stamp used abroad - India stamp

Hello Gandhi Stamps Collectors,

We all know that during British India rule around the world, some India stamps were used abroad. Used abroad stamp means that stamp is used from other countries then it is issued. Not sure all that used abroad was genuine and really used as postage from other countries as it's easy to forged rubber stamp as we had seen it from Tibet, Nepal, Maldives etc covers with fake rubber stamp on the cover and made it used abroad.

Recently I saw 1948 Gandhi stamp from India with 1.5 annas value was used from Arizona, USA on 2nd October 2012 on Mahatma Gandhi Birthday which is known as Gandhi Jayanti in India and International day of Non-Violence all around the world when United Nations declared in 2007.

Technically this is valid aerogramme because it has 43 cents postage on it. I think it's 1 cent less than the regular postage requirement of 44 cents in 2012. I think it might be overlooked by postal administration of Arizona or it may not be actually travelled through regular mail stream as it don't have barcode in front, but some times because of smaller size it can be missed.

It's legal to use other countries stamp if there is a valid postage on the envelope.

Ofcourse it looks unique and varities in your collection, but it's not appreciating all the work and looks like no interest in stamp it only sold for $10 for 2 covers.!! Also needs to research more in bidding details.!!

But all other used in Tibet and Nepal or any other countries are nothing but BOGUS and forgery as it was nothing but to make money out of it by making it DIFFERENT.!!

In past we saw following FORGED cancellation from India.

It looks like FAKE or Forged is a way to go in Indian Philately especially in British India, Indian Princely states and 1948 Gandhi Stamps as well as other Gandhi Philatelic material.!!

Following blog post will explain you that indeed that Indian Stamps and Philately (British India and 1948 Gandhi Stamps) needs to be examined before you even think about buying it.

Forgery in Indian Philately as well as 1854 Queen Victoria stamps.
Beware of First Aerial Mail.
King Edward stamp and Gandhi Stamps.!!
Gandhi Stamps and Independence of India. (shameless act !!)
A Hobby in Decline.!!

So after looking above forgery in Indian cancellation what do you think about following India USED abroad stamps on covers or stationary.

FFC First Flight Covers : Are all BOGUS?

Hello Gandhi philatelist,

What is First Flight Cover ?

A cover officially carried on inaugural first flight of  airlines new route or new  aircraft which is flying for first time to particular route with stamps of originating country and cancellation date stamp of that particular date. Also it should have cancellation from destination city post office with next same day of next day.

Now look at the following FFC and decide whether this is Genuine or BOGUS (never flown.!!). Reason for BOGUS is stamp is not from originating country, also CDS from Cape Carneval is on Feb 20th where as first flight is on May 4.!!

First Flight Airlines :- Airberlin (AB8481)
From :- Gdansk, Poland (But no stamps from Poland on this FFC.!!)
To :- Berlin, Germany
First Flight Date :- May 4th, 2012
Postage stamp :- 8 cents Gandhi & 98 cents Grant Teton National Park from USA.
Special Cancellation :- Cape Canaveral, FL, USA.
Date of Cancellation :- Feb 20th, 2012.

After looking to this kind of forgery in 2012 FFC, I think all Gandhi FFC from Germany, Morocco, Syria are nothing but BOGUS or Forgery. This is my personal opinion about Gandhi FFC after looking in my collection!!

According to me this FFC never traveled in first flight!! They just affixed stamp on envelope, put some rubber stamp as cachet and CDS.!!

Who knows whether it was really first flight in 1969.!!

Look at following cover which was made by my son and send it to Algeria.!! It also has official barcode which indicates it travelled to Algeria.!!

Is this a First flight cover?

No it's not a first flight cover but an event cover to celebrate 50th Anniversary of First American in orbit.!!

So BEWARE what you are collecting and why are you collecting and at what price.!!

Read my following blog post to understand about stamp collection in DECLINE.!!

1) A Hobby in Decline : 1948 Gandhi USED cover case study.!!
2) A Hobby in Decline.!! - Part-2
3) How to invest when philately price is dropping.

If you see stamps are not even selling or selling like 5-10 times lower their value than mentioned in catalog.!!

There is nothing RARE or Scare in philately because this hobby is in downward trend because experienced collectors are loosing interest because value is not appreciating and new collectors are not coming in to this because there are lot of other things to do for them such as playing video games on Nintendo or X-box , social networking on facebook or google+ or  surfing on web through internet or SMS through iphone or android or watch games such as cricket, football or basketball.!!

There is little chance of philately can survive by stopping cheating in this hobby. Yes CHEATING.!! which is what you will see in order to increase value artificially by inflating the price by SHILL bidding, not paying to seller or mutual understanding cancelling transaction and lot more.

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

5) 1948 Gandhi Stamps Early Usage cover :  Gandhi Stamps Are False hope of Riches - Part V?
6) Maxi Card sold for $5100 with 1948 Gandhi Stamps - False hope of Riches - Part VI?
7) Indian Philately Exposed
8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II
9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

I hope all the above will help while making decision in investing stamps and to avoid getting CHEATED.!!

Now don't you think it does NOT make sense STAMP INVESTING!!

Thanks

Great Britain USED Abroad stamps

Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Recently I saw 1969 Gandhi Stamps from Great Britain USED in Arizona, USA on 2nd October 2012 which is also Mahatma Gandhi birthday and worldwide it is celebrated as International Day of Non-Violence.

You can read more about International Day of Non Violence by clicking following link.

A classic example of USED abroad stamp of Great Britain, but this is currently it is not a valid postage of Great Britain because they converted to decimal system in 1971.

This Great Britain Gandhi stamps is used with 1961 Gandhi stamps of USA which is still valid and this cover has 6 Gandhi stamps of 8 cents each, so this aerogramme has 48 cents stamps which is valid postage(45 cents) rate in 2012.

So this aerogramme has DUAL countries stamp which makes unique and I think it's valid in USA if there is a valid postage so it's nothing wrong with it or illegal.

But don't you think it's easy to make STAMPS USED ABROAD.!!

Click following link to read more about stamps used abroad in my previous blog post about India Used Abroad and you decide that's it's very easy to make rubber stamps and apply it on any stamps DIY (Do It Yourself.!!)

So when I see some expensive items listed on eBay I wonder that this are really not used (gone through postal stream) but just cancellation from post office or just FORGED or FAKE rubber stamp and make it USED ABROAD STAMPS.!!

Following are FORGED cancellation used abroad in Penang Straits Settlements on British India stamps.!!

So now don't you think this can be applied to any old cover and make it stamps used abroad cover.!!

Following are some of the India stamps used abroad "Singapore India used abroad", "India used Aden", "British India stamp used Port Blair", "India Gandhi stamps used in Nepal"available on eBay from $2500 to $200. I am not expert to give my opinion on this stamps whether this are Genuine or Forged. It's up to buyer to make sure about this after looking all consideration in philatelic materials.

So BEWARE what you are collecting and why are you collecting and at what price.!!

Read my following blog post to understand about stamp collection in DECLINE.!!

Only way philately can sustain is to stop cheating in this hobby. Yes CHEATING.!! which is what you will see in order to increase value artificially by inflating the price by SHILL bidding, not paying to seller or mutual understanding cancelling transaction and lot more.

Now don't you think it does NOT make sense STAMP INVESTING!!

Also don't you think it does NOT make sense to collect all thematic stamps because it will keep coming.!!
