Aseem Trivedi Cartoon "National Joke" also makes sense for Gandhi Stamps and Philatelic.!!

Hello,

"Satyameva Jayate" (Truth Alone Triumphs) is a mantra from the ancient Indian scripture Mundaka Upanishad. Upon independence of India, it was adopted as the national motto of India. It is inscribed in Devanagari script at the base of the national emblem. The emblem and words 'Satyameva Jayate' are inscribed on one side of all Indian currency.

Recently Indian Cartoonist Aseem Trivedi was arrested (read news) and  was charged with sedition for insulting national symbols through his cartoons. The cartoons in question are on the theme Cartoons Against Corruption and one of them depicts the Indian national emblem as comprising wolves in place of lions and the slogan Bhrashtameva Jayate in place of Satyameva Jayate.

I think following cartoon "National Joke Satyamev Jayate" is not only "National Joke" but can also apply as "Gandhi Stamps and Philately Joke.!!"

Reason for this no one cares and respect National Emblem in Gandhi Philately as it's only to make money out of it.

Whether it is Germany 2009 Gandhi Special Cancellation or it's 1948 Nepal Indian Embassy cancellation or 1948 First day "Jai Hind" special cancellation.

Please read my following blog post  and check out following images (to me it's a national joke) about following FAKE AND FORGED Gandhi stamps and philatelic cancellation.

So now don't you think Gandhi Stamps and Philately is a also "National Joke" !! where no philatelist care what's happening in Gandhi Philately,  what's they are doing with National Emblem by illegally using it and making FORGED special postmark cancellation and also making forged Indian Embassy cancellation and lot more.!!!

But I hope one day "Truth Alone Triumphs" in India and it will "Not National Joke" as well as in Gandhi Stamps and Philately.!!

Satyameva Jayate!!
