Used stamps - Queen Victoria stamps - QV stamps : Do you still want to collect stamps ?

Hello Gandhi stamps collectors,

Recently I saw Mahatma Gandhi used stamps from India with "Jai Hind" first day cancellation.

We all know what is happening in this "Jai Hind" Gandhi first day cancellation!! If you don't know please click following link and understand about one of the biggest FORGERY in stamp collection.!!

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2013/02/gandhi-stamps-and-1948-jai-hind-special.html

If you read above blog post you will stop collecting 1948 Gandhi philatelic material.

And if you read all my blog post in detail you might not start collecting stamps.!! or you might stop collecting stamps if you are collecting.

It's a big SCAM.!!!!

After looking this used stamps I am wondering how easy is to make used stamps on forged stamps or facsimile stamps ?

Above stamps are for auction with other British India stamps of Queen Victoria stamps or QV stamps for $950.!!

We had seen FAKE or FORGED Queen Victoria stamps before so what are the chance of all this stamps are forged and selling as Genuine.!!

It will be hard to predict because RUBBER stamp are very easy to make and forged stamps are available more than genuine stamps.

Please read following blog post to know more about FORGED Queeen Victoria stamps

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/08/1854-queen-victoria-stamps.html

So beware before you buy any Gandhi stamps or even any stamps for your stamp collection.!!

It's very tempeting to make used stamps from forgery or facsimile stamps because it's increase value and ROI by just buying facsimile stamps for $2 - $5 and sell it for $50 - $100 !!

Want to know more about FACSIMILE stamps then please read following blog post.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/06/gandhi-1948-stamps-fake-postage-stamps.html

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/05/1948gandhistamps_30.html

After reading all of the above what do you think?

Do you still want to collect stamps ?

King George stamps - KG V Stamps

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

In 1948 to celebrate 1st Anniversary of Indian Independence, India issued 4 stamps of Mahatma Gandhi. I notice that there are lot of used cover still available after 65+ years with Indian stamps of Mahatma Gandhi issued in 1948.

Not sure why we only see this Indian stamp of Gandhi on USED cover or Register cover.!! In last 4 years I had seen more than 5000+ different Gandhi cover with Indian stamp of 1948.

Also if you see combination of Gandhi and King George stamps are also available in large quantity. When it comes with different combo of British India King George stamps with Gandhi 1948 India stamps or 1947 Indian flag stamp with Indian stamp of Gandhi, chances of FORGERY or BOGUS is very HIGH.!! I think chances of getting forgery is 99.99%.!!

Not sure why we don't see USED covers with other 3 stamps issued in 1947 which were issued before Gandhi stamps and lot more stamps after 1948.!!

Do you think Gandhi used or register cover are GENUINE ?

Gandhi stamps are popular so that are chances that we are seeing lot of used covers with that stamps because of it's demand.!!

What I mean to say is that because of Gandhi stamp is Glorified by SHILL bidding, false bids or not paying seller after winning or by writing it on various blogs, website, philatelic hand books, philatelic magazine, Philatelic yearbook, stamps forum etc.

Don't you think it's easy to create forgery used cover by just applying rubber stamp which can be made easily.!!

Following are some example of Indian stamps in  combination with British India stamps of King George.!!

You can see King George stamps with Gandhi stamps used on covers.!!

Following are some example of KGV stamps with Gandhi stamps on Indian stationary.

To me it looks very scary when you collect Gandhi philatelic material because of all kind of FORGERY, BOGUS and INFLATED pricing by SHILL bidding, not paying to sellers to Glorify Gandhi Indian stamps of 1948.

So what do you think about above USED covers with King George Stamps and Gandhi stamps ?

Are they really GENUINE used covers or just DIY (Do It Yourself) cover by making forged rubber stamp which will easy to make than special cancellation.!!

Thanks

Ghandi stamp

Hello Ghandi stamp collectors,

In 1995 India and South Africa jointly issued Ghandi se-tentant stamp. Recently this miniature sheet was sold for $1 (55 Rupees) which is great ROI if you consider 8 Rupees invested in 1995 which is 6 times on investment.!

But if you see some of the selling price for this stamp sheet it will show you how Ghandi stamp is inflated.!!

It's selling for 500 Rupees, which is selling 70 times of face value.!! Do you really think this is worth that much.!! ?

I don't think so as there was very large quantity(multiples as per your requirement) available.!!

If you pay high price for Gandhi stamps than you will regret and start hating Gandhi stamp collection, and chance are you will also QUIT collecting.!!

Read following blog post WHY you will QUIT collecting Gandhi stamps.!!

Look at the QUANTITY available which is selling  for $10 -$14. Does it makes sense.!!

King Edward K ED stamps - Queen Victoria QV stamps - King George KGV stamps

Hello,

Recently I saw stamps of King Edward ( K ED stamps), Queen Victoria (QV stamps) and King George KGV stamps.

To me it looks like questionable, because if you clearly you can see it has perforation issue.

There are forgery widely available in all BRITISH INDIA stamps of King George stamps KGV stamps, King Edward stamps K ED stamps, Queen Victoria stamps QV stamps so beware what you are collecting otherwise you will have some piece of paper. I can tell that it's ONLY Forgery are available.!

This is not first time I am seeing this,  but in past also I had seen seller selling as facsimile or copy or forgery, but here eBay seller from taiwan "tw123tw" does not mention anything about it.!! So it's very hard to find out it's Genuine or FORGERY.!!

In past we saw Replica or Facsimile or copy of this K ED stamps, QV stamps and KG stamps of British India stamps. You can read that by clicking following link.

After reading above blog post you will change your mind from questionable to FORGERY.!!

But he is also selling some Gandhi philatelic material also for $6300.!!

This Gandhi item has one official first day cover and first day cancel on piece of paper and three 10 Rupees Gandhi used stamps and one block of four 1948 Gandhi stamps from India.!!

Do you think $6300 is good price for this kind of material or it's cheap!! ?

Needs to investigate whether it's Genuine or Forgery  not only stamps but also first day cancellation because we had seen all kind of different FORGERY and  BOGUS in Gandhi stamps and philatelic materials.

Click following link to read more about Forgery and BOGUS 1948 "Jai Hind" special cancellation issued on 15th August as first day cancel for Gandhi stamps.

Indian stamps Investing ?

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

We all are aware of how much is Indian stamps glorified by all kind of illegal means such as SHILL Bidding, not paying to seller, forgeries stamps and philatelic selling as genuine as well as forged authenticate expert certificates etc.

Recently I saw 1948 "Jai Hind" cancellation from New Delhi and I was surprised by looking at it.

After comparing with other Forged and Bogus cancellation, I am astonished.!! I have no words to say that this kind of philatelic material still exists.!!

You will be surprised and astonished like me when you will compare following special cancellation with other by clicking following link about "FAKE, FORGERY & BOGUS 1948 Gandhi philatelic material from India."

Look at the quantity of 1948 India FDC of Mahatma Gandhi  from New Delhi which were selling for $6000 by a brand new seller "samuelfry".!!

It's just like affixed stamps and put cancellation so you can make 1000 times more money.!! Only if stamps are not facsimile or copy!!

Not sure how this kind of brand new seller are getting material.!! Not sure whether they are genuine new account or just opening a new account to hide identity when they are selling some questionable philatelic material so no one will know who they are .!!

I am not expert in 1948 or even 1969 Gandhi stamp collections because it's very hard to find any information and even if any information is available it's very hard to believe or trust because no one really knows what happened as they might also have forged or bogus Gandhi Philatelic material like Burma, Fiji or Luxembourg etc so it will be very hard to make this as BOGUS or Forged.!!

So look carefully before you buy any 1948 Gandhi special cancellation because some of the cancellations are BOGUS which never exist and it's has been glorified by different ways knowingly or unknowingly.!!

It will be very hard to predict which cities or town really issued "Jai Hind" cancellation as any thing can be possible.

So what do you think about this NEW DELHI 1948 special cancellation of "Jai Hind" on Gandhi stamps ?

I just give my view or personal opinion and you have to think as you have to pay $6000.!!

It's very hard to find Genuine cancellation (special cancellation) as it is very easy to forged.!!! and fake and forgery and BOGUS (never exist) are available in plenty (or forgery only).!!

Still cannot decide then read following blog post which might help you.

Still not decided then my opinion is AVOID it all the cost.!! and have peace of mind instead of worrying you are buying Genuine material.!!!

To me all Gandhi Philatelic material available ( specially before 1950) looks FAKE or Forgery as it is very hard to find Genuine stuff and as new collectors (like me) wants to collect, so some greedy experienced collectors/dealers will provide  all of us as well as experienced collectors.!!

Still want to do research  then please read my other blog post and have fun.!!

Luxembourg Postmark

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

In 1969 lot of countries issued stamp of Mahatma Gandhi to celebrate 100th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (1869 - 1969).

Also Burma, Luxembourg, Fiji and Czechoslovakia  issued special cancellation or postmark (rubber stamp) only. Not sure whether this were legit or not!!

Reason for questioning this postmark(rubber stamp) is that it's very easy to make one and how we can trust it after seeing what happen in 2009 from Winnenden Germany.!!

2009 was a BOGUS (never issued) postmark that started selling on eBay as well as some collectors got it too!!!  Following is the FAKE or Bogus postmark.

Click following link to read more about this Biggest modern time Gandhi philatelic forgery or fake or BOGUS.!!

If this can happen in 2009 then 40+ years ago it was very easy and no one will even question it because of lack of communication.

Now how we can verified that this 1969 postmark were indeed Genuine or Legit.!! Someone might have done similar in 1969 and we all might be pursing it without knowing the reality of the postmark.

Of course information will be available from various sources but how can we even trust that information such as blogs, exhibition, philatelic magazine, handbooks, stamps forum, stamp boards, websites etc as they might have got incorrect information.

Recently I saw Luxembourg postmark selling for $26.!!

So BEWARE now it will be turn when you buy Rare and Expensive collectibles. It's happening each and every collectible items.!!! whether is not expensive collectibles items or not rare collectibles items.

There is nothing like Rare and Expensive collectibles, but it is made Rare and Expensive collectibles by increasing price.!!

I will not pay $10 for this stamp because stamp collection hobby is dying.!!

Reason for this low price is that no one collects stamps.!!

But also lot of FORGERY and SHILL bidding which is killing this hobby.!!

Want to know more about FAKE and FORGERY stamps then checkout other blog post click one of the following link and you will be surprised.!!!

1) Philatelic FAKE and FORGERIES.
2) FAKE AERO PHILATELY Covers.
3) Stamp collection CHEATING.

Expensive India stamps - Rare Indian stamp ?

We all know when it's rare (very very rare) then only it will be expensive and famous. Also it should be from some well know country, otherwise even if it is rare stamp than also it will be not famous and it will be not expensive.

Expensive stamps are actually made rare so it will eventually become expensive.

Think about 10 Rupees Gandhi SERVICE stamp from India and apply logic there why it is expensive. First all it was only printed 100 stamps for use only by Governor General of India. (Government usage only). So how in the world normal collector will have this stamp. According to me if general people cannot buy it at face value than it is not consider a stamp.

Think if KING of England decide in 1850 than only King will use first stamp and it will be only with King. If that was the case than penny black stamp will be billion dollar right now.!! But it's available under $100, because this stamp were printed in large quantity and it was available to general public.

Some of the rare stamps are which were printed in error and it was available to general public during that time. One of the famous example is INVERTED JENNY. Recently this stamp was sold for 2 million dollar for block of four.

You will think your collection also become rare and has expensive stamps, but chances are very less unless you start CHEATING.!!

How to increase your stamp collection value :

Philatelic SCAM:

Make forgery philatelic material :

Art of Making Money:

Create RARE stamps or Philatelic material:

O.H.M.S., is short for On Her Majesty's Service or On His Majesty's Service (depending on the sex of the reigning monarch), is an official franking commonly seen on correspondence from government departments.

Not sure why someone will write with pen O.H.M.S on cover even after 17+ months of India Independence from British.!! But my guess is by hand writing it they want to prove it's genuine and make it one of the most expensive stamp in Gandhi stamp collection.!!

This kind of thing happens when you do some thing wrong and keep some proof which will help to find the mystery.!!

In Hindi language there is proverb 'Chor ki Daadi mein Tinka' and this O.H.M.S is a "Tinka"!!

In English it will be "Mole in Thief's Beard."

Now this O.H.M.S philatelic cover was for auction starting at $69,000 or 50,000 Euros.!!! It's a one of the most expensive stamp collection item.!!

O.M.G!! Don't you think you just need one of this cover (expensive stamp) so you can live your whole life easily!!! It's almost 40+ Lakh rupees Indian money (40,00,000 Rupees or 4 million Rs.!!)

Rare Indian Stamps. Below is rare Indian stamps used on cover if genuine.!! This is  among the most scarce and rare Indian stamps available on market.!!

But to me it looks like rare FORGERY Indian stamp!! To more authentic maker of this cover wrote Registered + Airmail and also receiving date and time.!!!

Also Register label is just a piece of paper printed with R 186.!!

But amazing thing is that blue ink rubber stamp of C. Rajagopalachari without any title such as Governor General of India.!!

You can make one and try to make money.!! (Just Kidding.!!)

Want to learn "HOW TO MAKE MONEY USING INTERNET" or expensive stamp collection item then read following three blog post so you will be expert in making money and also making expensive stamps.!!

To me it's nothing but forgery to make and feel like it's genuine without thinking whether it make sense to write O.H.M.S.!!

So what do you think about this cover ? Is it official cover or just a big forgery.!! ?

To me it looks like a big time forgery !!

Now see following screenshot and you decide that this are really used Gandhi SERVICE stamps.

There is nothing RARE or Scare in philately because this hobby is in downward trend because experienced collectors are loosing interest because value is not appreciating and new collectors are not coming in to this because there are lot of other things to do for them such as playing video games on Nintendo or X-box , social networking on facebook or google+ or  surfing on web through internet or SMS through iphone or android or watch games such as cricket, football or basketball.!!

Only way philately can sustain is to stop cheating in this hobby. Yes CHEATING.!! which is what you will see in order to increase value artificially by inflating the price by SHILL bidding, not paying to seller or mutual understanding cancelling transaction and lot more.

Following is the large quantity(very rare!!) currently for sale!! In past 6 months I had seen more than 30 for sale!!

Out of which I found interesting. I saw two Gandhi SERVICE stamps with KGVI on a piece of paper with Governor General Camp P.O. (Click this link to see it on delcampe) and it's starting price is 3000 Euros.!!!

Yes 3000 Euros.!!!

But I noticed that date of cancellation on that piece of paper is 15 May 1949 which was SUNDAY.

* Do any one know Governor General was working on SUNDAY in 1949 ?

* Do any one know Governor office (post office / camp p.o) was open on SUNDAY in 1949?

* How can you tell that this piece of paper is from Offical Cover  as it is mentioned in description.?

* Did you notice that King George Stamp is regular stamp ? SERVICE overprint is missing? Is it Error.!! (No there was also regular stamps of King George.!!)

* Don't you think collector or receiver or maker of this piece on paper don't know the value of this.!!! You can see 1 or 2 or 3 on piece of paper but not 30+ in last 2-3 months.

* Don't you think it's easy to make this kind of rubber stamp?

What do you think about this Gandhi SERVICE stamp with Governor General PO date stamp?

FAKE or FORGED ?

I think your guess will be mine.!!

We all had seen FAKE stamp of 1948 India GANDHI SERVICE for all kind of value!!

So now do you think it's above Governor-General cancellation GENUINE ? or FAKE (just piece of paper) ?

This is how to make money in Philatelic.!! Use Mint stamps worth $5 and make $4000!! by creating this kind of material.!!

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?
4) 1948 Expensive Gandhi FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part IV?
5) 1948 Gandhi Stamps Early Usage cover :  Gandhi Stamps Are False hope of Riches - Part V?
6) Maxi Card sold for $5100 with 1948 Gandhi Stamps - False hope of Riches - Part VI?

8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II
9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

I hope all the above will help while making decision in investing stamps and to avoid getting CHEATED.!!

Now don't you think it does NOT make sense STAMP INVESTING!!

Suriname stamps First Day Cover

Hello Gandhi philatelist,

Recently I saw Suriname stamp of Gandhi FDC sold by "postalinter" for $10 and   by "mijo7570" for $7 each ($21 for 3).

To me buyer paid very high price for this kind of first day cover from Suriname.

What I learned in 4 years in this Gandhi Philately hobby is that there is nothing rare or hard to find stuff and if they are hard to find or rare than it's FORGERY!!.

Gandhi philately is  glorified by so some dealers and collectors to get richer by making new collector to think to INVEST in stamps.!!

In 4 years I saw that Gandhi stamps and philatelic price as falsely INFLATED by shill bidding, not paying to seller or very high starting price.!!

If you see following screenshot you will surprised that 14 & 19 Suriname FDC covers were sold for only $5.50 & $10.50.!! which indicates that buyer only paid 40- 55cents per first day cover.!!

Now if you see following screenshot you will be surprised by looking at price this Suriname stamps first day cover were sold.

It's somewhere between 20 cents to $1.!!  As you notice that there is very wide range of cachet applied on that in 1969 as well as you can apply different cachet on plain fdc any time.!!

So now what you think about the Suriname first day cover sold for $10 each or $21 for 3.!!

Do you think this were genuine or legit transaction ?

What do I mean by legit transaction ?

Because sometimes seller himself/herself bid on his/her own item.!!! which is known as SHILL bidding or sometimes friends help them out to increase the price as they know id of their friend.!!

Also sometimes buyer will not pay to seller.!! In this way price will be increased and other new collector will think that it really sold for that price and will try to buy it cheaper than that when they get second chance offer.!!!

So what do you think about pricing of this Suriname Gandhi stamps first day cover ?

India postcard - India max card

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

I was surprised when I saw following 1951 India Postcard with First day cancellation of 1948 Gandhi stamps.!!

Not sure how 1948 first day cancellation on 1951 postcard ?!! It's a interesting India max card or maximum card.!!

We all know what kind of forgeries are available in 1948. If you are not aware of it then click on following link to read about it.

It's not only in 1948 Gandhi philatelic material such as register cover or used cover or SERVICE stamps and  first day cover, but also on all different thematic collection. It's very hard to find genuine because every where you see it's forgery.!!

Let me know what do you think about this India postcard or India maximum card?

Is it Genuine or Forgery.?

I am not sure about this but to me it looks like questionable with cancellation from Bombay G.P.O was applied to this 1951 Indian postcard!!

It was sold by ebay id "mintblock" for $54.!!

Don't you think it's easy to make money instead of selling MINT stamps.!!

If you see bidders list you will be surprised as 3 bidders bidded on this item and some of them are very well known bidders (specially for Gandhi stamps and other British India stamps).

Do you really think Buyer paid to seller ?

Not sure how 1948 special Jai Hind cancellation is on 1951 postcard is possible, but this is Gandhi philatelic were anything is possible.!!

Pondicherry French India stamp

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

Recently I saw India used abroad from Pondicherry which was a French colony even after India got Independence.

Don't you think it's easy to make this kind of rubber stamp or someone might have this kind of rubber stamp and is passed to next generation or it might be completely BOGUS to begin with.!!

Above is example of India used abroad with 1948 Gandhi stamp from India as well as King George stamps with cancellation in 1949 from Pondicherry.

I am not sure whether this Genuine or Forgery ?

Reason why I am thinking is that this cover don't have cancellation from receiving post office.!! So not sure whether this was actually went through postal stream.!!

Also in past we had seen lot of FORGED rubber stamp applied on Gandhi stamps to make more money.!!!

And because of this reason I lost interest in USED covers with exotic location.!! Such as Pondicherry, Tibet, Nepal, Penang straits and all used abroad stamps because it's all fanasty.!!

It was  only sold for $49.!! Even though it's unique combination of British India and India stamps, Cancellation from French India on British India and India stamps which was held by France until 1962.

Do you think this possible or just forgery or Bogus?

India 1948 Mahatma Gandhi Mourning Issue 12a + India KGVI 6a both tied at the back of the cover with Boxed Slogan Cancellation 'MOVE WITH THE TIME - USE AIR MAIL' from France Colony French Occupation in India PONDICHERRY / PONDICHERY to Washington USA....

Fine India Used Abroad Cover..

Few horizontal creases seen only on the high resolution scaned images...

Superb postal history. As shown in scan.

In past we all had seen some unbelievable price for this kind of used abroad stamp. But there are also chances of SHILL bidding or non paying buyer just to glorify Gandhi stamps.

Portuguese India stamps

 Hello Gandhi Collectors,

Recently I saw Portuguese India stamp on piece of paper.!!

Yes, it's on piece of paper with somekind of lines on it as postmark cancellation.!!

Above pair of stamp was sold for $1061.!!!

Not sure how someone can pay $1061 for Portuguese India stamp without any authenticity. Not sure how you can tell whether this is forgery or genuine.

But's it's good for eBay/PayPal as they will get about 8-10% commission and for Government of India as they will get income tax from this kind of expensive sell. Also not sure how it will be shipped outside the country as it is 100+ years old antique material, which are not allowed illegally.

We all know that there is lot of forgery in Gandhi Philatelic material as well as in British India stamps and philatelic material, so what are the chances of Portuguese India.!!

I think there are lot of chances because it's very easy to make rubber stamps and God knows what happened in past when there was very hard to find any information.

We can't trace properly for 60 years ago philatelic material in Gandhi philatelic material so following is 140+ years.

In past I wrote about Forgery cancellation on East India Company stamp from Penang Straits cancellation. You can see that forgery cancellation of India used abroad in following screenshot of my blog.

Want to read in detail than click following link.

In past we had seen India USED abroad Gandhi stamp. It was used on Tibet cover and stamps, India Gandhi stamps and Nepal Indian Embassy Cancellation, which was not even  sold under $10.!!

It's a real true example of India used abroad on 2 different countries.!! But it's a FORGED cover.!!!
