal History : Cheating in Indian stamp collection ?

Postal history is the study of postal systems and how they operate and, or, the study of postage stamps and covers and associated material illustrating historical episodes of postal systems.

I would like to add some more subject for postal history as world has changed and lot of cheating is going in stamp collection.

• Study of forgery in stamps and philatelic material
• Study of Shill Bidding in auction
• Study of selling forgery as genuine
• Study of second chance offer on eBay.
• How to glorify philatelic material

Yesterday I saw 1948 First day cover with stamp from India of Gandhi was sold for $1500 on eBay by seller "ronsstamps" of California.

Do you really think that this FDC with stamps of India with Gandhi is worth $1500 ?

I DON'T think so.!!

Then do you think this transaction with stamps from India with Gandhi is BOGUS!!!

Yes, it's looks like price is   illegally increased  and highest bidder(winner) did not paid for this postal history philatelic material.!! 

Also 2nd highest bidder even did not bought this postal history cover with stamps of India if he got second chance offer!!

So I got SECOND CHANCE offer from seller even though I was 3rd bidder with bidding of $810!!!

Mint stamps are selling sometimes more than this price.!!! And chances of getting FORGED 1948 Gandhi stamps from India is very LIKELY.!!

This is common practice in India stamp collection with British Indian Philatelic material with 1911 First Aerial Mail cancellation, King Edward stamps, King George Stamps and Queen Victoria stamps as well as 1948 Gandhi stamps were price is increased and than you get SECOND Chance offer. 

Until now I might have got more than 50 second chance offer on Gandhi stamps of India  and I did not bought single of them.!!

This is postally used FDC with stamps of India from Calcutta to San Francisco, which did not have receiving cancellation so not sure whether it was officially travel to postal stream and address.

Also chances of having mulitple of this kind of item is rare so why second offer if eBay buyer "leadpsd" did not paid for this stamps of India FDC.

Following is the bidding detail were 8 bidders wants to buy this with total 14 bids.  (All information is available publicly from eBay by looking feedback, when you bid on items or doing research on eBay.!!)

Reserve for this auction was set $1500, so you see eBay id "leadpsd" bidded  25 minutes before auction end for $1200, $1300 and $1500.

Amazing thing is that this is his first purchase in 4 years.!!!

I got second chance offer for $810.!! Which is almost 45% less.!!

So what do you think about actual price of this postal history first day cover.

$1500 or $810 or $9 !!

Actual price will be $9 if 8th bidder got second chance offer for this FDC with stamps from India !!

But chances of getting forged stamp with rubber stamp is very high when you get second chance offer because when cheating happen it happens everywhere.!!

We had seen lot of forgery in USED cover also and very expensive by SHILL bidding or not paying to seller.!!

Chances of correct ink cover might be in Museum or selling on eBay!!

Above are all bogus RUBBER stamps (which never exist) or forgery which will help future collectors whether they really want to start collecting stamps and philately as postal history or event covers.!! 

My personal opinion is that when any expensive philatelic item from India there are more chances of forgery. Also it's not only India philatelic material but any expensive postal history or event cover philatelic material.!!

Now think what are chances of Forgery with  FACSIMILE or REPLICA stamp used on this postal history FDC.?

Now think what are chances of SHILL bidding ?

Now don't you think it's easy to sell forgery material by just applying rubber stamp on it ?

Now think why I got SECOND Chance offer ? even though I was 3rd last bidder!!

Now think how this is one way to Glorify postal history philatelic material ?

Are Gandhi stamp collectors and Philatelist STUPID.!! ?

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

It's back again.!!

Gandhi Indian Embassy Nepal first day cover is for sale for $100 from eBay seller "pacphil" from California.

This is one more variety in Gandhi  Nepal Embassy of India cover.!! I have following question about this cover.

1) It was mailed to USA but postage is applied only 1 1/2 ( one and half anna). which was not a correct postage at that time for USA. So not sure how it went through postal stream without any charges of insufficient postage.!!

2) Receiving Cancellation Date Stamp CDS of USA looks like it is personal stamp of "Robert D West" not from post office.!! This kind of rubber stamps can be made easily.!! 

By applying this rubber stamp maker of this cover wants to prove that this is indeed travel through postal stream.

We all had seen various kind of forgeries and BOGUS in rubber stamp cancellation !!

Are Gandhi stamp collectors and  Philatelist STUPID.!!  I was stupid 3 years ago because Gandhi Philatelic material was highly glorified but I was not aware of what's going on in Gandhi stamp world. So I bought this kind of cover at very high price.!!

Of course I was stupid at that time because there was no material available which explain what is the reality.!!

But now there are 450 blog post from me which expose all kind of illegal trading practice, forgeries in Gandhi philatelic material as well other British India stamps and philatelic material of King George stamps, King Edward stamps, Queen Victoria stamps etc.
