Stamp collection price - Stamp as Investment ?

We all know stamp collection price is declining in real world except by some rare collectors who still believe that stamp collection is going  up in India and China.

According to me it's nothing but false glorification of stamp collection price by increasing price by SHILL bidding and not paying to seller by increasing price.

Now look at the following screenshot and you will be surprised about Stamp collection price by selling price and number of bidders bidding on this stamps or first day cover.

Gibraltar 1998 First Day cover of  Stamps of Wisdom of Gandhi, Churchill, Einstein and Shakespeare. After 15 years it's not even selling at face value of 1998.!!! And only one bidder was interested in this 4 stamps.!!!

This proves that stamp collection is declining and also it's not for investment.

Don't you think it's a JOKE stamps as investment.!!

Now look at following screen shot of India 1969 FDC with 4 Gandhi stamps who in world is glorified as one of the most famous stamp for collection, but when you see the price it don't even sell for more than original price if you count dollar value in 1969.!!

Again a  it's a JOKE stamps as investment.!!

Following is one more example Stamp collection price of 1969 Guyana first day cover with  2 Ghandhi stamp.!! It was sold for $2.!!

Don't you think it's a JOKE stamps as investment.!!

MISPERF Error stamps or forgery stamps ?

We all know how much greed is involved in stamp collection, in which collectors/dealers will do anything to make money whether it's legal or illegal.

After looking following MISPERF ERROR stamp you will think India is still backward country were there is no QUALITY control process is followed.

If you really think that India has quality control issue then I think it will be every where whether it's software coding or mission to mars and we should forget about becoming one of the super power, if we can't even make good quality of stamps.!!

We don't see this kind of MISPERF stamps from USA or UK or Germany or Japan than why only India  ?

So what are this India 2008 Gandhi MISPERF ERROR stamps ? Is it really Genuine stamps  or Forgery stamps with ERROR ?

Now look at the following India 2008 Gandhi MISPERF error block of 4 MNH stamps and think whether this is indeed ERROR stamp or facsimile or replica is created Error stamp.

If you look at following facsimile or replica (FAKE) stamp than think it's just matter of perforating (cutting) incorrect perforation to make error stamps.

YES above is FAKE stamp which is forged by facsimile or photocopy using modern technology printer and then perforated using cutting machine.

If you don't use perforating (cutting zigzag) then it will be IMPERF stamp, and if you perforated incorrectly than it will be ERROR or MISPERF stamp.

In order to make money they will create forgery stamps, fake error stamps, fake philatelic material, BOGUS philatelic material etc.

Now look at the following recently  India 2008 Gandhi MISPERF error block of 4 or 8 MNH stamps sold by "alphaomegaphilately" and think whether this is indeed MISPERF ERROR stamp or facsimile or replica is created Error stamp.?

This MISPERF ERROR stamps were sold for $16 to $50.!!! Lot of money if you convert into Indian currency.

Now think that if they can print any stamps with perforation they can print IMPERF stamp and than make a error in cutting.

Following is IMPERF stamp of 2008 Gandhi from India and not sure whether it's was available to general public or not.!! I don't it was available to general public otherwise it will be not that expensive.!!!

Either it's stolen from printing waste or forgery.!! and this kind of IMPERF stamp can be made in to error stamp.!!!

So instead of working whole week just make some FORGERY MISPERF ERROR STAMP and make same or more money by selling it.

Also look at the currently available Gandhi ERROR stamps and think is this really make sense to pay very high price.!!!

IMPERF stamps - stamp investing.

In past I bought some IMPERF stamps but now I avoid completely, after understanding how some collectors turned dealer make money by making FORGERY or BOGUS(never exist) material and sell it as Genuine IMPERF stamp.!!

Recently I saw 2008 Gandhi IMPERF stamps (without zigzag cutting) and I was wondering how easy is to make this kind of IMPERF stamp and sell it.!!

Following is IMPERF stamp of 2008 Gandhi from India and not sure whether it's was available to general public or not.!! I don't it was available to general public otherwise it will be not that expensive.!!!

What do you think about this IMPERF stamp, is it's stolen from printing waste or forgery stamps.!! and this kind of IMPERF stamp can be made in to error stamp.!!!

Following screenshot is from eBay seller "alphaomegaphilately"  were this 1 rupee stamp is for sale or $20. It's lot of money if you compare $20 to Indian money which is 1200 rupees. !!

So think stamp investing in 5 years. It's 3000% return on investment .!!

If they sell it just PERF stamp no one will buy it, but this is how you make money on internet.

So what are chances of this as forgery.?

When ever there is lot of profit I usually suspect that stamps, because it does not make sense if it was available freely in market.!!!

If you compare following screenshot this $20 for 4 stamps with full sheet of 100 stamps was not even sold for $10.!!

Now think stamp investing make sense.!!

But it make sense to create forgery stamps and sell it as genuine stamps, which will make sense of stamp investing.!!

If you compare above imperf stamp with following screen shot of 1971 Great Britain Postal Strike stamp you will think it's easy.!! (BTW there was no imperf stamp of 1971 Great Britain postal strike).

Look at the following screen shot of 1971 Great Britain Postal Strike stamp. This stamp is forgery stamp or facsimile stamp.

Now don't you think same is possible for any stamp which can make forgery.

Following is facsimile or replica or photocopy stamp. If we can see this kind of quality in PERF stamp than don't you think it's easy to make IMPERF stamp as it will not required cutting perforation.!!

Also when you see certain philatelic handbook you will find more information about IMPERF stamps so it will be glorified and collector will try to buy it.

But to me IMPERF stamp is nothing but forgery done with modern printers and photoshop.!!

Gibraltar FDC : Europa Writing Letters Series stamps, Famous People stamps, Mahatma Gandhi stamps, Kennedy stamps, Churchill stamps

Hello Philatelist,

Recently I saw Gibraltar 2008 FDC with Mahatma Gandhi stamps, Kennedy Stamp, Churchill stamp and William Shakespeare stamps which was selling for $32.!!!

I think it's completely ripoff price as it don't justify such a high premium.!!

The Europa 2008 theme of ‘Writing letters’ inspired us to feature historical figures and how significant their letters were... BUT NOT ANY MORE.!!

So beware what you are collecting.!!! Stamp hobby is not any more king of Hobby.!!

Don't you think if you buy $32 then you will regret whole your life becuase it's not value that much but it's artificially inflated.!!!
